ParentVUE New Reviews

The new version of ParentVUENew has way too many bugs. For starters, I can’t seem to find a way to enable biometric login. I searched through all the settings and if it exists I couldn’t find it.

In the old app, when I wanted to send an email, a list of my child’s teachers would appear when I selected the “To” field. Now I have to search through the entire school (and the teachers are listed alphabetically by first name). I wanted to reply to an email and when I hit the reply button, all the fields were blank. What is the point of having a reply button?

When I am typing a message, the text area is mostly blocked by the keyboard. I try to scroll down to see the text, but when I type it scrolls back to the top of the page. I have to guess what I am typing and then scroll to see if I need to change something.

I noticed I could save an email signature. I entered something and hit Save. I went back to see if the signature saved and it appeared as though it did not. However when composing my email, the signature appeared in the text area.

These are just a few examples of the issues I have run across. It seems like this version was released before it was completely finished. I really don’t enjoy being a beta tester.

It’s literally worse now. You’d think that for the amount of money schools districts pay Synergy SIS, they would be able to come up with an app that doesn’t absolutely blow. The interface is absolute garbage, it’s slow, it’s clunky, the intuitive like hold a knife by the sharp end.

I might run for a seat on my school board just to get rid of this system. I can’t deal with this garage for the next decade.

Just when I thought the previous version of ParentVUENew was getting better. Poof they throw it out. I can’t even login to this new one. You don’t need a new app. You need new management.

It never loads, the previous app is disabled. I can’t access my kids account profiles, report absences or check grades. The stupid thing just buffers for eternity.

How long to wait for the emblem to stop spinning so i can see my kids accounts???

Just a different flavor of bad. Consider hiring a designer.

Seriously, one would have to try so hard to make a NEW version of a terrible app, that’s somehow much worse than ParentVUENew it replaces. It’s really an impressive feat.

If you really like staring at a spinning logo for 5-10 minutes every time you open it, this is ParentVUENew for you.

It sends 11 notifications for every single notification it should send.

This low-effort slop should not have been released in its current state.

I frequently used the older version of ParentVUENew with no issues. I downloaded the new version and was happy with it at first because I appreciated the organization of it. However, it operates MUCH SLOWER than the old version, sometimes not loading my children’s accounts at all. I just want a quick way to check grades and enter absences but I’m going back to the old version because I frequently cannot get to grades.

I looked for a way to send feedback, but there is no contact info on ParentVUENew . Maybe put that in the settings and you will get better ratings. When I tried to change the color of the Tiles the screen would go to my main phone screen and I would have find ParentVUENew and start over. I was never able to change the Blue or any color to another hue. This needs fixed.

I saw ParentVUENew had bad reviews but I tried it and I am not experiencing any issues so I thought I would give it a good review. I like how the grades and assignments pages are easier to read now. Thanks.
