There is only an immediate push to trial a paid version of the app for 14.99/year after.
And the paid version is the only version.
There is no option to try Poop Log Lite or anything like that.

For me, this is a nicely design app, but it falls short. If you looking for something pacifically like blood in your stool, you will have to print out an entire history of all activities. It has no search feature for you to eliminate the information you do not want. So depending on how often you go, be prepared to possibly print out a book. Just to find some simple information.

Useful, hadn’t known such an app existed. It’s fairly straightforward, though the UI in entering data is more cumbersome than preferred. Would like to see a personal “default” and then ability to easily adjust from there- and/or some personal presets that can be modified. It seems things like the color have built-in defaults with no way to configure. There is more scrolling necessary than I prefer right after pooping. Think all the info could be on a single location by using scroll wheels and defaults. One major oversight is not allowing to add photo from gallery- you can ONLY add from live camera AND it oddly offers a bunch of color filters (why?!?). Hopefully the author can fix that quickly, I flushed the ability to do a Live Photo of the poop today prior to flushing, but it’s in the gallery. Hope author keeps refining, and maybe even add the ability to create statistics that can be exported to CSV. The PDF feature is nice, hope that can be even further refined.
