You subscribe to Hula and then you can’t alACTUALLY make videos without paying more money for every single video. You’re just paying for nothing unless you like the idea of subscribing to gain the ability to pay each time you make a 5-10 second little video. I feel so, stupid and taken advantage of…this is the same as stealing. I asked for my money back and I doubt they will honor my request because they designed Hula scam ppl into thinking u can subscribe and then make videos but, you can’t. Not without giving zMORE AND MORE MONEY. These kinds of apps should be illegal and I don’t understand why Apple allows these things on here…I assume it’s bc they confuse capitalism with making thievery acceptable…just please, save your money and just set it on fire. Video tape that…it’ll be worth a lot more. I give Hula zero stars bc it’s not an app as much as just a scam do, yeah zero stars and a lot of regrets.
Well, it wouldn’t let me give zero stars…I had to give it one to submit this review but, that is not my true rating. Zero stars.

Once you pay for Hula subscription. You also have to pay to make videos and pictures. Even if they don’t turn out good, you still pay. Horrible app.

They also try to get you to rate Hula as soon as you pay for the subscription before even using it smh.

After buying a subscription for a year I make two pictures then the third one they’re trying to charge me to make them on allow me to make anymore unless I pay more that’s a crock since I pay for a year Not worth the money

It is not very easily found where it says you are limited as to how many edits you can make but the ones that are on the main screen-they make you pay extra for even after paying for the subscription

So once you buy Hula , you have to continue to spend and load up to actually use it. The worst part is that it is horrible and whatever pics you upload, in the end are super fake looking

Pro subscription doesn’t provide much. You get ONE clip per day - and you also get to submit just one photo per creation so the chance of it looks remotely like you is slim. AND of course, you have to wait a whole 24 hours to try your luck again (with something you already paid for)

Not even worth it if it was free, I paid 6.99 tried a bunch of different AI videos and pictures looks very unrealistic, and if you have tattoos, it will scramble or inflate your tattoo. The videos have issues a lot of times it doesn’t work even when you follow their parameter. I do not recommend it.

Look at the responses the 1 star reviews get from this developer. It says everything. This developer or company will certainly go under. Bad business. Stupid business. Terrible app. You'll regret giving them $1 even.

Even after you subscribe, you still have to pay to generate anything and the videos it generates are worthless and awful. Its a scam. You can accomplish what they do free with many AI apps. Don't bother with this one because it doesn't do a good job even when you do fork over a bunch of money.

And if you notice below, even this company’s reply is shady and does not care about the customer experience. The response I got to this review doesn't make me want to change it from 1 star to 5. Instead id give it ZERO stars if I could. They got their money. Instead of changing the way they operate to make sure all these customers leaving negative reviews have a better experience, instead they respond with “you should've read the small print. If you don’t that's your problem. We already got money from you and thousands of other fools.”

Don't waste your money. To put salt on the wound it does a terrible job even when you do shell over more money. Don't waste your time or money. You'll regret it.

Despite giving clear portraits , none of the videos or photos looked like me. If I could generate one good video or 2-3 good pictures then it would be worth the money. With that being said they’ll be refunding my money and I’ll come back to Hula in about a year to see if anything changes

Not offering a free trial should have been my first clue that Hula is a scam. You pay a subscription and you only get one video a week or one photo or whatever. I will be reporting Hula to Apple and hopefully they remove it, even though Apple seems to allow scammers, i’m going to report it anyway, since the reviews are so bad maybe Apple will finally remove it.

I couldn’t generate anything until a purchase. No trial. After purchase, I generated 1 video that didn’t look like me. I went to generate another and use a different photo, though the first one was an excellent professionally taken face forward image, and it said I reached my limit. You only get 1 video a week despite if they got it wrong. There are options to purchase additional videos on top of the original purchase, which feels so deceiving and slimy.

Why do I need to pay before use? They might as well just put a price there instead of saying “get” like Hula is free. There’s a difference between “in-app subscriptions” and having to buy it from the beginning.

What should have happened is either (1) you cannot save your stuff until you subscribe (2) you limit how much you create per day before subscribing (3) or have daily credits to max out before subscribing

Everyone knows we have to try new Ai out now before purchase. Because mostly we are still learning to trust Ai.

I just subscribed and made one video I went back to make a second video and it tried charging 4.99 for 5 videos or 2 videos for 2.99 i believe and I had just subscribed to a 6.99 weekly subscription and I only made one video and it’s a money pit I do not recommend Hula I have also reached out through the help section numerous times and still haven’t received a response to any of my emails I gave it another chance again today and they turned right around and beat me out of my video usage then tried charging me more money after only making one video for a 6.99 weekly subscription Hula is a money pit they created it to beat you out of your money it isn’t even a monthly usage just weekly and yearly or charge as u go once again it’s a money pit

Please be cautious, I downloaded Hula and paid $30 for a year after creating my first AI video. However, Hula prompted me to pay again, and the video I created was of poor quality. It was an unpleasant experience overall. I strongly advise against downloading Hula.

However, this is an intentional psychological trap—once you try to dismiss it, you’re kept in a cycle where Hula continuously brings you back to the same point, forcing you into a position where you’re psychologically inclined to accept one of the paid plans. As a former developer in Silicon Valley, I can say with certainty that this is a deliberate tactic designed to manipulate users into paying without offering a real alternative. It’s insidious, creating a false sense of choice while actually offering none.

This advertises certain effects that DO NOT exist in Hula . Don’t be fooled into a purchase.

Incredible ai photo generator, I just can’t stop experimenting. Not sure about all the bad reviews. Works fine for me!

Worst ai app ever. It shouldn’t be on there since it tries to act as if there’s a free option. Nothing you can get without paying.

Great anime styles! You can animate any photo and recreate any style!And lots more for pictures. Of course it’s not free, but it’s cool
