I configured a website of mine to require a two-factor authentication. The only option I had was to use this useless app. I kept getting a configuration error, then I decided to add AuthenticatorApp to my computer, where I was confronted with a pay for continuing. I finally got past that after a half hour of trying to figure this out with little help from the Google tech help screens as I am not a tech person so it appeared to be written in some foreign language. Nothing but nothing should be this freaking complicated. Finally, I made a final try and it worked. I immediately dripped the 2-factor authentication from the website, and when I am done with this I will also drop everything else Google and leave it to the computer geeks to figure out.
Pay two times still have no receipt and no one to correct the double pay ...

I have installed AuthenticatorApp to my computer but have been unable to get the 2 step verification to work. Once i've logged in, it just continues to count down without letting me into my other app I'm trying to gt in yet requires an authentifcation app. So far, I am very dissapointed in AuthenticatorApp and I'm appalled I had to purchase it before tyring to use it, What a deceptive purchase

I found personally this was an unneccesarily complicated setup. Once I figured out what to do, the process was simple. However there needs to be simplified step by step instruction including mention of downloading app on both mobile device and computer for setup to be complete.
I was expecting from reviews that this is a FREE apt. There was no cost listed on AuthenticatorApp Store. After it was installed terms were free for 3 days and then a cost. There was no way to cancel. Seems like bait & switch to me.
This freezes and works maybe once out of 15 times. And it is very unclear how to use, too. So I have no idea what I’m doing right or wrong. How are non-techie people ever going to use this?
Trying to add google home to my phone and I have no idea what google app it wants me to open to click "yes" to verify my indentity. Opening the google app on my Mac, only shows all of the google apps. No "yes" button anywhere. Better instructions would be much appreciated.

No surprises in operation, quickly able to configure as I needed.
"No strong opinion" is a five-star rating for a utility of this sort.
I'm sure AuthenticatorApp is great. BUT....it has interrupted and distracted my 10 times in the first 1/2 hour of use to get a rating and a review. Reset the timer to give people a chance to use it before you ask for a rating!
