Whiteboard: just draw together Reviews

I like Whiteboard it’s simple just like a this app. You can change the color of the background and there’s an eraser and a “marker” (or drawing utensil) which you can change sizes of. Then there’s also a about six different colors you can choose to draw in. There’s a couple things I would add,
1) It would be helpful to be able to move objects that I had drawn, to different parts of the screen. (ex. I drew a couch but now I want to move the couch to another part of the room that I had drawn, without having to erase it and then draw it all over again in a different area. Or some type of copy/paste option.
2)Also use of The entire color wheel to choose from would be nice. (There is a color wheel but maybe I just can’t figure it out?)
Other than that it’s great! You can save your drawing to your photos too. Also easy enough for a child to use to entertain them etc. overall it’s great, very easy, basic and useful.

I’ve really loved using the White Board app- the rainbow marker is so much fun. I hop on here to doodle throughout the day so it’s been a really nice mental health break and a way of breaking bad habits on my phone (I’ve replaced checking social media with doodling on white board). I think Whiteboard could improve by making it possible to lock your screen when you’re using it (not infrequently when I’m in the middle of drawing my phone will misunderstand and send me back to my home screen because I happened to brush across the screen in a certain way). And another fun suggestion would be more rainbow brushes with different pallets (like pastel or earth tones)or even the colors in a different order. Overall though, this is a really fun app and I’ve been recommending it to other friends who I think would appreciate regular access to a a small but meaningful creative outlet.

My boyfriend lives at college 3 hrs away. I often leave him sweet messages and doodles using iPhone’s Digital Touch feature. However, the more intricate the doodle is, the more likely the phone feature is to freeze up on me and close out, so I often had to restart my doodle. I wanted an app that was simple and easy enough to navigate, but effective enough to do my favorite feature Digital Touch does, which is doodling. Whiteboard does that, plus way more:) It definitely makes it easier for me to express my affection towards my boyfriend while he’s gone!<3

The developer is very quick and responsive to updates, improvements and fixes/bugs. This is a great this app app that gives a little more than super basic features, but not overly complicated or complex. This great for professors and teachers. If you need a drawing/artist/painting app that is super complex and complicated and loaded with hundreds of options, then Whiteboard is not for you. Keep shopping and pay expensive premium prices. Otherwise, this is your “go to” app for teaching and business meetings. Thank you Jim for creating an awesome app.

I use it for teaching remotely. Really well done. Simple app, easy to use. No uneeded bells and whilstles! Well done and thank you!

The one thing I would suggest is having seperate size settings for the eraser and pen. When I'm drawing I almost always want the pen small. When I'm erasing I want a big eraser. It takes a while to toggle between the two because not only do you have to switch the tool, you have to switch the size as well. Could the tool remember the last size that was used?

Ok, I would give Whiteboard 5 stars. But the thing is that there is no fill button. If we had that, it could go with eraser and pencil. Because when I am bored and just drawing, I can only fill the WHOLE this app. I want to draw a box, and then be able to fill it in quick instead of drawing in it and me making it look bad. I just think that maybe that would make it better, and here’s how I think you should be able to fill: Hold down your finger for 5 seconds on a certain spot. then It would fill. Also, please make the logo a paint bucket for the fill option. And if you do add this, I want to say Thank you!

I've only used it a short time, but the interface is simple and easy to use. One feature that I would like is for adding an image to draw on. Currently it seems you can only select an image from your Photos application. I want to just drop a random picture into the this app without having to add it to my photos first. Also, since I would be sharing this on a live stream, I don't want all my Photos to be displayed while I am trying to select the image to add to the this app.

I was trying to find an extremely simple piece of software to sketch ideas onto my Macbook Pro via Wacom tablet, and most software seemed to be either too heavy, ad-ridden, or expensive. Whiteboard is perfect for simple sketching/note-taking!

There was a recommendation I had for the developer, who actually very quickly responded and incorporated into the next update which is unheard of. Will certainly send a tip to the dev for this awesome piece of software. 5 stars!

I love this program and use it while teaching my students from home every single day! The only desire I have for it would be to be able to click one button to erase the whole screen. I can’t seem to contact the author through email but if someone would contact him to make that change I would be grateful. The pen sizes were just changed and that helps a bunch too. This is an amazing app! 14 colors, 1 of which is rainbow!, SWITCHABLE CANVAS, useful buttons, and quick erase! Although there is 1 problem, the pictures pretty much take up the whole screen. You can’t flip picture sizes to add 2+ pictures, which would make me like it more. This is a great substitute for the “this app junior doodle pad” app which constantly crashes after a few uses or 1 use on a phone. Thank you for Whiteboard! 4.8 stars

Very simple to use my 7 year old girl loves to use a dry erase board until Whiteboard it’s very similar but easier to use on the go plus less mess no markers or eraser to keep up with no worries about getting marker on the furniture all the colors she uses and able to send her drawings to her friends or save them to photo library all around wonderful app give it a try and see for yourself

Zero learning curve, use it instantly, integrates with everything, shake to erase is handy, enough layers of undo for quick things, perfect b/c it’s so straightforward and simple. Agree with previous reviewer that a paint bucket fill tool would frequently be handy, but varied brush sizes alleviate some fill situations, so even without a bucket/fill, Whiteboard is so handy it’s a must-have. Should come as a basic necessity on every device.

I used Whiteboard for the first time today in a classroom of 2nd graders. It was easy enough to navigate and explain all of the features to them. The kids absolutely loved it! I like how they can airdrop me photos of their screens, too.

I had an issue (user error) and Jim was very responsive in helping me fix the problem. Overall, I highly recommend Whiteboard.

I love this game so you should try Whiteboard please open up your AppStore and get it please I hope you can like it bye bye i love the game because you can play your own music and draw and you can open up the game and you still have your drawing and it’s a great game to play when you are so bored and you can play on the game when your on a car trip

I find Whiteboard to be great and quite useful for sorting out my thoughts but I would like to request the addition of an option to fade or remove the option bars to work with a little more space. Due to my handwriting at times I would need that little bit of space to fit it right at the edge but cannot due to the hud being there. Other than that suggestion Whiteboard was phenomenal.

Whiteboard is your answer. Let your child create their work of art and you can capture it in your photos and print it later. Bright vivid colors, with shake to erase capability. I recommend Whiteboard for this child in all of us.

I just downloaded Whiteboard because I was looking for something simple to play with. I can’t draw really but I love to try and I love to “copy” others’ drawings - I love to mimic their talent. I absolutely love to watch people draw. Anyway this is the best app for someone like me. It’s so easy and user friendly and not cluttered with other features I can’t use.

Hi I love this game so much I’m only 7 years old I was afraid that I couldn’t play this game but I would like you to make it a little better you would make it better because if you added a bigger brush painting for painting and if you could choose your brush like you could say you could change your brush to a pencil you can change your brush to a paintbrush thank you anyways!!!

There are 3 problems/feedbacks for Whiteboard "this app".
1st: It doesn't let me add photos unless it's from Whiteboard "Photos".
2nd: I think it only lets you add one photo or no more than 1 photo from Whiteboard "Photos".
3rd: Does it let you download your drawing? No, I don't think so.

Sometimes I am trying to make a big thing without making The Whole page the color of the thing. My idea is a pencil and you surround a area with the pencil than a list of colors would pop up, choose a color and the area you surrounded with the pencil would become that color! Idea by circeallen76 * Tennessee *( - - ) I think it would be helpful and I hope others agree! If anyone sees this and agrees with me pls copy and paste everything I wrote before “ * Tennessee * “ and post it! We need pencil! We need pencil!

Say ur friend texted u, “Hi” you could open the this app app and draw on there text, so maybe they say, “hey I don’t agree “ you could just doodle over “Don’t” it would be fun to just color over texts, I know it takes time to do this but please consider this!!!

Whiteboard lacks the bells and whistles of most of the other drawing apps. But that is what makes it perfect for kids. In the good old days you just picked up a marker and went to town on a piece of paper. Your parents didn’t hand you a calligraphy set to draw with. I love that this just works. It is a clean interface without distractions - just like the good old days.

My kids love drawing on Whiteboard. It keeps it simple, so there is less frustration for those who are just learning how to use electronics. I haven’t found a better drawing app for kids.

My favorite feature is the ability to send drawings back and forth with other people using iMessage.

Now, I wrote the review about how to color the background. This update really makes things better. You get to redo and undo things! You can also change If you want to colored thing your using to change it’s shape! It’s amazing! Great job

I am starting to teach online lessons and this this app app seems to do just the trick! Only thing is I wish I didn’t have to drag my finger to dot my I’s - no response from a single tap as a real marker would. Love Whiteboard otherwise!

I downloaded this to play with creating digital drawings. Very easy to use. Love the way I can bring in a photo as well to annotate. Can think of lots of ways for my students to use this in the classroom...

Make sure to add a tap to color system where you can find a paint button and just tap to color it automatically.
