Way Too Many Issues

The new version of this app has way too many bugs. For starters, I can’t seem to find a way to enable biometric login. I searched through all the settings and if it exists I couldn’t find it.

In the old app, when I wanted to send an email, a list of my child’s teachers would appear when I selected the “To” field. Now I have to search through the entire school (and the teachers are listed alphabetically by first name). I wanted to reply to an email and when I hit the reply button, all the fields were blank. What is the point of having a reply button?

When I am typing a message, the text area is mostly blocked by the keyboard. I try to scroll down to see the text, but when I type it scrolls back to the top of the page. I have to guess what I am typing and then scroll to see if I need to change something.

I noticed I could save an email signature. I entered something and hit Save. I went back to see if the signature saved and it appeared as though it did not. However when composing my email, the signature appeared in the text area.

These are just a few examples of the issues I have run across. It seems like this version was released before it was completely finished. I really don’t enjoy being a beta tester.

It’s literally worse now. You’d think that for the amount of money schools districts pay Synergy SIS, they would be able to come up with an app that doesn’t absolutely blow. The interface is absolute garbage, it’s slow, it’s clunky, the intuitive like hold a knife by the sharp end.

I might run for a seat on my school board just to get rid of this system. I can’t deal with this garage for the next decade.

Just when I thought the previous version of the app was getting better. Poof they throw it out. I can’t even login to this new one. You don’t need a new app. You need new management.
