The Frontline Education mobile app is a quick and easy way to access the
Frontline Insights Platform while on-the-go. Employees will be able to check
leave balances, create absences, view and search for fellow colleagues, and
receive web alerts right on their mobile phone. This app is...
I dare you to try contacting them.
After multiple attempts through the app and their website feedback form, nothing was getting through. As I was at peak frustration, the app popped up its “rate this app” message. Don’t mind if I do! So right away, I got a feedback response with an email to use for sending details. I wrote a very detailed message with screw grabs and all, and sent it. ...and the message bounced. So I tried AGAIN to tell them about it via feedback through the app, and THAT failed to go through. Got the “Oops!” screen. So I guess the only way to reach Frontline is through this feedback forum. So here we go again. How about you guys offer up a phone number or a real working email address so people can specify issues privately and without complaining in detail here in public? This can’t look good for you. So if you don’t include a working phone number in your next “we’re sorry you’re disappointed” email to me, I’ll just dump my specific list of issues into another review here. Maybe you’ll see it then.
Desktop site works better for me
I have never been successful in operating this app. I attempted to enter my absence today and I wanted to modify the hours for my sub. Every time I entered the end time I wanted it to be, it would give some ridiculous start time and there was no place to correct it. My point is that I have limited hours to spend on sick time, so it would be helpful if this system wasn’t trying to rob time away from me. Inevitably, I entered my absence on my desktop without hassle and was able to modify my time correctly. I think this app still needs work.
I personally like the app. I really just wish there was a running time clock. As of now it only updates your hours when you clock out. We are not allowed OT. It would definitely be easier just to open the app. and check it
Not a fan
The app seemed to work fine for a while. But, not anymore! If I clock in or out at a particular time, that should be the time documented. I don’t understand why Frontline would show “actual” time, which is the actual time I clocked in or out and then also show a random time that I clocked in or out. For instance. I clocked in at 7:24 a.m. Frontline shows 7:24 a.m. as the actual time I clocked in, but then also shows I clocked in at 7:30 a.m. The 7:30 time is what you’re showing as accurate and it’s not. You’re causing me to lose 6 minutes!! Makes no sense to me!!!
Your app is frustrating.
Your app doesn’t always launch and now you show that there’s an update but when I click that button it just takes me to the App Store and it just has the “Open” button. Nothing is updated! I really like using apps, however, this is not a very well produced one.
Love this app!
This is so much easier to use than our District’s previous system, and the fact that I can do everything from my phone is absolutely fantastic
It keeps saying there is a newer version but won’t give me the ability to update. I’m currently using 7.something and the new version is 8.0. HELP!!!
I’m sorry, but the reviews are quite accurate. Even months later, the latest update is flawed. I’m on iOS 11.3.1 and the app crashes when I try to open it. Like others, my copy used to freeze during the absence submission screen. Skipping the app and just logging in through the web which is a shame, because the Touch/Face ID would be a huge time saver.
Really nice app
I really like this program . It is easy to use and I especially like how it has dark mode so it isn’t so bright in my eyes at night
Bus driver time in and time out
It is very nice to have an actual memo at the top of the clock in an Clock out ,button so that we can see if we are Clocked in or clocked out 👍
This is the absolutely worst app I’ve ever used. It crashes every time I use it (which is every day) and The bugs are bountiful. not even worth it, i’d rather clock out in the office. I hope this update makes everything a whole lot better being that this is the 11th iteration of the app.
Easy to use
It’s so easy to use the Frontline app and I like having my leave, weekly time and absences right at my fingertips.
I can’t open the app anymore, every time I click on the icon it flashes through blank screen and then clears back to my desktop. I’ve deleted it and re-loaded it a couple of times and it will work maybe once. I’m in HR and feel bad recommending my employees use this app because it seems to be virtually worthless.
Problem with connecting to the WiFi
It crashes every time it connects to the WiFi, and shows an error when I clock in, so I’m always unsure if it did work or not, so I have to sign in to the website for verification every single morning... then, what is the use for the App?
Love this app
Quick to hear of sub openings that become available. User friendly :)
