Misleading ads

Sorry if this is confusing, this is possibly the first review I’ve written in my life. I was expecting animal crossing meet farming sim, but all I got was a Gacha village themed version of Simscity, AKA mostly made made to milk money out of people. it made me especially sad because I was originally so excited for this game to come out. I had been stalking the release date and every time I saw the ads on TikTok. That probably made it worse though when it actually did come out. I had thought I was done being fooled by deceptive ads but apparently not. This game is not at all like what I was expecting from the numerous ads I had seen before the release date. Upon downloading and seeing the huge difference, I had forced myself to play for at least an hour thinking just hadn’t unlocked the gameplay yet and wanting to give it a fair chance. Final evaluation while trying to set aside the glowing vision I had formed in my mind from the ads? Not a terrible game to completely shut your brain off and play for an hour but I definitely cannot see myself playing this for a long period of time or spending money on, which considering I have spent at the very minimum $500+ on other games on micro-transactions and other things might tell you something.

Update, I was wrong

Edit, Played a bit further and games super p2w and not so free to play friendly. You will need to buy life time membership to enjoy game. They throw micro transactions in your face every time you long in and even mark them with red dot as important to make you click them to I red dot them every login. Think I seen about 3 different season passes in game. Then the weekly and monthly passes. Games dubbed in all and the start of story is dubbed and they stop after the tutorial basically. Game had promise, but to many money pop up and when ranking system for top ups. They have skins, but the even is very very expensive. Hundreds or thousands of dollars. I didn’t look at the pricing but the points needed from purchases had a lot of zeros. I would say AVOID AVOIDED this game. There are better ones like it out. This one has a few nice features and nothing special other wise to keep you wanting to comeback. Misleading ads.

Extremely disappointed

Had fun in game building and leveling, spend bunch of money as well, i usually don’t have problems supporting game i enjoy but after couple days not logging in I came back to my account erased and only option in game is to start from scratch. What in the world happened?! If server merge happened then where is my account?! Extremely disappointed.

Many bugs doesn’t give all purchased rewards

Very p2w and basic, arena/guild/5 character battle formation. It’s been done to death with added city building. Most expensive p2w I have seen in mobile.

Many rewards not rewarded after claimed, perks are monthly and weekly buy ins and are not rewarded properly. To much bugs or scam I don’t know.

This game model has been done to death but it’s wrapped in decent graphics and very busy screen, to do anything is purchase purchase purchase. It’s fun, but can buy pc/console games for more fun without constant money funnel

Not like the ads, skin for $800?

Whoever said this game is like Harvest Moon is wrong. Harvest Moon is a rp farming game, which is not what this game is. It’s another city management style game with gacha, battles, and pvp. Your buildings need characters to produce materials. You can progress without them until you hit a point where you do if you wanna continue upgrading them. You can also tell that some of the artwork is ai-generated by the hands, like one character. He has his hand hidden behind a book, which eventually comes into view due to the portrait being animated. Not only that, but one of the characters looks very similar to someone from another game (if you’ve played it, you’ll know who I’m talking about). Game has A LOT of in-game purchases for you to progress, more than I’ve seen before, and why’s the skin being sold for $800? You’re kidding, right? I have never come across a skin that cost that much. It’s outrageous! Is it cause it’s a swimsuit? I was really looking forward to playing this game based on the ads, but it’s not what I was hoping for. Big disappointment. It was fun while it lasted.

Nothing like the ads…

The game isn’t anything like the pre-release ads. It’s just another city-management sim crossed with an RPG. The graphics are nice and I respect the fact that they took the time to add in voice-overs for the characters, but don’t go into this game expecting a super detailed life sim. It’s definitely not that.

Gets exponentially harder

The beginning is very fun and easy. They lure you in with free draws because without the characters the game play is dead. Each character works in a building and provides 100x% production so with a character you make 2000 planks every 20 seconds but without you only make 200. See where I’m going with this? To get better characters in the game later on you need to spend money or get very lucky. So as you progress in level it gets harder and harder. They were really smart too because you have to spend upgrade stars on each character to level them to a certain point but there’s two classes of characters. The ones you can’t use to fight are the ones who make the good products so you’re wasting your upgrade stars on them just because you have to make products while your battlers fall behind or vice versa. Unless you play once or twice a day you’ll probably enjoy but if you check more often you’ll see how it’s slowly dragging you down.

hmmm

I gave it two stars bc the tutorial was easy to follow.

graphics-wise, we were lead to believe the game was going to look like what was pushed in the ads. I was looking forward to playing this game despite it only being available to play with an internet connection (and no offline gameplay like some other games) but the graphics just weren’t doing it for me.

I’m sure it’s a good game for others though

I don’t see the point!!!

It said town simulation… and it terrible! You can’t see the whole town, after zoom out… you can see few building… when you try to organize… it look all messy do to the way the camera.. you can’t turn….. to much stufff need to be done… the game is just terrible…

OK but too many flaws

A typical gotcha but requires a lot of time investment for an idle game. Battles have skip functions, which is helpful, but the journey daily event takes forever since it involves a lot of skipped battles plus manual selections for the puzzle mini-game embedded in it. The storyline is confusing and poorly written, and there is a lot of localization issues (Chinese texts appear at times, the title of the MC changes abruptly, translation is clunky, etc.). As you progress, you open up more settlements where you’re doing the same grind, just with different skins on the buildings.

I finally got bored and deleted the game as I felt like I was playing because I had to complete endless tasks and not because it was fun.

Fun, but…

This game is about what you’d expect from the genre, and certainly nothing new or groundbreaking. You get your daily draws, a VERY busy interface that has WAY too many buttons and icons all over the place, hyper-sexualized female characters that all look very young and sound unintelligent and helpless, and lots and LOTS of things that it constantly wants you to buy.

As with other games like this, progression will be quick at first, and then slow down so much that it becomes frustrating to play. Of course, you can spend a ton of money to make it go faster, but I’m not about to pour all of my money into a game that I’ll probably only play for a month or two.

One thing that really annoys me about this game is how ridiculously slow the indicator icons are to show up and update. The little red dots and green arrows on character portraits take FOREVER to show up, which doesn’t make any sense to me. The game knows if I have enough stuff to upgrade the person, why does it seem like it has to do some sort of intense calculation and check in with the server or something just to show the icon?

Time for a Laugh!

I like this game quite a bit, well enough that I wanted to write a positive review. I wanted to give the game five stars. Unfortunately there are several things that prevent me from doing that, such as not having enough ways to earn promotion stars to advance your characters.
All in all it’s a cute game though.

Too much Clicky Clicky

I like the art and everything, but it’s too much like other games with too many things to click and collect. Collect this, click that, upgrade this, gain 1,000 heroes…you lose track and don’t know what’s going on after a while. Played for a couple hours. I wish there was a game similar to this without so much things to do.

Ai-Generated Artwork

Cute game but the artworks are extremely AI Generated with slight modifications. Ears are missing from characters (Victoria) and strands of hair are inaccurate. Voice overs are almost the same person. Cute game but probably didn’t have the budget for voice actors or hiring commercial concept artists. Should’ve saved money by not doing voice overs.

Amazing

The game is great the interface of the system manages to make experimentation easier and keep it up what messy part is upper right of icon hopefully it will similar features to arrows to hide it or minimize cover the screen thanks 👍👍👍

Organization Pretty Please and Thank You

So far so good! But the main thing that’s bothering me is not being able to sort the cards for easy selecting i.e group all the rares together and/or by attack power and what not!

Love Everything But the Tech Issues

This game has been really fun to play so far. Defeating bosses and the event challenges are fun.

What I don’t enjoy is whenever it requires typing (such as creating a motto for the guild) it adds every tech boxes and then says I am adding a special character that cannot be sent.

This is really annoying and takes away some of the enjoyment, but overall is not the worst.

I do like the different challenges and the continued story and world building that continues throughout. The continued goals are fun and apart from the typing issues has been really fun to play.

Great game so far

Just started playing and I have to say I am enjoying it very much so far. It would be nice though if you could pan out to be able to see more of the farm land at once. It’s a relaxing no pressure game. So far no pop up ads which is a big win in my book.

Nice job

One of the greatest games on mobile this should make its way to Mac for bigger screen.

Love this game

Love this simple game and also love the characters. Wish there was more voice acting.

Not bad so far

I’ve only got a few hours in the game but it’s been enjoyable so far. Hopefully it will be able to keep me hooked.

Honestly it’s pretty fun

Coming from a destiny 2 gamer who really enjoys playing games on the phone I would say it’s not pay 2 win

Something Different

So I pre registered the game and I started playing and have been very happy with it. Something different and fresh. I can see me playing this for a long time, definitely a must play.

So fun!!

I’ve been playing for 2 hours straight now and haven’t gotten bored like most games usually.

Fun so far!

I’m loving it so far! I feel like I’m enjoying it more than some other rpgs I’ve tried recently because of the customization ability of land layouts, fighting animations and play style customization. I can’t wait to see how the game progresses

Good graphic and cannot believe this is a mobile game

The storytelling Is good, the graphic is really good, and the fact that when you upgrade the building, you are able to see how the building changing this is really a spot on a lot of game is missing this feature. I really encourage everyone to try it.

Bugs

Played it for an hour but now when I open the game I get a loading icon that ultimately times out and takes me back to the log in screen. It’s become a vicious circle of loading and timing out.

So far so good

I’m really enjoying the concept here: hero collection combined with kingdom building and stage based combat, I’m hoping it stays good. There’s some crazy expensive iap but there are also some cheap ones. There’s some “lifetime” perks that I’m not sure about but so far I haven’t felt pushed to purchase anything. Will update as time goes by!

Avonmora

Loving the game thus far. Easy and relaxing game play. Super helpful players. Give it a try! The game runs well, no lag thus far. Always something to do. Beautiful graphics.

New and Fun

Gacha style village game. So far I’m hooked. A bit slow to grow, but sits only been a day. Will update in one month. Worth trying!
