After a couple months the camera simply turns off and stops recording. People would walk in front of it constantly and it wouldn’t record or let me know. If people rang the doorbell it wouldn’t work unless they tried 3 times. I changed the settings to capture everything and it started recording nothing. It would record noises but not the people walking in front of my door. I wish I could have my money back to order a different camera. I message them and they take weeks to respond and never give me a solution.
I bought this camera because we moved to our first apartment and needed something bc we have sketchy neighbors and dogs that were coming upstairs and we needed video proof of it. This camera was supposed to be a cheaper alternative to the traditional ring or blink cameras because of no need for a subscription. However you do need to pay for a subscription and the playback only works for 10 second if that!!! So feature to detect a person doesn’t work so I have to run the battery faster and 1000 notifications for air. The times that I look at the live feed by the time Seeing finally loads whoever was at my door AKA Maintenance or a delivery- they are either leaving or gone because I’m not able to load in fast enough to talk to them through the camera. I reached out to support who doesn’t actually respond unless you don’t subscribe to the service, then they will only say to subscribe even if that has nothing to do with the main problem at hand. I really hope they did the bugs!! Also when you are not paying the premium you get ads and a loading screen. If I could give you 0 stars I would. This is vile. Don’t spend money on this camera!!!!!
I paid for a cloud subscription for two cameras. I was charged close to 60$ for both. Being as though my subscription was up for renewal in Sept. 2025, I cancelled the subscription. However this company restricted my access to my paid subscription services even though again I should have been able to access all membership services until my next renewal which would be due in Sept. 2025. I can't even restore my purchases as we all should have the option to do if we paid for services in advance. They are crooks to me at this point. I will be contacting apple to not only let them know about them restricting my access to services I paid for but also to inform them that these cameras do not operate as advertised. They do not pick up anything unless there is activity right in front of the camera and even then I don't see much. Additionally Seeing moves slow and since they removed my access to membership services, I have to watch ads before I can even see what's happening on my camera. This is the worst experience ever and I will be using adt as I should have done in the first place.
One of the worse video cameras I have ever purchased in my entire life, there have been people who have walked right in front of my door and the video never captured them, DoorDash deliveries never captured. It takes forever to connect. I’ve had instances where even trying to connect outside of the home has taken several minutes or attempts to login. I would urge everyone reading this review to not purchase this if you’re looking for it to capture any events/actions that may happen at your front door. It doesn’t catch my car pulling out of the garage at 2 miles per hour, doesn’t catch me reversing into my driveway either and when I tell you, all of this is strictly in the vision of the Camera, it catches nothing. If you want something, that’s literally just a doorbell that you can catch whoever is ringing your doorbell then buy this, for any other security measurements I would avoid purchasing this.
It is literally impossible for me to purchase a subscription to the cloud storage service. No matter how I access the subscription prompt, after I click the button it gives me no options to submit payments and does not activate any service. The developer has made their website as such that you cannot contact customer service, and there are no options to purchase a subscription through a browser, only through Seeing which DOES NOT WORK. This is only good for live view, which is not at all what I needed. Returning the camera for a refund. Incredibly aggravating.
Video not great it load slow to show you what’s going on wish their where better attachments for an apartment door and to rotate the camera as well if you need to. Paid for the cam but was un aware that it’s super expensive each month to keep your videos in stead of it saving to your phone videos it save to Seeing and they keep your video like hostage so you can’t see them until you pay from 30 callers for six months to 100 for a year ten dollars should be more then enough the product is cheaply built and expensive to have which tells me the owner care more about his pockets then quality.
I contacted the company when I saw that the only thing I could see was a still picture of no use. I was assured that I should be this app a moving image, even without a service plan. I chose to get the service plan based on the information provided by the company. Much to my disappointment I am still receiving a still image and when I checked the cloud all that was there was a several minutes of a still image. To boot, there appeared to be no sound whatsoever… I sure can’t say I’d recommend this product or service! I downloaded Seeing from their website and still haven’t been able to get a moving image or for that matter any image unless I opened Seeing manually… I may not be the “best” at following instructions. Being an electrical engineer, but I can spot when said instructions leave a lot to be desired. I don’t feel I should have to spend any time on a company’s website to get their most basic model up and running! (Especially when they provide paper instructions for setting the darn thing up. Three different degrees in three different fields, think I have seen my share of instructions and know how to read them. Be more than happy to discuss them with someone from the company that is not an AI.
I am very upset because I fell in love with the first camera that I purchased. Highly recommended it to others and also purchased another for my home. The 2nd that I purchased is defective. It does not hold a charge and it constantly goes offline. It has not been great at all and the quality has declined ever since I purchased it. I reached out to support several times about this and they were dragging out assisting me and then just stopped responding. I am very patient and kind with my communications so that was totally unacceptable. I’m so upset because now I’m stuck with a defective item and will have to try out another company because I will never purchase from them again
Me and my fiancé had to get this camera due to some issues with our neighbors, and the picture quality for it is great.
However, the fact that you have to pay for a subscription to download captured clips is ridiculous. I could understand to some degree having to have the subscription to watch the clips through Seeing . But it’s not just that. You can’t even download the clips without the subscription.
There’s ads everywhere like as if I’m on Temu or something, and I can’t even download captured clips without a subscription. Then what’s the point of a security camera where I can’t even download the clips without without having to pay for them?!
I like the quality of the video but there are a few options that is needed. A manual record option. Seeing takes FOREVER to load the live video even when the WiFi signal is strong. I’ve had trouble with people jumping over my fence and the camera doesn’t catch it. Only when they are inside the house. There is no trial period for the membership and no free version of this as well. I do like how it rotates through Seeing and how easy it is to mount. I did however had to use my own screws since the ones it came with quickly stripped.
When I first brought it was sweet, easy to install, worked properly for only about a month. Then all of a sudden they needed charged every other week, it only records when the object is steps away from the camera, never picks up motion from afar, one stopped working completely didn’t even capture the mailman daily, ran out of storage which I’m paying for one camera already and I’m not about to pay for two. Can no longer even see what’s going on live so it’s just for decoration atp. I would only recommend you get if you needed something temporarily. I will be upgrading sooner than I thought.
My doorbell camera system was working fine until today! I’m not getting any videos of people coming to my place and there’s been several people coming over. I got this wireless doorbell camera system bc I’m disabled and this was so needed to save me some steps. I subscribed to Seeing thinking it would make things easier for me, but today it’s not working at all. And I can’t get any help to get it fixed. If I don’t hear from someone soon, I’m going with a different system. And why don’t you have a phone number??? JM
I was truly shocked at how clear the video is! They also hold a charge for a very long time! I have only had to charge mine like once a week! They’re totally worth it. The only that I don’t like is that you have to pay for memory for EACH camera if you want to record. (Which is nuts) However! I still highly recommend, but that is definitely information I would have like to known. Thanks!!
When I first got the camera, I struggled with getting the connection, but eventually got it. I love the camera, however, my issue is with the delay of accessing a Live View of the camera when I’m away from home. Under WiFi, it would access just fine but still had a slight delay when it says a motion at the front door. It doesn’t always register and send the notification so I can see fast enough. When I click on the notification, it loads for a good few minutes before accessing it and by time it loads…whoever it was are now gone in or left the property. So, the delay is my biggest issue when I’m away from home. Sometimes it doesn’t notify me that someone just left out the front door. I have it right where it picks up when the front door opens and I know it should pick up when we leave home because it do every time I open my front door to walk it I get a phone notification. My niece goes out and it barely picks her up and I’m not sure why. She can’t avoid it because it’s right there. Anyway, I still like the camera though.
It’s been a little over 30 days since I purchased and installed my device-so far the video quality is way better than 1 prior product I’ve tried and about the same as the other 2nd product I’ve tried. Overall I’m currently pleased with the results. I would suggest however: Providing a Custom Service number also for typical issues and concerns. And modifying the 3 minutes recording time within Seeing to longer durations if needed or wanted by the Customer. THANKS
Camera quality is good and it sends notifications when there is movement. However, Seeing could use optimization. For example, once you’re viewing the camera you can’t do anything else on your device. It’ll immediately take you out of the camera view. It gets quite frustrating when you’re trying to watch out for something and simply try and put the brightness up on your device then you have to wait for the camera to load again. It seems like something minor but it gets quite frustrating especially when it happens repeatedly.
The camera I got was affordable which is great and the quality is actually really good for how much I spent. The only issue I have is that the motion detection switch randomly switches off and it doesn’t record any motion detection and I don’t know it’s switched off until I open and check Seeing . I got this camera for safety purposes and it’s kind of annoying that it randomly switched off when I need it most. But I did get the camera for cheap so I guess I can’t complain too much but I hope this is a bug in Seeing that can get fixed.
You see everything in view and can hear with clear audio and visual as well. You also can talk through the intercom. I charge them maybe once a week or more depends on the number of times the camera catches motion.. You will need Wi-Fi and to subscribe in order to view and record the footage.
Security cameras are ok. It takes about 15-20 to load images. If you buy a one year subscription, it'll only be for one camera. So if you have more than one camera, you'll need to purchase more than one subscription. Also, your camera will let you know about movement but can't see the past images unless you have a subscription as well. Other than that, it serves its purpose for the mean time! Easily able to install!
I just received my camera system today n hooked it up within 30 mins. I’m giving a 5 star review due to the simplicity of the set up as well as the clarity of the camera n the video it captures. I can’t wait til this evening to see how well it works at night. I’m thinking about ordering another for the back door! The only issue I see so far is sharing the account access. My son is having trouble getting to log in, but I will soon figure it out for him. Thank you for making a great product
This company is terrible and very understandable 🙄 DO NOT purchase their products . My subscription was cancelled as soon as I paid it 😡
the camera will let you view video from it for a while then that is blocked by a popup then all you will see is a static image of a capture, or maybe if you subscribe to their overpriced fees which I did not, also does not trigger unless a warm object is 5 feet away.

Worked great for 88 days then shit off .. it’s telling me to sign up ,, it’s telling me to log in .. nothing works
I paid for a yearly subscription to be able to view videos on my doorbell. It started October 2025. I am no longer able to access the videos on the app. It says I need to pay for a subscription even though it is only March 2026. I paid for a years subscription and received six months. I do not recommend this app nor do I recommend any of their devices.
I can not find contact information anywhere. All that's available on the app is the subscription page.

There is a pop up for a subscription. When you X it out and try to get to your feed, it appears again. I've tried to get clarification on how to bypass and no response.
