This is the most poorly designed app I’ve ever seen. For every action you used to have to do in MICA, “this app” now requires several actions to complete the same task. The UI is absolutely terrible. You can’t glance at Mitigate anymore to get an idea of where you’re at in the project. Buttons are hidden, checkboxes don’t work, some options require you to swipe. Did we just open an AI program and select “randomize” to create this? I feel like someone high up the food chain had a grandson that said he was good at making apps and because he hasn’t held a job since getting his GED, this person decided to give him a chance because they’re tired from of him living in the basement.
How could a mitigation that’s practically required to be used for work be so useless. I had high hopes for this app but it turned out to be a complete disappointment. The features are either too basic or don’t work as expected and the interface feels completely outdated. I struggle to find any use for Mitigate compared to the others, don’t waste your time downloading.
Why do we have to make things more complicated than mica. We just want 1 screen that you can click on boxes and put numbers in, like an excel form. We need to know the gpp. That’s it. Mica was simpler, you would just work left to right with the bottom buttons. Now, Mitigate is all over the place.
The lack of any sort of desktop application or review platform similar to MICA and MICA exchange make this take needlessly long. There is simply too much information to effectively operate from a phone and makes review of the information for an estimator difficult. It may look more updated than MICA but in terms of performance and efficiency Mitigate is severely lacking.
Mitigate makes MICA look like the most amazing app.
It saves pictures to the cloud only, it erased almost 2 hrs of picture documentation in one of our jobs. We couldn’t get paid on equipment.
Mitigate features don’t work properly. You will need to close it and open it many times to be able to add readings.
The line item feature is unusable.
Mitigate is garbage and a liability to any company.
Mitigate is terribly slow. It always overheats my phone and I can never get things done in a timely efficient manner. Horrible app
Mitigate is terrible and never works and takes forever to load. I’d say more, but I don’t wanna waste my time thinking about Mitigate.
Like other people have said, it’s sad when you find yourself saying “I miss MICA”
I love the idea and the vision of Mitigate , however you guys really really need to work out the many bugs in Mitigate . Ghost rooms, humidity reading swapping, only being able to make rooms squares, the struggle of uploading photos, and being impossible to navigate all make Mitigate very frustrating to use.
Everything being in one place is perfect, and the forms side of Mitigate is easy to understand. But photos need to be easier to upload and add, and the many bugs need to be worked out.
It has potential to be better than mica but as of right now it’s not there. They have fixed many bugs that were holding it back but hasn’t hit that future proof potential yet.
Let me start by saying MICA is one of the worst applications I have ever seen in my life. Thankfully, Mitigate is much more user friendly and accurate. Sketch feature is nice and more intuitive than xactimates use of the same tech. I hope they make a desktop version as there is a lot of info to try and compile on your phone especially with larger losses
