invoices, estimates, credit memos, expenses, purchase orders, etc....
I’m a self employed music teacher, and needed something simple to generate and email invoices to my clients. It gets the job done, no hassles, easy to set up, and dependable. The only thing I would like to see is that it would be great if the iPad app and the iPhone app would sync together; in other words, set up the business one time, and then have all of the invoices and settings sync from one device to the other over iCloud. They do sync now, to a degree, but it’s not real seamless, and sometimes things fall through the cracks if you, for instance, generate an invoice on your phone, and then expect to see it on your iPad. It will eventually show up, but not immediately. Sometimes also you can take a payment on one device, apply it to a specific invoice, but the payment won’t apply to the same invoice on the other device. For the time being, I have just avoided using two devices. Stick to either iPad, or iPhone, and you’ll be totally set.
Great for Self-employed & User-friendly!
Used for over a year now and it’s been so helpful! There are a couple of small changes I’d like but this app has exactly what I was looking for AND need as a self employed person. It was very easy to upload my logo. I like emailing right to client for estimate and invoices and being able to customize amounts and add as many different options as possible for items. Also has a standard email & notes template you can customize. I’d like to create a few of those to select per client but otherwise it is excellent. It also gives you running totals for outstanding invoices and that’s great for keeping on track of receivables! The time or expense feature is awesome and also adding tax ( or not) to items automatically.
The app erased all of my invoices
I’ve been a customer for over two years and have loved this app! I’ve used it daily to help grow my business. I have loved the detailed reporting and projections I can make with this app. Then it crashed on me and erased all of my data for the last two years. I have zero information on my Pro account now. I’ve reached out to the developers before leaving my review, but haven’t heard back from them. I’m so upset about this, and right before tax season too. Now I have to scramble to recreate all my unpaid invoices, the ones I still need to send out, etc... and find a new app that was as great as Tiny Invoice as well. It really has everything I’m looking for. I’m giving it two stars because up until this happened, I would have given it five stars. If this is a technical error and my information can be recovered, I’ll be removing this review. Until then, I feel I need to warn others of what can happen.
Love this App!
I have a very small seasonal business and I don’t earn enough to spend it on an to keep track of money in and out. This app does it for me and it’s free! Really easy to use and I can send pics with my invoices as well as send duplicates to my email. Would be nice to send an invoice/estimate/bill without prices to a customer and if they want a break down I could select that option and send a new one. It would also be good if in the app I can put my cost of the item and what I make on each sale. I will continue to use the app and watch it grow and improve. When I have a question, I email the people who made it and they return with a response in a day or two.
“So far so good” this app has help a start up with little to no start up budget look professional to my clients I am interested to see how long these guys keep up the good work and interested in seeing what’s next. This past year I have travelled a lot doing contract jobs for conventions and small events “Tiny Invoice” has helped me keep up with quick changes and add ones from my clients, making expense reports, and travel time “Tiny Invoice” is awesome even on the fly my only improvement suggestion would be the sync of info between IPhone and IPad does not sync very well so I just go with the iPad mostly when we do site visits but when a client needs info from me right away my iPhone is best so if the sync between the two is a bit stronger a definite Five stars from me
Was great, terrible now
I’ve been using this app since March 2018 and have found it to be incredibly useful… until the last update. I entered time and expense to create an invoice this weekend. When I was done with the invoice I previewed it and when I closed the preview I was logged out of the app. Upon logging back in, the invoice I had created was gone as were the time and expense entries. Today I reentered the same time and expense and recreated the invoice. Upon completion I once again previewed the invoice and once again the app logged me out. When the app finally relaunched it had erased everything I had entered since March. 8 months of time and expense from multiple projects. I have reached out to support in hopes that they can help me retrieve this info. So far their response has not been promising. I’m hoping they will come through and when they do I will update this review. Until then I cannot recommend this app as a secure and trustworthy business tool.
Simple Yet Professional
I have been using Tiny Invoice for about a year. I prefer Tiny Invoice over the invoice program in QuickBooks. This app has a few different templates to choose from, and allows me to upload my company logo, which adds to the professionalism. I like the stamped paid feature I can add for my records and for my clients after they pay me. The invoice duplicate feature is very handy so that I don’t have to create an invoice from scratch every time. The sales report tools are nice as well and easy to export to an excel sheet. Customization is easy and can make your estimates or invoices very simplified or as full as much detail you could ever need. Thanks creators of Tiny Invoice!
Very professional and easy to use
I started the general construction company several years ago. I struggled looking for an application to do my invoicing that would also keep track of my progress and customer contact list. I’ve been using this app for a little over three years and I have zero complaints. Very easy to use and provides a professional look for my customers. I’m also able to save my sales progress and log customers information. I have since tried other invoicing apps but they do not compare. If you’re on the fence on which one to use, get this one. Stay organized. You and your customers will be happy.
It just works!
I was looking for a simple app to do invoicing the didn't involve a monthly fee so I gave Tiny invoice a try ... and I haven’t looked back. Many invoicing apps are bloated and built in a way that makes if difficult to make changes to your information. With Tiny Invoice if you want to change the date, amount, name, address, or anything on an invoice you can just do it, before, during or after you have created it. It saves it just like you want it. You never have to start over because you made a mistake. And it’s fast. My only wish is that you could text the invoice when done. Right now all you can do is email it. What a find!!!
I was clumsy learning to use it but man! This is awesome for my catering business. All my menu items are in one place and its push-of-a-button easy!! Suddenly invoices are on hand all the time. Estimates are available on the fly. So so easy. Update: her we are, a year or so later, and we still love it. We use the clover for the restaurant purchases and this for catering when people need to turn in an invoice. They’ve updated the app so that an email is needed in the customer field to send the invoice, but I usually just put my own in, and forward from my own email. Sometimes, you just don’t have a customers email address.
A Small Business Owners Worst Nightmare
I initially loved this app. Used it for a complete month. It was on auto renew, and of all days for it to not work, during my busy time of the year. It kept up with sales, customers and their purchases, and even expenses!! I was super excited. Today I went in to create a new invoice and a message kept popping up saying to renew or restore subscription. I went in Muriel’s times and updated, renewed, resubscribed, updated app.... and nothing........I then decided to log out and log back in, and now it is saying my account, which is only a month old never existed.😱😱😱 Good thong I downloaded all the excel files and screen shooted all my customers and invoices or I’d be screwed. I don’t like the fact there is no support available and when I went to submit a new password it took me to a Website that was not secured, nor do they have an actual website.

Tiny invoice has made the process of generating invoices so easy! The process that was once an annoying task has become more of something that I look forward to. The templates available make it easy to send professional invoices with minimal effort. The app remembers the jobs and prices for easy input for any future jobs, links to my email to send them off, and is an all around joy to use. Normally I hate when apps leave prompts for me to review the product but I was more than happy to take time out to review this app. Easily my favorite invoice app that I've come across, EVER!
This app is almost great, but a few things leave it wanting, hence a 3 star rating. Almost all the issues revolve around syncing. Sync is soooooo sloooooow. It takes forever sometimes, even on gigabit wifi. I suggest that If sync is going to be that slow, ad a sync indicator so you can tell it is syncing. Also, it needs to sync the business settings over. Otherwise you have to manually recreate the templates on each device. Some things are a bit unpolished, like it forces you to enter data in some fields before you can cancel. Finally, I cannot tell how to add more than one business (I’d like to track several non profits on this). Other than that, this is a beautiful app that is simple and easy to use. :-)
This app has really helped me be more responsible by seeing how much money I’m bringing in, and which invoices have not yet been paid. I am now able to follow-up and enforce my policy of payment within 30 days. It has really helped me be so much more organized - I’m not a large enough business to do something like Quickbooks and honestly I like this better anyways!! I own a small piano tuning and repair business that I’m growing into a full-time business, and this has just taken me to the next level with Rey tidy, professional looking invoices and estimates. Love this app! Thank you Tiny Invoice!
This app is a breeze! It’s so easy to send off invoices as soon as I finish with a client! Many times I write it up when I get back in my car! One of the features that help me the most is being able to easily look and see what invoices are still outstanding by client. I love that everything is so easy to set up and saved so I can create an invoice quickly. One thing I’d like is to be able to text an invoice. My favorite feature is being able to send an attachment. I’m a Home Stager so I can send before- after pictures and also copies of receipts if need be.
