Very helpful but room for improvement

This is fantastic for providing daily schedules and activities and dining menus as well as deck plans. The chat function is great for keeping in touch but unfortunately it only vibrates and does not have a sound alert and so I missed many messages. Also, for some reason, at times I would get a notification saying that the person is "away" and the message would not be delivered even though they had their phone on. It would be very nice to be able to view future days' menus and activities as only the current day is displayed. As others have said, it would be very helpful to be able to view your room charges and also to make new reservations in it. Although we were told by cruise personnel it would work in the ports (as we left children in day care while we went to shore) it does not work on land in ports. Also, the "Help" section is worthless as it's just a few basic instructions and there's no search function and in order to get help you have to go to the IT desk which only has limited hours. However, I can't imagine functioning on board without DisneyCruiseLineNavigator--our last Disney cruise was years ago on The Big Red Boat before Wi-Fi or cell phones even existed and this provided a tremendous improvement in the cruise experience. This review is from our January, 2018 cruise.

Still Needs Work

I’ve had DisneyCruiseLineNavigator since the days of the old fashioned suitcase which displayed the number of days left before the cruise. I’ve also been on 5 cruises (Iceland, Alaska, etc.) so I’m not a novice. The ultimate goal is to get rid of the daily paper navigator, which is an admirable goal. Here’s what needs work: still having to go in person to sign up for brunches, tastings, etc. Each time I’ve had to sign up in person, because DisneyCruiseLineNavigator shows no availability only to discover there was lots of slots still to be had. Palo was deserted and we had six people in our bourbon tasting. When the cruise is short, this time trying to book is burning my vacation time. Secondly, the ribbon that shows “Daily activities, character greetings, etc,” does not have a left swipe arrow to indicate that banner moves. I talked to others who didn’t realize this as well. The WiFi signup should coincide with the final setting up DisneyCruiseLineNavigator on board. There should be a prompt that indicates this as a next step. Don’t send me a long sheet of paper about the WiFi when DisneyCruiseLineNavigator could automatically do this and start the clock on the 50 mg of WiFi. Also, get DisneyCruiseLineNavigator to do little drop downs asking you to sign up for your placeholder on DisneyCruiseLineNavigator . Several new folks thought they had to go to the desk to do this. Keep working on this. I have faith in the design group! Put me in the testing group!

Disney Cruise App comments

We sure found DisneyCruiseLineNavigator to be useful and a lifeline to communicate with our party of 6 on the Fantasy ship. The texting function was very good most of the time. The two comments I’d make are that occasionally you are out of range and don’t get the messages right away...understandable on a huge ship. The second comment is more a request for an improvement. It would be helpful to have a time stamp when the messages are sent. Given that communications were intermittent sometimes, you could get a delayed message thinking that it was current. For example, “we are at the pool now.” By the time you got the message, it was after lunch and they were back at the room.
We loved the current activities that highlighted all the activities from the current time forward. You could be reminded that you needed to leave soon to participate or see things you hadn’t noticed on the daily navigator. The deck plans were helpful too, to help you get somewhere quickly. The kids had fun with the countdown character clock to see how long it was until Cruise day, too.

Re app and ways to improve

DisneyCruiseLineNavigator was a little tricky to navigate especially hard to figure out when you don’t have access until on board for all of the navigator. Would have been easier to plan out events if I could have had an idea of what to expect and tried using DisneyCruiseLineNavigator at home first. Also on the daily activities there Should be away to not only see your favorites but also to show things you want to do as a must do. For ex maybe have an additional option to place a star on all the events you want to do and use the heart for the ones you must do. Bc I chose a lot of option for my favorites but it was hard to remember which ones were the ones that I didn’t want to miss.
Also room service items should list more clearly what is available to get episode mentioned getting cheese platters and stuff it would be nice to know what all the options were and if any breakfast items were available And those items that cost additional should list the price. Lastly in case of an emergency there should be a way on phone that directs u to the muster area we went all over our ship on day 1 lost trying to find F. Very confusing if I needed to get there I would never be able to find my way. Just my thoughts.

Great DCL App!

I discovered DisneyCruiseLineNavigator one year ago and I made my entire family download it for the next Disney Cruise. The best use for DisneyCruiseLineNavigator is when you are on the cruise, you can communicate through DisneyCruiseLineNavigator with your stateroom mates. DCL provides 2 “wave phones” per stateroom for your family to communicate with each other. The wave phones are out-of-date, a very short battery, and if you lose it, there is ~$150 replacement fee. DisneyCruiseLineNavigator also gives you notifications about events that are going on in the ship. Those are great if there is a BINGO game that you do not want to miss. The 2nd use that DisneyCruiseLineNavigator is good for are the deck maps. If you are not familiar with the Disney Cruise ships, you can go on DisneyCruiseLineNavigator to see each deck map. My first cruise I did not have DisneyCruiseLineNavigator and I was disoriented most of the time. The 3rd reason is when you book a cruise, you can enter the date of you cruise and you are able to see a countdown to your next cruise. I cannot recommend DisneyCruiseLineNavigator enough. If you are a 1st Time DCL cruiser or if this is your 10th, DisneyCruiseLineNavigator will help you relax a little bit more during your vacation.

Lackluster

Compared to the Disney’s park app, the Disney Cruise app is lacking. We just returned from Halloween on the High Seas and found DisneyCruiseLineNavigator to not be as updated as the paper navigator you receive in your stateroom each day. The parks app has so much integration in terms of scheduling dining, fast-passes, viewing photos, etc... DisneyCruiseLineNavigator just feels “empty”. We found that several event times such as fireworks, were not accurate on DisneyCruiseLineNavigator compared to the paper navigator. This is odd since the one bright spot of DisneyCruiseLineNavigator is the alert system. We were alerted that our glass bottom boat tour was cancelled due to weather early in the day which we appreciated since we were able to make other plans. Having said that, another alert popped up right before the scheduled time of the boat tour saying it was still happening. We just so happened to be in the right spot on Castaway Cay to check on the tour only to find out that it was still cancelled. Ironically, the weather was perfect at that point and had been for most of the day even though it was a little breezy and overcast in the morning. Odd.

Again, overall, it seems like Disney needs to overhaul DisneyCruiseLineNavigator and my suggestion would be to take the lead of the parks app where applicable. Disney people like to plan. DisneyCruiseLineNavigator should help you do so.

An info must on a Disney cruise

Good app I give it a 3.5 to 4 star rating. It's great in that it gives you all the information about everything onboard the ship. You get daily port info, spa info, movie info, ship maps, dinning menus, activities info, and info on everything/anything you could need. It's good (not great) for communicating with others on the ship via text. Unfortunately, the texting capability is not nearly as good as it could be. You cannot edit text groups once you have created the group. In order to add a new person to the group you have to start a new group. Editing groups at this point is a basic and DisneyCruiseLineNavigator should have it. To get text notifications, you have to keep DisneyCruiseLineNavigator open/running. If DisneyCruiseLineNavigator is closed you will not get a notification that you have a message and the person texting you will receive a message saying that you are "away". DisneyCruiseLineNavigator would be a 5+++ if the items mentioned above were fixed and if you could do the following. 1. Some kind of calling/talking like a skype or FaceTime type of call. 2. send pictures and your location on the ship. It's a good app but could easily be a GREAT app.

Fantastico

My finance and I are blessed to have had this wonderful adventure aboard the Fantasy Halloween Cruise on the High Seas, October 16-24th. Everything was absolutely perfect, except for disembarking without our coffee flavored tequila, which, the ship did not deliver back to our room. Unfortunately, Disney did not send us a reminder to pick it up before departure. It has now been four days and we have not received notification regarding this. We did attempt to contact Disney. cruise line and the port. It is impossible to reach them by phone. The recording should give a wait time. We waited over 1 hour and never spoke to anyone. I sincerely hope Disney will improve their phone system and
improve the communication between the passengers and crew as far as retrieving confiscated alcoholic beverages.
Other than that, the cruise and excursions were fabulous. Disney took all precautions to protect us from harm. We look forward to future cruises as we are DVC members
Best regards,
Anita and George

Very useful - great reference

DisneyCruiseLineNavigator is very beneficial to know what is happening when and where. The location and hours of everything is a definite plus. It is fairly easy to use. However it would be better if it was more adaptable. For example, would be great to be able to message certain areas - spa, guest services, kids club. This would help with questions that don't need an immediate answer. You definitely should be able to add in your scheduled appointments for the spa, princess gathering, sports simulator, etc. It should give you more flexibility with the schedule so you can add in your individual events. Messaging you serving staff would be a nice option too. That case if you were not going to dinner, needed to special order a menu, etc you could message them. I think that would make it easier on guests and staff.

The only issue we encountered was lack of signal or connection at times. There is a delay sometimes in receiving the messages too.

DisneyCruiseLineNavigator is much better than using the paper navigator. I love DisneyCruiseLineNavigator but would love it even more with the improvements I mentioned.

Useful but limited

It works well onboard but no connection as you exit the ship. There is no search feature for people, activities, and crew. No way to send an emergency message and no emergency contact numbers for the port master or guest services. It has most information from the Daily newsletter of activities but does not always match the printed version. Don't know which one was right. Information is incomplete--such as where to get a mid-day snack which are often available in Cove, keys, the pub, and promenade. It would also be useful if your shore excursions and spa/Palo reservation reminders appeared on DisneyCruiseLineNavigator or allowed you to add them. Would also have liked to see the names of my servers, host, etc. so I could remember them faster. Yet it does have activities categorized by interest or restriction (e.g.,adults only) which is quite useful, you can save items as favorites--for which you receive 15 min reminders, and you can see all the upcoming activates and dining dress for the entire cruise . It's a huge advance from having to use walk abouts like we did 15 years ago, but it still has some maturing to do before I would call it a great tool.

My cruise

I would like to speak on my first Disney cruise. The dates were from November 4-8th on the Magic. This was me and my husband’s first trip without the kids. A week prior we were offered an upgrade to concierge. This level of service was sincerely needed and appreciated as working parents that don’t get or make enough time for ourselves. Unbeknownst to us who have never experienced concierge service before, yet only on a Disney cruise, the experience was priceless! The staff from start to finish was exemplary! The cleanliness was impeccable! The food was indulgent! The staff knew us by name everywhere we traveled throughout the ship. The ship was not crowded at all and didn’t once feel overwhelmed or uncomfortable with the procedures to various functions and services throughout the ship. Needless to say that we have planned another cruise with concierge and will continue to rave to any and everyone about our wonderful experience! We highly recommend Disney cruise line with concierge!

Phenomenal, must have App

Once you’re aboard ship and connected to the ship WiFi, DisneyCruiseLineNavigator becomes active. It gives you access to the daily Navigator, with all of the daily activity schedules aboard ship. It also gives you access to the dining menus, hours for onboard locations and so on. It’s great to be able to find out the current happenings wherever you are aboard ship. You may also forget where something is taking place or want to know what’s next at the venue you’re in. It also is nice to sneak a peak at your dining options for that day.

I’d love to see DisneyCruiseLineNavigator more integrated with Web site content. Being able to handle your Port Adventures through it would help. Also being able to access the Navigator while ashore would be a huge help. These are small issues. It’d be nice to see your running bill as well. Yes, it’s supposed to be the Navigator, but seeing this more closely connected with the entire ship experience would make this a 6 Star ... above and beyond Disney service.

Review of first cruise

This was our first Disney cruise and it was all that we dreamed and more. From the moment we arrived at port to when we disembarked, we were made to fell special. When taking the character meet and greets, the cast members for to know us. The schedule of these were sometimes hectic and we did miss Stitch but was great. Jennifer who is from Marishis (spelling is wrong), even knew our state room number. Carlos our state room host met us the first day and greeted us. He introduced hisself, gave us an overview of the days activities and greet each and every time he saw us. Each morning he gave us a quick update of the activities and made sure we had fun. Neurys (spelling) in Mickey main sail made sure we had the best experience possible. All the cast members answered our questions and made sure we had what we needed. Happiness in guest services was the best. She promptly assisted us with anything we needed. Our servers Rhaul and Fredrick table 102 took excellent care of us when we dined nightly.

Winter fun

We had a great time. I have a 6 year old and a 4 year old the fireworks were too late at night for them to stay up after an already very busy day. The beauty and the beast performance was amazing!! Wish we would have seen more photographers on the beach/castaway cay. My mom purchased the big photo package and we didn’t get any photos except when we just got off. We did the pirate ship at Nassau. That too was awesome!! They did a great good with the kids!! Thank you for having an option to get off and not have to go into town with the kids. The extra food options coffee/beer/drinks were very reasonably priced and because of that we were able to enjoy some extra goodies. The amount of characters that we saw on the ship was great. I’m dairy free the desserts were amazing but the dinner selections was ok. Some nights I could order off the regular menu but the chicken/salmon/steak got old very fast. The beds were amazingly comfortable and the towel characters are always cute. We had great time. Thank you!

Unreliable

App stopped working on the 3rd day of my cruise. It was crashing every time I tried to open it. The rest of my review is for the days it worked.
App was not consistently providing notifications. It was nice to have visibility to all available activities and times in DisneyCruiseLineNavigator . Selecting favorite activities and the ability to list them helped with getting a quick glance at the schedule for the day, although I would have preferred for it to actually have an agenda or schedule feature. Connecting with guests in other staterooms for text messaging seemed more difficult than it should, as it required passing a long ID number associated with each other accounts to connect. You could be included in a group conversation but not be able to contact individual members of the group without first getting their long ID number. I understand it is a safety feature, but it would be nice if DisneyCruiseLineNavigator allowed the person in charge of the room to set the available contacts for everybody in the room. We had 4 staterooms and we desisted on trying to set this up for everyone as it felt very time consuming. Overall, it has potential, but we had to go back to the clumsy wave phones for now.

Member Services feedback

My daughter had emergency surgery at home while I was cruising. I relied on the “Contact at Sea” instructions for those at home. While texting and calling was intermittent, my family did get through to member services (they had to give credit card number and were charged a fee for calling) .
When returning from Port I was instructed to see Member Services even though I had already communicated with my family. Member services kindly offered to connect me to my family member. Also on Stateroom door was a message to contact Member Services. Overall I was impressed with the follow through that I received my message. I am confident in this process and gave me piece of mind.
My only regret was upon a hasty departure, I neglected to pack my mini shampoo, lotion, etc. that I wanted to bring my daughter for her hospital stay. I beared no gifts😥 but my motherly love.
Aside from my personal worries, I highly recommend a Disney Cruise and feel the “contact at Sea” process is efficient. Thanks

Absolutely MAGICAL

DisneyCruiseLineNavigator is great! It tells you all about the dinner menus, when the restaurants are open, deck plans, activities and so much more! I loved using DisneyCruiseLineNavigator to check what I wanted to eat for dinner because i usually take forever to pick out my food. I was able to favorite the activities that I wanted to go to later in the day and I would, about 15 minutes before the event, receive a notification telling me that I need to get to the location of the event. The communication part of DisneyCruiseLineNavigator was a bit off as I didn't receive any of the messages my family was sending me when I wasn't on DisneyCruiseLineNavigator , so they got angry when I didn't respond or show up to a meeting place onboard. I also expected to have a way to call others, but there was none of that! :( I loved the little disney emojis they allowed you to use! They were absolutely adorable! (: Besides communication, DisneyCruiseLineNavigator was extremely helpful on this trip! I can't wait to go again soon! (:

Outstanding!

Wow people ^^^, I mean DisneyCruiseLineNavigator provides you with all the information you need while on the ship such as dining info, menus, times of character appearances, movies, activities, kids club itineraries, island info and ports of call info etc. The ship gives you an option to add SeaCast (wifi) to your cell phone carrier plan if you want to talk or FaceTime while aboard for an additional fee. I'm sure this isn't your first rodeo, Royal Caribbean didn't even have an app the last time I cruised. There are wave phones available (a mini cell phone) that you can carry around to talk with other members of your party. Also DisneyCruiseLineNavigator does let you text anyone in your room or another party. Let's not get carried away with wants here and realize that the ship provides a way to stay in touch with your immediate and other parties and doesn't have to do any more or any less than that. This was such a great cruise, and I plan on booking again next year. Great job Disney!

Disney Cruise Fantasy

This is my 3rd Disney cruise! I couldn’t wait to take my husband, it was going to be his first Disney cruise experience! I had been bragging about the food the ship the activities for months! I always request to sit at a group table for dinner, we love meeting other families and this is always very important to me! Before the ship left port I went to the dining room to check with the head waiter just to make sure we had a shared table and was very disappointed to find out we didn’t! They tried to change it but weren’t able to! In the past the food has been top notch, this time every night my fish was over cooked and bland, all except for one night my husband and kids steaks were very good and Palo was AMAZING! We also really enjoyed the Animators Palette, the animation during dinner was really great! The movies, shows and entertainment were a 8 out of 10 and the ports of call were very nice, especially castaway cay! The value for the money just wasn’t there for me this time but will go again some day I’m sure!

Best Vacation

I am 75 yrs old and my first cruise and to be on The Disney Dream was my dream come true. On the 24th when our bus carried us to meet the ship I was in oh of the size and the number of people getting on. From the welcome the crew gave us to the farewell they gave us I felt like the most important person there. Our stateroom was for me being being disable, what a room. So much room, two port wholes. Large bathrooms. I had a pink scooter and everyone loved my scooter. We were treated so special at our meals . Lenox and Zolton were the best. We were treated like family. They made us feel special every time. Then Pong was our hostess and we were given a surprise welcome each night when we came back to our rooms to sleep, he was our family also. Coming back to real life was hard to come back to. Our dream on the Dream was the best vacation this 75 yr old Meme ever had. Thank you Disney Cruise. From Brenda Solmon

I absolutely LOVE DCL!!

The staff is AMAZING on DCL. This is my 3rd cruise and the longest cruise I’ve taken so far. I took advantage of the onboard perks to leaving a placeholder deposit. I love that there is a ship out of San Diego and I don’t have to hassle with a flight. Our stateroom hostess Doneta was the sweetest. She was always so pleasant and friendly. And then there was our dining team.. OMG!! They were by far my favs. Art (from the Philippines) was so awesome. Our first night of dining was at Animators Palate and I LOVED the pasta truffles (appetizers) and that night Lena brought me a second serving. Then our second night dining was at Tiana’s Place, which is my fav! I just love the atmosphere and energy. When it was time to remove my appetizer plate Art asked if I didn’t like it. I said it was good but no pasta truffles. Next thing I knew he brought me some from Animators Palete. Ramiro was so awesome and remembered our favorite drinks for dinner. Our glasses were always full and we never had to ask for a refill. Lena was the sweetest and we loved her crepes that were available in Cabanas after pirate night. DisneyCruiseLineNavigator is so helpful when on board. We always knew what was going on and what activities were available. It was such an amazing honeymoon. I just want to thank all the staff on the Disney Wonder for making our honeymoon such a memorable experience.

1 more 2 DO!

This was our ninth Disney Cruise😎
After our next sailing, we will be a Platinum Castaway member!! After a three and five day cruise, we went on our third and first, seven day Cruise. My Brother and Sister in-law joined my wife and I on that cruise. It was the Inaugural Cruise on the Fantasy. (Her 6th sailing). It was an absolute extraordinary memorable cruise. Including perfect weather, Disney’s flawless commitment to customer service and so much more that gave us memories that will last a lifetime. It was on this sailing that we joined DVC as did my Brother and Sister In-law.
Shortly after it opened, in 1972 my parents took us to Disney World. In 1984 my college roommate (best friend and Best Man at my wedding) and I went to DW and EPCOT. EPCOT had just opened. And in 2004 we booked our First Disney Cruise. Again shortly after DCL began. In ‘72, on that First Disney memory, we stayed at the Contemporary. We plan to go back to the Contemporary in the future, making that full circle.
As you can see Disney has been a part of our family nearly my entire life. (I was seven in ‘72).
Because all that’s inclusive with DCL we use our points to cruise. Trans Atlantic (return), the Panama Canal and Alaska are on our list. Thank You for so Many Incredible memories. In my case a Lifetime of unforgettable, perfectly Disney memories!!!

Easy to use and great communication tool onboard

Several years ago we used DisneyCruiseLineNavigator on our first Disney cruise but it is greatly improved. No need to use the onboard 'cell phones' provided to each stateroom. You can create your own groups and stay in touch with all the family on the ship. It also keeps activity schedules up to date but you need to get out of DisneyCruiseLineNavigator completely and then open it again. The last night of our cruise they got the okay to show the new Beauty and the Beast movie the night before it was to open in theaters. When I checked DisneyCruiseLineNavigator , there it was. Thanks for this useful tool. Two suggestions for possible improvements are 1) have DisneyCruiseLineNavigator actual give some kind of sound indication if you receive a text message. 2) have an additional financial part to be able to see what extras you have added to your trip and the financial responsibility for those additions. It would be far easier than having to go to Member Services to check what was on their final bill. Would be handy and could help Member Services cast members cut down on the volume of calls and visits to their area for information.
DisneyCruiseLineNavigator worked great but there are always ways to improve.
Thanks for helping make our cruise more magical.

Our cruise May6-11 from SanDiego

Just spent our 50th wedding anniversary on board with our kids, grandkids. Starting with the beautiful bouquet of flowers in our room and ending with such an easy debarkation we were beyond surprised at how awesome a trio this was . We Loved everything about it but must give highest ratings to our dining waiters Alvito from India and Mindori from Japan and head waiter Faisal. They were excellent on every level of service and kindness. They made dining an extraordinary and fun experience. We were treated like royalty and of course the food was WOW!!! The crew of the entire Wonder ship was 5 star as was the cleanliness of the ship. Shows were Magnificent! Been on several cruise lines including Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Princess. ...... Your standards surpass them all ,
Great job Disney!!!! We’ll be back !

PS. In Cabo we did a 3 hour port excursion of snorkeling etc. I can’t remember the name of the tour company but the whole thing was 5 *****., including the crew, boat, and equipment we got to use ( a first class operation) We had such a great time ... nice, informative, and helpful. Highly recommend this ! Even gave us water and snacks after . Another WOW!!! Impressive!

No Castaway Cay

We recently sailed wit Disney on Sept 6, 2019. I was very nervous because of the Hurricane Dorian that has just hit. I called everyday to find out if we were still going. Everyone said yes. I even called while on the boat before taking off and they said yes. We are on schedule. We would have cancelled and rescheduled for another time. We didn’t hear that castaway cat was not a option until later that night after Nassau. They have been very unreasonable to deal with and will not call you back. We have asked to be refunded some of the money or compensation since the only reason we went on Disney was for its private island. Their response was so sorry but too bad. I am in shock at how they treat their guests. To make things worse our very expensive upgraded stateroom didn’t have any air condition. We let our person know and they did nothing. It wasn’t until 10:30 pm when we got back to our room that I called guest services 3 times to come and check. Finally after letting them know I wanted another room some one showed up. Now it’s 11:45 pm and they are changing out a blower motor. It was 81 degrees in our room. And my husband is a diabetic He can’t be in that heat too long. And finally all the Coke Zero pop machines were broke. So my hubby had to drink water the entire trip. If you don’t believe me I have pics to prove. If you have a Disney Cruise planned you may need to reconsider.
A unsatisfied guest !!

6 Night Merry Christmas Cruise; Galveston; 2-8 Nov 2018

This was our first Disney cruise. As a result we weren’t aware of multiple items provided but not fully explained at boarding or shortly after I.e. ship deck plans available at Guest services, breakfast room service forms in our cabin desk, dining rotation shown on room key (affects planned specialty dining).
Our most significant issue was with ADA compliance throughout the ship. Doors labeled as “wheelchair Accessible “ were NOT. Multiple doors did not have power assistance to open and hold the door open until to guests gets through. In addition, doors leading to outside decks were not designed for an electric wheelchair to pass across. Our ECV (and other guests) got stuck every time by bottoming out at the center of the ECV. “Accessible” bathrooms were not. They are too small to allow an ECV or wheelchair to enter and exit...the doors also are not power assisted. In short my opinion is not ADA compliant.
The service and staff of the Disney Wonder and the Galveston terminal were all excellent. A special recognition to Rebbeca at The Galveston Terminal for her wheelchair assistance for my wife during our embarkation. The activities and entertainment were clearly Disney quality.
Our cruise was very enjoyable and we will cruise again with Disney, and our greatest concern is the Wonder’s lack of ADA compliance.

Disney Fantasy

The only reason I’m giving this cruise two stars is because of the staff. The people worked like crazy, they were awesome. So at first we were leaving port canverarl and we were doing fine, until about day 2. They said the ship was moving about 9 knots. So we were going to be another day at sea and we were going to skip Jamaica. They apologized for any of the disconvenience this may have caused, and they were giving 20% off of future cruises. And only $200 for all staterooms. Only 200? So we got to Cozumel and we did our exersion. That was the only thing we did out of 5 exersions booked. We were supposed to snorkel in grand cayman, but the boat that was supposed to take us out was having mechanical problems, like there wasn’t 50 other boats taking people snorkeling, with plenty of room. We were supposed to do the glass bottom boat but the cruise was leaving at 4:30 instead of 5:30 and our glass bottom boat was cutting it close, so we canceled that one, I’ll admit this one was out fault. Then we got to castaway cay and it was raining for about 30 minutes. The rain ended around 10:30 and our exersion wasn’t til 12:45. But then my phone told me that our banana bout has been canceled. So we payed 14k for this cruise and only did about 20% of it. And they give us 20% off of FUTURE cruises in stead of this one. Very disappointing.

Fantasy

We had a great time aboard the Disney Fantasy. The seven nights in the Caribbean Sea was the best vacation we have had as a family.
The ship was amazing. It covered all aspect from kids in diapers to adult only areas. Food was good, entertainment was Disney at its best, and our excursions went flawless!
I would like to give a special thanks to the people that made our trip truly amazing. Alston was by far one of the nicest people we met that cleaned our room twice a day, had the heat/AC fixed in less than an hour, and just had a great personality. THANK YOU ALSTON!
Oliver and Maria took care of us as our dinning staff every night. Both worked very hard. They were always pleasant and we enjoyed seeing the every night. Oliver went over the top to make our children origami every night to put a smile on there faces. He also gave the kids challenges every night which they enjoyed. Maria had great conversation about her home country, and always had a smile on her face. THANK YOU OLIVER AND MARIA!
Our experience was one that we look forward to doing again very soon. Disney cruise is highly recommended!

Amazing staff

We had the best time on our cruise! There were 14 in our family so it was a large group ages varying from 7-69. George took care of our every need with our staterooms. He always had a smile on his face and eager to help in any way. Victor in Palo was hilarious and so personable. This was hands down our favorite experience of the trip. Brunch was so delicious, but Victor was hands down the best part! His knowledge of the menu was so extensive and impressed us all! Kelsey was the fairy godmother from New Zealand that gave my 7 year old a makeover. She was lovely and stayed in character the entire time. We loved her! Our servers each night, Delarno and I’m sorry, I can’t remember the other servers name, however They made every night so much fun and a fantastic experience. What a gift to be able to remember our needs and our names! They took so much time with us and we felt like they were part of the family. Delarno had the best tricks and the kids ate it up. He’s one is the best things about our experience. We couldn’t wait for dinner. Top notch!!
