The Bluetooth controls allow adjustments to the hearing aid settings. But, there are zero options to control phone calls and streaming. It’s just on. Every notification on your phone plays in the hearing aid. There is a constant “connected” or “disconnected” played as the connection picks up and drops between the phone and hearing aid. The hearing aids work fine, but the Bluetooth streaming and app are not well thought out or developed. Answering phone calls hands free would be great, but not if it comes with sounds for every phone notification or announcements on connections. Every notification also cuts off the hearing aid’s microphone, so your hearing is interrupted just before, during, and just after a notification or connection announcement.

While I am happy with the OTC hearing aids, the AP is really horrible. Main problem is every time you launch the AP the hearing aids have to reconnect which takes time.
There should also be a hearing test option to help you set the volume and profile to best suit the users need.

I previously had the pro 2s and upgraded to the ion pros and that was the best decision I’ve made! AudienionPro is easy to use and the ion pros itself is fantastic. Audien truly helped me!

I thought Bluetooth would be a hassle to get setup, but the Ion Pro linked to my phone right away It was straightforward to use without confusing menus or directions. It was straightforward and quick. Streaming calls, music, and Tv audio is now effortless. This is the easiest hearing aid I've used!
