Mediocre, solid meh

Signed up for LifeWorks at work last week and was pumped about the steps challenge starting today. I figured I’d download TELUSHealthOne so I could sync my Runkeeper app to it (like it says you can do online) and that feature is nowhere to be found. Also, no information about the challenge I signed up for - screen shots on TELUSHealthOne Store show it should be part of the deal.

Gave it a shot and tried to fill out my profile. Tried to change the birthdate and it’s stuck on January 1, 1970. The jobs I came to accomplish were not able to be done. Flow of TELUSHealthOne is clumsy and the back button takes you to the top of the previous page. Irritating because then you have to scroll through the million irrelevant articles to find where you were.

The positive: there’s a bunch of content that would be useful to some people.

Can’t get accurate step amounts

I have tried on both my iPhone and my iPad and neither can properly update TELUSHealthOne with my Fitbit steps. On a day my Fitbit said I had 9000 steps, LifeWorks downloaded as 5000. Same for other days. Maddening.

I’ve found it will only update from my Apple Health, which takes steps off my phone only. My phone is sitting on the counter usually and is a much lower step amount.

I want to use my Fitbit in the LifeWorks Challenge but no amount of of unhooking and re-hooking my Fitbit does anything.

Takes forever to load

I like this product overall, I think it’s a great platform and tool. I don’t log in everyday because by the time it loads and logs in I have already gotten distracted by something else and have moved on from wanting to log my well-being challenge for the day.

Easy to Navigate

Love the new platform and all the options... so many opportunities to engage so take your time to discover.

Bugs Take Away from the Experience

LifeWorks is a great product. However, the frequent bugs is taking a lot away from its quality. The Support team has been good about following up and communicating updates on issues. However, I feel like I’m in too much communication with the Support team because of all the system issues myself and other employees have to report.

iPad app isn’t for an iPad

The iPad app just shows a small, phone-size iPhone app in the middle of the screen. They have provided zero iPad support but allow you to download it on an iPad. But it says in TELUSHealthOne Store that it is iPad-compatible. False.

Worse, it doesn’t automatically change the orientation. I use my iPad almost exclusively with a keyboard. But LifeWorks doesn’t switch to landscape mode. I just see the small iPhone app floating sideways on the screen.

So SLOW

TELUSHealthOne is so slow it’s almost unbearable. It’s easier to launch the website on a 1998 Compaq PC with 56k dial up. Seriously, TELUSHealthOne takes minutes to load and when you switch to other pages within, those too also take minutes to load. Don’t use TELUSHealthOne . Go to the website on you phone or desktop.

This app is worthless

I hate TELUSHealthOne. It doesn’t sync my steps 100%. My job replaced our previous incentive plan with TELUSHealthOne- obviously to save money. It’s impossible to get the points when I can’t access snackables and my steps are not all recorded. So if you don’t reach the point goal, no incentive for you. No matter how often I resync the steps still don’t work. I’ll be deleting it.

Not user friendly

Does not link to my Fitbit even though I’ve tried several times. Unable to get credit for my walking/exercise due to this. Constantly has notifications in TELUSHealthOne , but when I open it, there’s no notification. I want to be able to use this for work and well-being, but as of yet, it’s a major struggle

Horrible interface

App is incredibly difficult to navigate. There is no clear indicator of how to access mental health help. Once you do find it you have to create several different accounts instead of just the one for TELUSHealthOne. TELUSHealthOne is useless if you cannot find and access the care you are supposed to find through it. No

Can’t use at home.

TELUSHealthOne requires me to answers my phone, which is at work, to log in. So when I need help at home I can’t get it because I can’t log in. Stupid!
Also, LifeWorks appear to me to be more about patting coworkers on the back with recognitions and about shopping than really helping people in trouble. I say that partly because that is the first things that comes up on the interface.

Very user friendly

Love having TELUSHealthOne! So motivating!

Lacks steps tracking options

I can’t participate in my work challenge with my Garmin watch. Only integrates with Fitbit or your phone. I walk up and down stairs all day without my phone. There is not an option to enter a daily number using honor system.

Always down

So, employer partnered company, why does it take a week to respond to an email with details on why someone sponsored for the services, who is looking for help, can’t access the site, at all. Find your best self, yeah, right, I’m trying and your crap company is making it impossible to do so. Thanks for the customary we will look into it and abandon you after hitting send.

Unimpressed

If my healthcare is going to be gamified, it would be nice if TELUSHealthOne worked consistently. The snackable wellbeing topics have been down for almost 2 weeks-causing me to lose the opportunity to gain points and therefore earn money towards my health needs. LifeWorks, you should give all active users extra points to compensate for your errors.

Loads soooo slowly

I’ve tried a couple of times to access TELUSHealthOne since my workplace paid for it for all employees but I can’t past the homepage. It takes way too long to load and actually makes me more stressed — definitely the opposite of its purpose. Pass.

By

Full of Ads

I received this email invitation through my company and assumed incorrectly it was a program offered through my employee benefits.

I don’t consider a portal for 3rd parties to advertise to me or sell me things to be an employee benefit.

I immediately deleted TELUSHealthOne after being bombarded with ads right after I told TELUSHealthOne I wanted to focus on weight management and stress.

You’d think the first page you pull up wouldn’t have mortgage related ads on it. Total crap. I dumped FB because I hate the constant ads.

Does not sync with Apple Watch

I only got TELUSHealthOne because my company had a stepping challenge! The real challenge was dealing with this stupid app. Never could sync it to my Apple Watch to count my steps! Looked like a big loser and finally deleted TELUSHealthOne .

By

No bad interface and usage

Scrolling does not load from the bottom and TELUSHealthOne does not categorize offers properly perk pages hardly load

By

App is clunky, services aren’t actually available

I needed help, and when I reached out through TELUSHealthOne , I reached an offshore employee who was just following a script. No actual counseling available.

Improve performance and content load time
