Clipboard health is one of the worst companies I have ever worked for when you go to facilities and they treat you terribly or don’t give you the tools that you need to do your job and you’re just no longer comfortable they will direct you to go ahead and leave the facility and they will take care of it but after they go ahead and direct you to leave the facility they will then terminate you because you left and consider it a no call no show or a call off they are so misleading they do not treat their employees with any integrity or respect the only good thing about Clipboard is the fact that they have good pay rates in pay daily the people who answer the phones have no sense of anything they don’t even know the type of jobs that we do so they never have an answer for a single thing that we need help with at all oh and if you think that you’re Going to work for a company who cares about the healthcare professionals they do not

Okay, this apps is definitely great for going to school and working with flexible. I am an full time RN student and an LVN. and this has been very helpful for me.

yes …There will be times where you run into unprofessional settings or work place.

however, the clipboard team has been supportive and generally answer emails quick and pick up my phone call if I have an concern.

Regarding paying issues , it only happened once and I was paid within the same day.

I am overall happy that I am able to make my own schedule and work anytime I want!

As a CNA for about 6 months with CBH I have some thoughts I would like to share. I really like clipboard health and ClipboardHealth makes it super easy for me to find new shifts. The uploading of my CDPH 530 form can sometimes be difficult because the prompt doesn’t always show up. Another point of contention is that I’m sometimes the first line of in-person contact for a facility. They don’t understand who the direct contact is for booking me more shifts. I can always find a work around but it’s frustrating having to get off the nursing floor to help someone in HR figure out these things.

I only like the instant pay n I make my own schedule
, I just don’t like that I’m not able to pick up shifts just bc I don’t have my booster and cannot get it u til July, one person told me they will reach out to the facility and I would get an email back and didn’t! Then another person told me they can bypass the booster and book the shift for me. Now it’s the facility that won’t let me work bc I don’t have my booster mind u I have a full time job and they are ok with it I just have to bring in my covid boost proof in July. Idk it’s cool bc I can make my own schedule but now I’m just picking up at the same place when there’s other facilities I can go and experience.

I’m a single parent and had to call off two hours before my shift due to a last minute family emergency with one of my children.
My clipboard account was suspended for one week plus loosing all of my other shifts that was previously picked up too. I called the customer service number and spoke with a representative trying to explain my situation but he wasn’t very helpful. I had a doctors note but that irrelevant to clipboards policies. Most situation’s are out out of our control and can not prevent emergencies from happening. I understand being suspended but not loosing all of my other too. I’m not happy with the company far as their policies and having some type of lenience in most situation’s. Thank Goodness that I have another job as a backup plan.

Job Work/Life Balance. Good to make your own schedule.

Compensation/Benefits: with no insurance or 401 k this place does not pay well. They are average Pay if you consider other agencies. You can find this pay with benefits.

Job Security/Advancement: these people are over seas. You will not be moving up in this company.

Management: YOU WILL NEVER TALK TO A MANAGER. The follow up calls and emails are never going to happen. Getting someone to do anything I’d like telling a stop sign to go. It’s not happening.

Job Culture: it’s agency. Clipboard believes anything the facility says. They clipboard will under pay you or not pay you at all. I had an incident were clipboard did not verify the schedule. I showed up and did not get paid for the shift I worked because the DON said I didn’t shoe show. They said I was a ncns. And I had to pay clipboard health back for that shift.

This has been the best decision I made for my career… I am currently a LVN and going into the RN program and clipboard has been a great tool for my success. Being able to pick up shifts whenever I want and whatever time is a must for a student like me. I have to schedule around school and it is a dream. No pressure to work and very good registry, always professional, always considerate, and always helpful. I encourage all you nurses or soon to be nurses to sign on and try clipboard, clipboard has been a dream.

UPDATE: as of the update 3-4 days ago, it’s been super buggy you can’t even do anything without ClipboardHealth going blank

There is too many people running the show. A lot gets lost in communication. I had 6 different people text me to verify I was going to work when I keep answering yes. Then, I’m about 1 hour from my shift and someone cancels! They called me to verify and I told them the truth that I was on my way and then didn’t find the facility in my dashboard. Recently my shifts have taken over 2-3 days to verify. I need gas to wok but don’t have my money. ClipboardHealth took it upon itself to also kick me out of my debit card so I had to enter is again

My account got disabled because I had a couple incidents throughout the year where I had to cancel my shift due to family emergencies. I reached out to the support team and the policy team via email and phone number regarding my situation, which they never replied and proceeded with disabling my account during the time I was actually working a shift with clipboard. This is very unprofessional on their behalf. When they finally did reply they basically stated that they do not care that I had family emergencies but they disabled my account because it made them look bad with the facility.
Worst agency ever! Life can’t happen when you work with them.

I could be the spokesperson for clipboard. I was making 2000/month with my regular Cna job. In one month while working my regular night job I made 5000 from clipboard in this past October. The best part of ClipboardHealth is getting paid right after your shift! It’s the best decision I’ve made all year. The ONLY thing I don’t like is I had to pay for my own physical but it was totally worth it.

Two stars only so my review doesn’t get marked as spam and suppressed. Sure, come work for us with just a license, clean tb test, and physical! Oh, and a cpr card, a background check, ten million vaccines that your ‘state requires’ (when they do not) and a drug test where if you take any anxiety medication, we require you to prove to our doctor why you need it. What. A. Joke. Deleted ClipboardHealth asap and am pursuing legal action against the company for discriminating against medical marijuana users, as that is illegal in my state. Funny how I know the state laws better than my prospective employer.

I have not been able to access my account through ClipboardHealth for over a day now. It takes me directly to a blank screen. This I find difficult because I will have to wait until I get home from my shift to upload my timesheet and that is not very convenient seeing as sometimes it takes over an hour to get it approved to cash out. I need this glitch fixed as soon as possible.

Honestly if I could give this 0 stars I would. I have never dealt with as many issues as I have with dealing with this company. I picked up a shift and I was sent home by facility and was never compensated for my time. It’s too many malfunctions with ClipboardHealth. It’s always some type a glitch. Every time you call for help they beat around the bush and you’re never able to get anything resolved. I absolutely hate Clipboard and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY! it’s not worth the headache to deal with this company when there are better options like IntelyCare.

I found out about Clipboard Health through a coworker while working at a facility and I love it. I have freedom to make my own schedule and the instant pay is a plus. I don’t have to wait two weeks to get paid and I can still work through another agency when there aren’t any shifts near me.

They get all your information after that you can forget it I have never seen a company lie so much when you ask them who has your information if you can’t start. They talk to you like robots and bluntly lie about how they are helping you these reviews are definitely false I also had my information sold to black market for the first Time in my whole life applying and sending information on indeed luckily I get alerts be careful if it’s too good to be true it is I’m definitely done with these fake work for yourself apps

ClipboardHealth is a lifesaver Honestly! All the information is accurate, I’ve never had it stall on me, and I get paid as soon as my shift is over! Clocking in and Out is always Simple, Quick, and Easy! I receive All alerts and any communication from the facilities I choose to work for! Clipboard is” The Best”!

We are independent contractors and this is good and bad under the law regular employs have to pay you if you work well clipboard has a weird contract that’s says you don’t get paid if they can’t verify you worked! Sounds complicated imagine you worked and got timesheet signed but some how their people can’t verify you worked because of miscommunications?? So now your waiting weeks (weeks for your pay) this company will get sued (again) for sure you can’t treat people like this.

I like the option to work when I need to ! But ClipboardHealth has many issues such as clocking out for lunch and completely clocking you out then not getting paid the correct amount and having to struggle to get the pay owed! Another is the not having facilities be honest about active covid when they do many more flaws but other than having struggles with payments and app issues that need fixed!

After getting tired of jumping through hoops, I looked for another app based service and found one. That accepted my flu vaccine just like all my other employers did. Professional, smoother interface, actual people that help you. Don’t waste your time (and it will be a lot of time) trying to please these people. They have disorganized and disregard written all over them. There’s better apps out there

Do NOT put your information in here without first connecting to a rep and seeing if there is ANYTHING in your area. Once your info is in?? They HANG ON TO IT!! Its almost like they’re TRYING to steal your identity.
Contacted the support no less than TEN times and they still will not remove my information and there is no way for you to remove it yourself or edit it away. You HAVE to wait on customer service who will never remove it!! Have contacted BBB in my state and reported them. Do not use!!

This is one of the agencies I’ve worked with in the past and they really have a sense of customer service. The agents really do go above and beyond to make sure that you are placed in a decent facility and treated with respect.....and the pay is nice!

They won’t pay you on time they take they absolute time to pay you I have so many recorded phone calls of me arguing with them
About my money I earned they will not reimburse they will not give you an advance on pay for their mess ups they will not give you any incentives all they do is apologize me and my kids got sick we were hungry with no medicine for a whole weekend they still didn’t care I would not recommend to nobody they are terrible

Even with 5G my app loads way too long and I wouldn’t know whether I uploaded my sheets or not. I often update ClipboardHealth but the prompt saying ClipboardHealth has a new version won’t go away. Working with clipboard is easy but the facility they affiliate with often times don’t even know they have an agency coming. Its still a good way to start being a CNA

It makes you book your shift ahead, they reply email immediately, their payment is accurate and fast, l will recommend Clipboard health to anyone which l have been doing

I enjoy being employed at the company because they work as a team. Whatever you need whenever you need it they are always available and willing to assist you!

I love that I can pick up whatever I want, it’s confirmed right away. I wish they had a recruiter for more nursing homes it’s a lot more in my area that accept agency

I will never pick up a shift with this place again. I went to a job that said I was confirmed ans found out I never was confirmed. Drove 45 mins to job site. Clipboard is suppose to pay you 4 hours for them not using you and they did not pay me. I called customer support 6 times they said they are looking into it and never called me back and never paid me

I like the purpose of ClipboardHealth , however it doesn’t work. In order to verify on ClipboardHealth you have to upload the timesheet, get a signature in ClipboardHealth which doesn’t progress past the point of obtaining the signature which is counter productive because they still have to call the facility to verify the shift and the 80% pay you’re supposed to get once they get a time slip is non-existent.

Horrible it doesn’t have the clock in or out buttons…. It doesn’t upload the timesheets. It hides the shifts crazy crazy

I love ClipboardHealth always able to find work sometimes it has glitches but overall it’s great
