Best run/walk app I have found
Have tried others in the past that did not work as well. This program increases at a right that pushes me but does not feel undoable. In the past i get discouraged by workouts being so difficult that I could barely complete them and the progression of this app has been the most manageable by far. I went from not being able to run for more Than a few minutes to being able to run for 45 minutes continuously through the use of this app, all over the course of the summer. Lost 30 pounds in the process!
Was out of the run game due to injury for a few years. Turned to weight training in lieu of running. Finally, wanted to get back my enjoyment of running only to find that I could not run hardly at all still bc of pain and lack of aerobic conditioning. I started using this app and found it challenging but effective. I now look fwd to running and am half way thru the program but feel so motivated for what I have accomplished. I look forward to finishing the program and being able to take long Saturday runs again like I could in my military days.

This app is amazing! A couple of years ago I was diagnosed with cancer and lost a lot of physical strength. But I am out of treatment and ready to get back into better shape! This app is awesome and has helped me so much! It tells you how far you run, how many calories you burned, and has a timer for when to stop running and start walking and vise versa! I love it and highly recommend it!
Working my way back
I had to stop my running (okay, jogging) routine for 6 months while undergoing cancer treatment. Came out the other side ready to pick up where I left off, but found (to no one’s surprise) that I no longer had the stamina to run. This app has been bringing me back to my former slow-but-steady form at a pace I can handle. I’m so happy to have found it! It doesn’t have a lot of bells, whistles, and pre-programmed encouraging phrases, but I like that it alerts me each minute that goes by. I can’t wait to find out how it gets me from running a certain amount of time to running a certain distance.
One of the better ones
I was using another run training app, but it jumped from running 1 minute in a row, to running 5, which I couldn’t do. I found this one & I love the way it gradually increases. I still struggle some, but that’s just me! It’s a very simple app, nothing fancy, but it gets the job done & I'm excited to see how much better I can get with my running!
Never been a runner except when my sports did it as conditioning. But after college, I started sleeping terribly, being more emotional and stressed, and obviously gained weight/lost muscle. This app made running a lot less sucky because I didn’t have to keep up with how long I have been running. It just tells me what to do. And I can play my own music
Best app to begin running
I was never good at running. I didn’t even liked it because I used to get tired very fast and won’t run for more than 5-6 minutes. With this app I’ve been able to go from no running at all to run 25 minutes in less than a month. I’m so excited with running that I’m even thinking on participating in a 5K race.
Love this app
This is a great app if you need help building up your running time and distance. It slowly increases your running time each day and has helped me to actually enjoy running. It also runs in the background, so you can play music or watch something while the app warns you to run or walk. Overall very happy
Great way to start running
The name of the app is spot on with this one. If you aren’t a runner but want to be, this app is for you. It starts easy then gradually gets harder to build your stamina. The app has audio as well to let you know when to run and when to walk. For best use, run on a track but a treadmill works too.
Just started and it works!
I just started a few days ago and I gotta say that nothing has gotten me running like this app has! I can barely run two minutes straight but this workout app has pushed me so well that I feel amazing after every session!
I’m not a professional runner by any means, but this app allows you to slowly progress at a manageable pace anyone can utilize. Most of all I enjoy the warm up and cool down, which is usually something I skip. Lastly, this app shows your progress which is amazing to see! I’d recommend this app to anyone interested in getting back to running or new to running otherwise.

I’m trying to get back into running and this is the perfect app. Although I wish it’d let you skip ahead some because the level one beginning it too easy for my but the level 2 beginning is too hard

All are incredibly functional, simple, and user friendly! With regards to this one: Use the “presets”, or customize to the fullest , and make your own programs . The timers are precise and never fail. GPS, calorie counter, statistics... To the Developers: Kids! You are awesome! Really well done! Bravo!
Better Shape, For Sure
This app has definitely helped me get in better shape. It helped me go for hardly no running to running a good amount everyday. If interested in getting in better shape give it a try. You will enjoy it.
Best free running app I found
I like that I can listen to music while using the app. The running intervals work well. I have to keep resetting my workout because I can’t run the amount it says I should be running. I think the calorie count is based on the workout and not your actual calories burnt.
