Healthvana- Patient Engagement Reviews

I really like having my results with me so that I can show my partner(s) but I think it would be between if there was a better way for partners to share their results instead of screenshots
Cause screenshots can be edited, screenshots can be fake, what if there was a way to add someone on a trusted list and they would be able to check my account and see my results using their own accounts ?

The main reason I downloaded HealthvanaPatientEngagement on my iPhone 12pro, is so I could add my vaccination record to Apple Wallet. I can view my records, but HealthvanaPatientEngagement won’t download them. Finally had to login to the Healthvana web site to download the records to my wallet.
I couldn’t help but notice that there have been mo updates to HealthvanaPatientEngagement for a year. I don’t understand why La County picked this company to manage our electronic health records, but having a fully functioning app should have been a prerequisite.

This makes it very easy to get my results from my doctor and communicate with them. It's also nice to be able to go back and see old results and everything is laid out so it's easy to find and use.

Come on guys. How are you supposed to create an account? I have tried HealthvanaPatientEngagement , searched the web portal, googled create account for Healthvana, and nothing turns up. Even if…there is something Im missing, that is ridiculous. Be better, and if anyone at your organization figures it out, please let me know. I would be curious to see what tour portal has to offer.

How do you even create a user name/password? It is taking me directly to a sign in page but there are no other options (to create user name/password) AND I can only access them through “contact us” if it is concerning press or sales...obviously the customer is irrelevant!!

Seems like a cool app and handy to have results and vaccinations in one place. Add to wallet not working for me...

My provider used this so I downloaded it to get my results. Unfortunately results don’t get transferred to Apple Health so they are stuck in a dumb app and if I want to see them I have to guess that they are in this one. Another dumb silo.

They seem to be fixing any bugs that came up before 👍👍👍

Took forever to log in. I knew my password. It just wanted me to enter it 50 times before accepting it. Now it won’t add vaccine pass into my wallet. 👎👎 What good is HealthvanaPatientEngagement if it can’t do a very simple thing? How can we trust it with medical records if the programming is soooo bad?!

Or it’s not functioning at the moment. Was unable to add vaccinations to Wallet through HealthvanaPatientEngagement or their mobile site. The google pay link works but that doesn’t do me any good on an iPhone.

As the tittle says, when I first got HealthvanaPatientEngagement recommended because the ability to add your COVID 19 card digitally to Apple Pay. Every time I click on add to “Wallet” nothing happens??? Is annoying and misleading. Don’t install if that’s your reason for HealthvanaPatientEngagement.

I used to love HealthvanaPatientEngagement and I love the concept.

But it has not been working for me for quite some time now, despite reinstalling it multiple times.

All I get is the Apple loading wheel indefinitely. Nothing to click on or even a way to sign in or report bugs :(

The whole reason I downloaded HealthvanaPatientEngagement was to be able to put my vaccine card in my Apple wallet and that doesn’t even work! The button to do so is just an image and not an actual link to the wallet!

I downloaded HealthvanaPatientEngagement and there is no place to sign up. It just asks me for my log in and password, which obviously I do not have of it does not allow me to create an account. Any ideas?

Share to digital function is not a link, it’s a picture. The Google play link works fine, the Apple Wallet link does not work.

I have tried my best to troubleshoot and reinstall without any success. I have attempted to reset my password to tell me that the system is down. SMH

It doesn’t give me the option to set an appointment. I could only view my results.

Forget making an appointment this way. It never works. The only thing that has worked is viewing test results.

HealthvanaPatientEngagement has missed approximately 15 to 20 COVID test that I’ve taken with the Fire Department. I took a booster shot 5 days ago, let’s see if they record/post it.

What a great app. Yes there a few bugs that need to be worked out (already discussed above), but it's an overall great app.

That said, I feel compelled to give it 4-stars for a reason. I don't think it goes far enough. I think there needs to be another feature to it.

It already has the share feature to it. However, it doesn't go far enough. What good is HealthvanaPatientEngagement really going to do if only the clean people share their results? A better idea would be to create another feature within HealthvanaPatientEngagement that would provide an alternative to voluntary sharing. Partner with counties, cities, clinics, and condom manufacturers to get them to provide rewards for not only getting tested but also for letting the clinic post the results. If successful at incentivizing people to get tested, the latter part if my suggestion would definitely increase people's confidence in the results as well as in the ability of HealthvanaPatientEngagement to correctly identify who does and doesn't have gonnosyphiherpeles.

For example, if a clinic's hours are shown incorrectly (a 9-5 place is shown as opening at 5pm and closing at 9am), there needs to be a way to report that problem.

Sad to see that a sorely-needed service such as this has been hamstrung by a poor choice of name. Hopefully you can gracefully change it and start anew. It takes humility to admit you were wrong and make it right. Take another look at all those 1-star reviews, and realize that people WANT HealthvanaPatientEngagement to succeed. Change the name and make it so.

As an Master of Public Health candidate, I think HealthvanaPatientEngagement is a wonderful use of technology to improve public health. It empowers people to better manage their health. Because sex and STIs are often taboo subjects, many people are frequently embarrassed or scared to seek the information and help they need to practice safe sex.

Also, as someone who was born and raised in Hawaii and who is part Native Hawaiian, I think that comments about HealthvanaPatientEngagement ’s name negatively portraying the Hawaiian culture only support the fact that we need more open dialogue around STIs and sexual health. HealthvanaPatientEngagement is about helping people be safe and healthy, which I think is very positive. The “get lei’d” joke is used all the time with no malice behind it.

HealthvanaPatientEngagement is nearly impossible to find in HealthvanaPatientEngagement Store. I tried searching for Hula, the original name, Ramin, Bastani, etc. I had to spend twenty minutes on Google and scroll past dozens of results about "New Hula App…" and "Hula offends entire state…" as well as "estimating it will happen in the next month or so" to finally find it had been "changed to HealthVana in 2014"

I can't believe how great HealthvanaPatientEngagement looks. In a space that is inherently awkward and full of confusing websites that look they were built in the late 90s, we have finally Hula. An App that makes it easy to get tested, and keep your results with you all the time, Hula makes the conversation less awkward, and makes sex safer! Easy to use, this is going to change healthcare if you can get your test results sent to your phone from your doctor!

Great way to find test centers with lots of info on clinic hours, pricing, whether the clinic focuses on a particular demographic, etc. Once you get your results, HealthvanaPatientEngagement has a slick interface for storing and sharing your status. Def makes the convo less awkward :)

HealthvanaPatientEngagement is well engineered with a decent UI, not too cluttered, but still fully functional. Searching for a provider was quick, with multiple filtering options. Not clear if you can use HealthvanaPatientEngagement to rerequest results, just so they will be added to your profile. Will try and see. Then I can find someone to share them with to check they part out too.

Having 'the conversation' is always awkward, but Hula makes it less so. I went to a clinic that was directly integrated with Hula and I got my results back right on my phone without having to go back in. Also, they don't list every single place you could ever possibly get tested, just ones that specialize in testing and cater specifically to your needs.
