Doesn’t work

Useless. Went through the whole set-up and just says “Something Went Wrong”. Won’t allow me to login.

Won’t work

I’m very disappointed, I heard about it from TikTok, people using this and getting their best glow up but when I made the account, opened it, and it just won’t lemme enter Thea , I restarted my phone and everything, close Thea and blah blah, just stucks on the page where it’s asking for subscription for monthly and yearly, no other option to enter Thea and try the free 3 day trial.

Like the concept — implementation unhelpful

I’m a more advanced skincare user and am always interested in learning more. Was excited at the prospects and would pay if it worked. The current version of Thea is broken and many features crash Thea . I’d like to select more than just two skin concerns and I’d like more guidance on what marking a good, neutral, or bad product for me meant. There are plenty of products that I use that I don’t enjoy using for various reasons (pilling, non-ideal application, texture, scent, etc.), but they are still helpful for my skin concerns. However if I mark something as bad, then Thea says they aren’t good for my routine anymore. Likewise, I can’t change any of my initial survey results (maybe they’re behind some of the crashing features?) so if my skin concerns change, that isn’t possible to change. There also isn’t a clear way to add products that aren’t in the system yet. Cool concept, but lots of work needed still to help more advanced skincare users!

Do not fall for the “free-subscription”

I downloaded Thea because I saw people posting about it on Tiktok. You need a subscription to do anything on Thea. When I signed up for the three day free subscription it stated many times on Thea I would not be billed until the end of the three days but when I started the free subscription they instantly billed me 15 dollars. They don’t have customer support and only have an email which I contacted and they never responded to. Now i’m stuck paying for a subscription I never wanted and can’t cancel. If I thought the money was worth it I might have given a higher start review but Thea is very underwhelming and I dont find it useful at all. Hopefully this will get their attention but i’ve accepted i’ll never get that money back. Save yourself the trouble and don’t download.

You HAVE to pay for it

Went through 15 minutes of pictures and inputting all of my products, only to be told I can’t continue unless you pay $60!
Wish that was up front before I wasted my time

scammy ads, mediocre app

I came across Thea on tiktok. After downloading it, going through the skin photos and current routine and picking the 3 day free trial, I decided Thea isn’t super helpful and definitely wouldn’t be worth $60 a year. I go back to tiktok to see why that one creator loved it so much. When I searched this app or this app app review, I realized that every video about it is an ad. They’re all from creators with less than 1000 followers and their bios are either “I <3 this app” or “it’s called this app” AND alll of their videos are about Thea . Not only that, these “creators” have nearly identical videos. They were obviously told what to post. I found one video where the creator was asked if it was an ad and she replied that it wasn’t. This advertising scheme is so shady and dishonest that I don’t want to support Thea because of that.

But as for why Thea is mediocre, it just analyzes your face and products. I wish there was a way to categorize products as owned but not currently in use. It can analyze if a product is a good match for your concerns, but it doesn’t take into account how you really shouldn’t be using too many actives at once. It doesn’t help you build a routine beyond identifying products as a good or bad match. Definitely not worth the money.

Don’t fall for the adds

I don’t go for adds and I tried looking at the comments buttt honeyy they do not give u justice so I wanna tell u my biggest pet peeve is when you do everything u have some hope then they say to continue u have to pay no no no no don’t get Thea it’s lwk a scam don’t do it babe your skin is good as it is

Next level beauty recs!

Tried this app, super impressed with the facial analysis technology and streamlined recommendations that align with my goals and skin sensitivities. I haven’t been happy with my products but didn’t know where to start overhauling my regimen bc there is so much on the market - it can be overwhelming. this app keeps it narrow and focused! Can’t wait to try its recommendations.

I had bad rosacea eczema prone skin

I’ve been to dermatology appointments before and it was very difficult to get them to look at all my products and routine to give recommendations on what was causing issues. After using this app it gave me a ton of good advice on skincare routine, makeup, and now I use it for everything beauty related. The finding dupe feature is AMAZING

Really great skincare app

Gives me awesome recommendations and matches what I thought about my skin and has already been helping me improve it!

Motivation I needed

My skin has always been pretty good, no major issues, but I’ve had persistent dryness and redness that was lingering.

When I heard about this app, it seemed like an efficient way to address my lingering concerns.

They took a photo of my face, asked some questions, and then gave me the exact routine I needed: using some of what I had already, adding a few new things, and suggesting replacements for other steps in my routine.

I often assume price and quality are linked, but this app has recommended a bunch of affordable products that work amazingly well. I would have never ordered those online if it weren’t for this app.

My skin has improved significantly. It’s amazing to see this app’s progress tracking.

Skincare game changer

Before this app, I would spend hours researching products on Reddit, TikTok, etc for a sub optimal skin care routine. Enter this app, where with a few photos and taps I now have a fully customized skin care routine targeted at the areas I want to see improvement. The ability to tell Thea exactly what I want to target, price point, etc in my words and get customized recommendations is a game changer and saving me a ton of back and forth with my dermatologist. Couldn’t recommend more!

Love!

Great app to help you determine how to better your skincare routine. Looking forward to seeing the progress!

Great for finding products

I found a cleanser I love on here. The search and filter tools by skin type are great!

Amazing

Easy to use. It organizes the products in your cabinet by category

My skincare is giving main character energy thanks to Thea!

this app is *that* app. I dl’ed it on a whim and now I’m obsessed. It’s like having a skincare bestie in my pocket—one that actually gets sensitive skin, recommends products (and dupes!!) that make sense, and breaks down ingredients like I didn’t nearly fail chemistry (bless). My routine? Straight-up ✨chef’s kiss✨. And my skin? Glowy, calm, and finally happy. Love the daily check ins to track my progress. Sensitive skin crew: run, don’t walk.

Amazing

Get Thea!!! Definitely will elevate your skincare routine and give you the best skin you ever had!!

AMAZING!

Love Thea! As a makeup artist this is so helpful. I love recommending it to all my clients to help them at home as well! Life changing!!!

This app seems amazing
