It’s okay

Some of the stories are actually really good but I find most of them to be inconsistent for example you’ll pick up a certain item in an earlier chapter then when you’re given a choice to use said item it won’t let you choose that choice also some of the stories will force you into a relationship out of nowhere when you showed absolutely no interest into that character

Crash bug

The main problem with Tales is that it keeps crashing. Despite that, I really appreciate that the market for interactive fiction is getting more competition. I hope this business does well.

Great Stories, but Premium isn’t Worth It

I loved the stories, and I decided to try the free trial for premium. I was considering doing the full year subscription until I realized some stories still required diamonds to pick certain options. I just can’t justify spending $80 on a subscription and still having to pay more for certain options.

Issue

I only read 2 chapters and I enjoyed them. After I closed Tales it now won’t load it continues to buffer repeatedly. Had to delete it since it never opened

Favorite story app

The stories are so unique and well written! There’s really nothing else like it out there. Can’t wait for new episodes.

Broke

Games doesn’t want to load anytime I click on a story and when one story actually does load you only see two girls that look alike and there is nothing in the background everything is just white. Please fix this the game looks like fun and I actually want to play it.

Buggy

Can’t even get through the loading screen. Tried to uninstall and etc and still has issues.

Love it but could be better in a lot of ways

I love the stories, they’re all written really good but I just wished we wouldn’t have to wait mid-chapter to read the next part. Like we have to wait for keys and we can’t see all the images if we don’t pay, so why do we ALSO have to wait to read the rest of a chapter??? Another thing that I was wondering about is what if the stories would show the release date of the next chapter? Then we wouldn’t have to be waiting thinking of when the next chapter is gonna be released. I think there’s also some glitches/errors in the game because a few times after I finished reading a chapter, it would take me back to that chapter. Edit: this is really weird but when I clicked to resume an episode, it took me back way farther then where I originally was and it had dialogue from a decision that I definitely did not choose. The story is Lights in the Mist, it’s one of the this app that have been having a lot of errors lately

Connectivity issue

I’m really enjoying Tales, it’s fun and the stories are interesting. The only thing I noticed was my connectivity issue. I use my data to play being that I’m not around WiFi spots a lot. Sometimes when I play I receive a notification in-game saying I can’t connect so some things might not save. I brushed it off thinking it wasn’t that big of an issue because nothing noticeable was happening. Yet, as I kept playing, I realized that stuff I did on previous episodes didn’t apply to the next episode. Example: I made decisions that gave me 1000 gold, then the next episode I only had 150. I already bought $25 worth of diamonds. Was hoping that if I restart the book, all the choices I used diamonds on would still be open to choose instead of me using more diamonds. Any information would be appreciated. Thank you!

By far the best in it’s category!

I absolutely love this game, it’s far better than the other “interactive story” style games that are out right now, and doesn’t try to scam players by forcing them to buy diamonds to make the “correct/good” decisions (You’ll know what I mean or you’ve ever played another interactive visual novel). The writing styles are very pleasing and easy to read, and the functions and choices are perfect in my opinion. After each episode it even provides a little review of your play style (something I haven’t seen in any games in the same category). There are some small glitches and bugs here and there, but the developers are pretty quick to listen to their audience and tackle them. I think it has great potential, and I would love to see where it goes!

Serious bug fixes

I really love this game the story’s but there are issues that I cannot ignore at times I feel like this is incomplete cause it crashes a lot but the story’s I read and my progress on all of them got deleted not only that I got the month unlimited subscription a week or two ago it even said I bought the subscription but for some reason the game hasn’t registered it and it just keeps crashing and now I feel like there’s no reason to even play cause all my progress just keeps getting deleted after it crashes and I just feel cheated at this point and I reported the bugs but I don’t know if they even got it it don’t feel like it

Crashes and Forgets

I started playing this, and up to Episode 6 of The Newest Hero, it was going ok. However, in Episode 6 of The Newest Hero, it started crashing a ton, over and over. This caused my progress to become really messed up. I used Gems for one of the option to convince a guy to leave the Holy Order, getting my Persuasive increased by 2 and getting 500 gold. Right after that, Tales crashed. When I reopened the story, I was past that point, but I didn’t have the money I’d gained, I HAD lost my 5 Gems, and didn’t have my persuasive boost. The same thing happened later in the same episode, where I helped the Mage catch a thief and she shared her earnings with me, getting me +150 money. It crashed after, and I lost that too, once again starting after that point with nothing I’d gained.

Stories seem good but......

Three stars only because of the little bit of story I managed to read and how well it was done. I only got to read a little bit of the story but it seemed really good. Definitely would’ve read more to see if Tales was worth purchasing a subscription however the countdown for the keys hasn’t gone down or regenerated keys at all and I haven’t gotten to read anything more. It’s really disappointing because the book I checked out did seem like it had an excellent storyline that was written very well considering it’s in a phone app. I was looking forward to reading more. Hopefully this gets fixed because from what I’ve seen, there are other users who have had or are having the same issues.

Stories Great, App Bad

I used Tales several months ago and absolutely loved it. The stories available are fantastic, and I had no qualms with he app. Unfortunately now that I’ve returned I can’t get it to work. At first it wouldn’t load at all. I reinstalled it and it worked. I then attempted to read Vampire Fiction again (because my prior progress was lost) and it only worked for a few pages before it got to where every time I press to go to the next page Tales crashes. I have up after numerous attempts, tried a different story, it also made it a few ages in but also crashes every time I try to move to the next section. I enjoy the stories when I can actually read them, unfortunately now I can’t.

For the record I’m using an IPhone 6+, it may work for newer phones.

Are you guys updating?

I love Tales it’s so fun it’s like episode, choices, and hooked all mixed in one. Are you guys gonna updated Tales because I want more and i hope it’s not discontinued. Btw, every time i log back in the game i have to keep starting over instead of leaving where I left off for example, when I play truchange, I play the first two episodes but once I wait for the next keys I have to start over again at episode one ?! it’s really annoying can you please fix this? Where can we save the progress of the game?
