No matter what photos I add for the generation prompts, I get an error that says the photo must be at least 300px…and I have a brand new iphone 15 Pro Max so all photos are at least 300px…this is likely a ploy to get you to subscribe and I’m sorry but $9.99 a week is ridiculous! Too bad, I was really looking forward to getting in on this hugging trend but not on HugAi…do better!
It doesn’t give you the option to redo the video if it doesn’t come out right, which it does not (for any of the 5 I tried), and there’s nothing else you can do until the next day. Overall really unhappy with how it worked and the fact you can’t even give feedback on whether what you tried was what you were wanting, and no option to redo it.
You can only create 5 videos per day, and for some reason, it changes all faces to appear Asian. You can’t delete videos, so if you don’t like the result, it still counts toward your daily limit.
There’s nothing in HugAi that can be done for free. You must pay 9.99$ per week, to use HugAi . Even if you pay one time you’ll only have HugAi for 7 days for $10.
Almost none of my photos generated as they were supposed to. I used a variety of photos and they were just terrible. Waste of $9.99 in my opinion. Disappointed
If I could give it zero stars, I would. I plan on trying to get a refund bc it freezes up and barely works most of the time. Total waste of money!
HugAi only allows 5 videos a day. Even when the videos don’t follow the prompt at all. So you pay for an app that only partially works. It’s a rip off. Don’t fall for it

like a previous reviewer said, i paid $10 to try to generate an AI video of me and my deceased father where it looks like we are hugging each other, because i lost him when i was a little girl. and HugAi is nothing but a SCAM and false advertisement. i provided two very clear pictures, and the video that it generated was honestly an insult. my face wasn’t even in the video. for some reason the back of my head was??? and the man that is supposed to “portray” my father in the video is frickin Asian. sickening.
I downloaded it to do the two people hugging and it never did it. First of all it changed the people in my picture to two random people who looked nothing alike and then it did a slideshow with those people. I tried a few times until I reached the 5 times per day allowed. You’re paying $9.99 a week for trash.
It’s $9.99 weekly and you only get 5 videos per a day. This includes videos that didn’t turn out proper. Sometimes it even changes the person completely into AI, not using the original image. Not worth it.
This is just a scam don’t pay for it because it will turn out bad and this doesn’t even deserve a star so horrible service it just tells you to pay and there’s no other option

When I made it customer and told them to have us hugging. They used a completely different person for my grandmother and I. The pictures were crystal clear. Super disappointed
