So here I am years later. HealthPlanet is unchanged and still sub-standard in my view. Aside from HealthPlanet , the support materials are also not very helpful and difficult to follow. Hopefully you never need to re-connect your Bluetooth….. good lluck.

Just bought the BC-402. The Planethealth (English version) is dissappointing. The user interface is very old style and data sharing with Apple Health user is limited. HealthPlanet seems very old and just patched up over many years. It needs an overhaul. I’m new to Planethealth so I will try to use a bit more, but first experience is not to good. Now there years I am still struggling to get HealthPlanet to pair with my iPhone. HealthPlanet is among the WORST apps I have come across.

HealthPlanet is useless which means the very expenses taninta scales that it links too are rendered useless. A total waste of money. The decelopers don’t respond to correspondence. Apple should remove this from HealthPlanet Store. As can be seen by the other reviews I’m not alone.... Take it down!

HealthPlanet and the device have been working fine until today. HealthPlanet required me to register the device, but will not let me add since the "ok" button is not working.

I spend money to buy the product. This is not free product!

I see that 5 years ago, and 4 years ago, people were complaining that you measure in cm and kg and have no facility to change to ft/in and st/lb. entire countries use the latter and have no clue what TJ e former means without making complicated calculations. C’mon guys this is not acceptable — please get those changes in.

Also I agree with others who say the instructions are unclear and it’s hard to make it work. I haven’t managed to get it to work properly yet, or interact properly with the phone. The instructions that come with fail to name HealthPlanet properly; the Bluetooth connection doesn’t work. What a pain for such an expensive device. I will persevere but this is so enraging.

You cannot import a csv file with data to HealthPlanet. Must do all manually.

And the worst of all not customer service. When you $200 for'a product it is unacceptable.

HealthPlanet is not intuitive at all and it doesn’t provide even the most basic user options, like choosing between imperial and metric measurements. It disconnects quite often from the BCM and you have to re-pair it. At least it shares data with iHealth and Apple makes the weight conversion for you. Too bad Tanita has been left out of the loop by all the other tracking apps like LoseIt and so forth. We users have been left with this crappy app as the ONLY option to communicate with the BCM scale!

HealthPlanet used to work flawlessly. When I switched from iPhone 6s Plus to iPhone X, it stopped working.

When I try to activate the bathroom scale RD-901 from HealthPlanet it simply does not turn on anymore. I unpaired the device, removes batteries from it, deleted and downloaded HealthPlanet again, tried paring the device again. Yesterday when I did this HealthPlanet recognized the device. This morning the scale was not working again. I tried all of the above all over again and it didn’t help this time.

Like another reviewer is saying the “OK” button on the “Add Device” screen is not responding. Without a working app this bathroom scale is not worth the price. I’m very frustrated.

I switched to this scale from a Whitings/Nokia after they took away some of the functionality of their scale. This scale was much more expensive but so much more of a pain in the butt and HealthPlanet makes it even worse.

The apps is good for display the results other than that there isnt anything to do. You cant do change settings on the apps like you can do manually on the device. The link to Healthkit is very minimal (only Body Fat % and Weight). There is no comparison chat/table in app like others. In short, this is app is really poor. Such as shame, the scale is great in lots of measurement.

I hope they outsource HealthPlanet development outside of Japan as well as the manual. It is slightly confusing.

There should be a switch to switch to lbs from kg, inches from cm and so on. It could be really as simple a a switch in settings. If this feature was there this would be a 5 star. Right now as is does not work very easily since I have to convert my measurements into kg and such

With the last update you can no longer log the weight because it does not recognize the decimal point. It would also be useful if you could export the data to excel or a .csv file and if the other information collected in HealthPlanet could be shared with apple health as it was before. An update was done that did not address did problem. I’m a loyal customer of your balance and HealthPlanet has been of great help. Please fix it!!!!

Needs to have be able to switch between metric and imperial! Also needs a simplified style redesign and a quick English language double check.

Positively, it does sync with Apple Health (which will show the data in imperial units) and connects and works very quickly with my Tanita scale.

I really like the idea and the use, just needs a tiny bit of work.

Application has no ability to switch to imperial measures (lbs, feet/inches). Add that and support for storing/reading all app data in Apple health and you have a great app that would be integrate my scale with all other apps I use.

Let's hope developer is listening, your app has great potential!

I agree with other posters. Please add ability to convert to imperial measurements so I don’t have to do it manually. Also, link to Apple Health so I can have all my data in one place.

Tanita model BC-420 after update software version 5.6, it work again on ipad air2

I use HealthPlanet to keep track of the datas I got from TANITA BR-750~ it's working very well so far~
