It’s not worth it. A lot of times the application is not even completed and they still require additional steps from the user. To make matters worse, the weekly subscription is extremely expensive and the jobs often aren’t even related to what you are asking for. I don’t know if Sprout used to be better and had gotten worse, but it should not be rated so high. Oftentimes, it runs out of available jobs very quickly. I had over 150 unused jobs/swipes when my subscription ran out, and they never even allowed me to finish them. They just took away the remaining swipes and charged me for the whole week. Maybe in a better job market Sprout would be worth it, but right now it’s garbage. You are better off getting an app like simplify to do applications faster. Plus, that extension is FREE!

Marketed as a “get a job quick with this simple app!” piece of software, when really it’s counterintuitive to try to use in the first place.

Sprout charges you $30 a WEEK for only 250 applications. That’s right. $30 weekly for a LIMITED amount of applications.

Not only this, but the vast majority of the reviews being positive are falsely advertised, as Sprout asks you to rate it BEFORE ever using it, and before ever charging you, and does NOT let you proceed in the process of setting up your account unless you state that you have already rated it. There is NO free trial version. You either pay money for an app that MIGHT help you get a job while you’re most likely unemployed, or you don’t use it at all. Move on and find something else.

Sprout does not work, I purchased the option with the most applications yet Sprout did not give me nearly enough of jobs to apply to. I think from the total of 250 applications i had, only 20 were submitted successfully. This is a waste of time, every day i came and refreshed Sprout for my jobs and it would constantly say 0 jobs. I didnt even get what i paid for because I had 230 applications i could use left and since my week expired (with no jobs), Sprout kicked me out so I could no longer use the applications i paid for. Didnt even get any interviews and most applications failed to be submitted on Sprout . Do not waste your time. Indeed is better. 0 STARS

Don’t bother spending your money, half the time you application fails to go through and it doesn’t even give you an option to reapply. The search function is annoying to use, can’t search jobs based on key words only jobs titles that are already in the system, which I feel like is missing out on a lot of potential jobs. When applying to jobs it makes up an email for you and doesn’t use your actual email which I feel can deter potential recruiters based on your email which can look like a bot/spam email.

I saw this on a bunch of TikTok videos which I should have known it wouldn’t be real, I had it since May 5 first week $6.99 then in May 12 it was $9.99 plus taxes, Sprout didn’t even show potential job related to my career and it will run out of job recommendations quickly, on May 17 I decided to cancel it and that same day they had already charged me for next week’s which makes no sense. I try to used today take the last time to make my one week subscription worth and it wouldn’t let me. Don’t fall for those videos and save your money

Paid for one week and did not like Sprout . Now I have been trying to cancel my subscription. When I go manage my subscription, there is a box to verify one’s email and then they would send you a link. Input my email like 10 times and never got one. Went to the support option to chat with someone. It’s been hours and still no technical support. Emailed them and still haven’t gotten a response. Reported them to bank since it’s been two days without no assistant from the “support team”.

I downloaded Sprout based off of an ad I saw on tik tok, enjoyed it at first, the swiping was easy and the jobs were okay I guess, they didn’t really meet my filters but it was fine I guess. HOWEVER, Sprout randomly deleted/logged me out and would not let me log in afterwards, and there is no “forgot password” button nor the ability to send any verification emails. So I lost all the jobs I applied to and would have to REPAY and REMAKE and account when I had already paid for a full week. Ridiculous. No thanks.

This is a good app for the most part. Finding jobs to swipe on is good, but the filtering could use some work. I specifically listed I was looking for mechanical engineering roles, but I kept getting information for software development.

Also, follow-up emails do not get sent to my personal email. If I apply for a job, I get the notification through my email. However, I was invited for an interview for one of the jobs, and I could only access the email through Sprout . Even then, I didn’t have the opportunity to reply.

Also, the weekly subscription is a bit weird. Why not just do a monthly subscription instead? I’d rather pay more up front than have microstansactions.

I hope to see these issues fixed!

I’ve never had that many recruiter calls so fast lol I never rly do app reviews but Sprout lowkey saved my life. I was so dreaded being an international student trying to work in the US. Usually I apply to jobs and just get ghosted, but I found Sprout on TikTok and it rly changed the whole experience of job application for me. It feels FUN to swipe on jobs and I didn’t have to worry or spend like an hour filling out each applications over and over again. And within the first 3 days I had like 5 interview requests no cap. It’s like the AI actually knows what companies are looking for. Best decision I made all year.

I’ve been using prep ai for about a month, and it’s already saved me so much time and effort. Like I don’t wanna remember just how many times I had to select my name, gender, race, name, experiences again and again on job boards. Literally crashed out every day until my friend told me about Sprout. I was applying to around 50 jobs every day on prep ai and it would only take me like 10 min to do, AND I DON’T HAVE TO REPEAT ALL THE INFO AGAIN AND AGAIN. So yeah god bless Sprout and i’ve gotten a good amount of interviews from it already and secured a summer internship (still looking for another part-time tho wish me luck)

I found Prep AI on TikTok and it's actually one of the only AI career apps that I continue to use. I've gotten around 10 interviews from Sprout and applied to around 200 jobs. Overall rly solid! The only thing is sometimes the filters aren't as good so it actually filtered out some of the postings that I wanted, so I suggest maybe making the filter system a bit more general so I can find more jobs! But overall I rly like Sprout and I'll totally recommend it to someone who's deep in the job search lol

The worst part about job hunting is the endless scrolling through job boards, trying to find something that’s not a scam or asking for 5+ years of experience for an entry-level role. Sprout made it so simple. I just put in my filters, swipe on jobs I vibe with, and it applies for me. I didn’t even have to write a cover letter. A few days later, I got an email saying a company wanted to interview me. This is how job hunting should be.

Bro Sprout is actually insane. I used to spend HOURS filling out job applications, and now I just swipe and PrepAl does the rest. It's like Tinder but for jobs, except you actually get matches that matter lol Got three interviews in a week. WILD. No more job application burnout. This is the only way l'm applying to jobs from now on

Sprout is incredible. The worst part about trying to find an internship or job is the research process. Sprout made it so easy for me to find and apply to jobs by just swiping through. It feels like a game!!!
