Firstly, I do not appreciate how Mila takes you to a third party website to create an account and make a payment (even before you can begin a free trial!). I don’t trust it when I have to pay something outside of the AppStore.
Secondly, after I grudgingly signed up for a free trial and “have shown up for myself” 5 days, I can honestly say I expected more. Mila seems premature. I feel like more work should’ve been put into videos. In many of the videos I’ve seen, Camilla rambles, is out of breath sometimes to the point where it’s difficult to understand her, has problems positioning herself in the space, doesn’t have a good flow of exercises, etc. It just seems unprofessional to offer this product at quite a steep monthly price when it’s that underbaked.
I also can’t go back and select a different energy level for the day?? Not sure if it’s a glitch or by design. I’ve found the videos have little to do with actual energy levels. Today I selected “high” and there’s a 3-minute talk, a video doing push-ups on the chair, and a what seems like an outdoors yoga session? I’d like to go back and check if there’s more appropriate content for me today under other energy levels but I can’t.
All in all, I will not be a subscriber because the quality of the product does not seem on par with the monthly subscription price. I can get better exercises for free online. Very sorry to see that as I was excited for Mila .

I was super excited to follow the journey of Mila being made considering the platform you and your wife have and I guess I just thought it would’ve been made for “ everyone” in the aspect of a good mind set and healthy environment, I wish it was shared more on your platform that you would charge for Mila. You won’t even be able to “log in” to see what your paying for . Maybe add a few previews so people know what they would be charged for .

I was so excited to try this out as a recovering ED victim and as a student with little to no time or money for other options. When I say I could only do a 7 day free trial before having to pay as much as I would be to actually see if I enjoy it I was a little disappointed. I understand that a profit needs to be turned and it’s newly on the market so it’s competing with a lot of other apps, but as a long time fan of the Camilla I’m a little sad.

I have been a fan of cam for a while so when she launched Mila I jumped head first and paid upfront for a year. I wish I would have tried the free trial first honestly. I would have found out before committing that Mila is geared towards beginners and people who need a slow start. I did the first 30 days and while none of the exercises were enough for me personally, I can see them being nice for beginners. Some of the form isn’t the greatest and could use some technique. If you are looking for more of a heavier longer workout, I wouldn’t suggest Mila . But for beginners I think it’s a good start!

First off, I want to say I’ve never loved a workout app this much. I know some people are disappointed with the subscription, but I really don’t see why. This is Camilla’s job, of course she has to charge for this service. It wouldn’t be worth her time or effort otherwise. I also have never consistently worked out this much. I’ve been using Mila for almost two months, and have worked out nearly every day. There has only been a couple days I haven’t, and that was because of chronic pain issues I can’t control. I enjoy the exercises and how accessible they feel. Most apps assume you can go full force into the workouts and exercises, and then I just feel disappointed when I’m not at that level yet and stop using Mila . However, I am experiencing bug issues where videos won’t load and I’m told to come back later. Some days the video never loads at all and I can’t watch it. Currently, with the series there are times I need to favorite a video and mark it as done so I can actually do a workout and then return to the unwatchable video later. I understand it’s a new app and so there will be glitches and issues, it’s just a tad frustrating when I see Mila was updated the same day, yet the issues I’m having aren’t resolved. Other than that, I adore Mila. I imagine I’ll use it for quite a while before ending my subscription. Thank you Camilla!

I am 15 and a longtime follower of this lovely couple and I am so happy that Camilla finally got her app!!! However I do wish there was a free option even if it gave way less choices. This would allow younger people like me how don’t have their own money yet ❤️

I have been on a long work training trip and needed to move. The hotel is drab and training is long. I managed to get to the hotel gym, did a little .5 mile run it’s all I could do until I was bored and went back up my room. I opened up Mila and did my first yoga session with Mila and oh my gosh. Usually I feel so embarrassed and unprepared for yoga videos I just am not perfect at the moves, but with this I felt like I was included and was just happy to be there. She is so inspirational!! Every word she said hit me to my core and made me feel proud of myself. I have worked hard and it is so good to be moving and I should allow myself to feel proud of that! At the end of the session I felt so relieved I cried! I have been trying to get myself to work out for MONTHS and its such a discouraging process. But this felt so right and so freeing and so welcoming. I am so happy she made this for all of us and I can’t wait to move some more tomorrow. Thank you! Please Download Mila it will always be worth it (even if you download it and don’t open it immediately it will be worth it when you do ❤️)

Mila was clearly made with pure love and thought towards its users. The guidance is top tier compassion mixed with mindful motivation to let you know your body is worth it no matter where you are in life. I’ve done the first workout with zero pain in the knees, hips, or wrists which are usually areas I have to modify moves for. Past injuries make certain movements extremely difficult and hearing that all form is a bit different really pushed me through the workouts 💖 I could not recommend Mila or the trainers/creators enough!

I️ have never written an app review in my life but this app deserves one. It’s only been 4 days and this app has already helped transform the way I️ think about fitness, movement, food, and my body. The feature to choose workouts based on your energy level is so refreshing. I️ love that one of the activities you get to check off is a motivational talk from Camilla. When I️ get to check it off as “done,” it makes me want to check off the workouts too. Therefore, I️ have been so motivated to move each day and complete the activities. I️ love the variance in the workouts and I’m finding types of movements I️ didn’t have experience with or know I️ could love. Camilla is so funny and kind and sweet and I️ will tell everyone about Mila forever. It’s cheaper than a gym membership and so valuable. Thank you for this gem, Camilla. And thank you for teaching me out to find joy in movement.

I originally downloaded this as support to one of my favorite creators online, Camila Lorentzen. But it really is unlike any other fitness app. As someone who struggled with an ED, being told during workouts that “you’re not here to impress anyone” and the goal isn’t losing weight, really helps. I also love that even if you miss a day, your counter doesn’t go back to zero. It’s the little things in Mila and videos that go a long way. You can tell Camila put her heart and knowledge to work and it does not go unnoticed.

I have been wary of launching my way back into exercise ever since I recovered from an eating disorder. Every time I tried to get back into it, just to be healthy and support my joints, I found myself falling into the trap of constantly thinking about weight loss. I’ve been excited for Mila for a while, but I was blown away by it. From the first day, Camilla emphasizes that movement and exercise is about making time and joy for YOU, for supporting your body no matter it’s size. From the learning portion to the exercise videos, Camilla is an encouraging and thoughtful voice. I have never seen a fitness app that actively rejects weight loss as a goal! Videos are clear and easy to follow. I never truly understood how to engage my core, but now I do! I am so excited to join the this app team. It is so clear that SO much thought was put into every single aspect of Mila. I highly recommend it to anyone!

Mila has done so much for me, not only does it coach you through exercises that can be modified for any level but it coaches you through the self esteem issues we have likely all faced in our life. I’ve struggled with diet culture my whole life and every time I’ve lost weight I just gained it back. But I wanted to turn a new page and just live a healthy life where I’m actually happy. However, with that comes a lot of mental struggle telling me I’m not doing enough, I’m going to get even fatter, etc. Because of that, I often give up any time I try to start working out again. Camilla’s app has made me exercise every day since I got it. I’ve never experienced a fitness app that got you to move in such a positive way, in a way that makes you feel good about yourself. The positivity keeps bringing me back, and her 3-5 minute videos talking us through mental issues in fitness have made such a huge impact in my motivation every day. Thank you so much Camilla for helping me view exercise differently and helping me to feel better about myself, one video at a time ❤️

I absolutely did not even hesitate to write a review for Mila. It is SO SO AMAZING, just like its creator, Camilla!! I have had soooo many personal trainers in the past but never have I had such a strongly guided mind and body connection during my workouts. I have also lost weight and gained it back and realized losing weight doesn’t fix body image issues, I still hated my body even when I was at my most fittest. Camilla UNDERSTANDS this and actually helps you to work on your relationship with yourself and your body also while building sustainable habits to maintain your goals. The workouts and tasks you get each day are based on your energy level AND THEY ARE ACTUALLY DO-ABLE. Making it so much easier to feel accomplished- even if you only do one activity that was 5 minutes. If you have struggled with your body image and creating lasting change, I URGE you to get Mila, invest in yourself and let Camilla coach you through it. I love you Camilla, Mila has changed me and helped me in so many ways. I’m truly so grateful Mila exists right now.

I’ve struggled with being underweight my whole life and have tried Noom before for tracking nutrition and movement, and every time I tried to say I wanted to gain weight the algorithm switched it to losing weight. It basically had me saying I wanted to lose ten pounds when I was already only 102. And as someone who struggles with not having enough weight, it’s really hard to have to see “lose weight lose weight lose weight” plastered everywhere and drilled into your head.
I’ve only done one session so far but I already love Mila! Camilla is so positive and encouraging. It makes it fun to workout.

All I can really say about Mila and to Camila is thank you 🥹 I have been following her tik tok and instagram for about 2 years now and I have been soo excited to see Mila come to life. I have struggled with body image for YEARS, and that in turn affected my self confidence. I love working out and moving my body but I have the worst consistency issues and motivation problems 😔 so Mila feels like my last hope… Camila has truly created something special. She wants everyone to be healthy yes but most importantly wants them to FEEL HAPPY while doing so. Mila feels different than anything I have tried so far. I cannot wait to see where it can take me! this app is the best health and fitness app and program I’ve ever came across! The program doesn’t just tell you to workout and push yourself but rather helps form and solidify healthy mindsets. Mila is overall a great physical fitness app but also a great mental health tool regarding the world of fitness. Camila has absolutely outdone herself through her calming voice, healthy mindsets and sharing the most raw version of herself to let us know that we are not alone in feeling this way! I love Camila, I have followed her for years and the way she loves herself and encourages others to love themselves is so inspiring. After doing a few sessions, I can honestly say you will feel pushed to do your best while also feeling safe and validated when you might need to take it a little easier with some of the different options she provides to get you moving at whatever level you are comfortable with. She ends every session with so much affirmation that I actually cried a couple times finally feeling like what I can do is enough. I cannot recommend it more.

I have been on the waitlist for Mila since the moment Camilla first mentioned it! She is genuinely the most wonderful guide to exercising your body out of LOVE, not hate or restriction. Her workouts were perfect for me and she even lists how to adjust it to make it easier or harder for your need. You also get to choose your energy level BEFORE your workouts appear so you don’t have to scroll around and get decision fatigue trying to figure out what you’re capable of that day. 10/10 for my app and workout experience and I just can’t say enough how happy I am to be a part of the this app community!!

I am loving that app so far but when I airplay it to my tv, the video stops playing when my screen locks (I'm not in low power mode). Would be great if the video keeps playing on airplay even if phone locks or if there was some way to not get the phone screen to time out during airplay.
Also the help and faqs page currently leads to a not found website!
I'm sure you'll get Mila in a good place since it's very new but I just thought the feedback would be helpful since $9.99 is an investment for me and I want to make it worth my $$.

Mila is wonderful! As someone who wanted to move more besides walking, i was struggling to find a balance between finding a workout routine that was good for me without falling into unhealthy thinking patterns. Mila is great for providing the structure to move everyday, ranging from stretching to strength building, and the exercises are easy to build off of if you need to make them either more or less difficult! This has really helped me just want to move more in a healthier mindset and gives a good range of activities, i would recommend it to anyone who wants to exercise/move more but has struggled starting.

The positivity is amazing with Mila. Camilla does a great job motivating and emphasizing doing what’s best for you body doesn’t look the same from person to person. If your looking for an app that’s positive and all about getting yourself to move, whether it’s five minutes or longer, this is that app. I can’t put aside time to exercise consistently and this is the only app that doesn’t concentrate around goals of loosing weight or getting stronger, but instead building healthy habits in whatever way that is to you. Just an amazing, well built fitness app where I can finally feel positive about moving my body!

Like many young girls I have moved my body for years in wanting to change it, but I have recently found a love for the way moving makes me feel and I am done moving out of self hatred. So far these workouts have helped me feel great mentally and physically. The positive messages throughout the workout help me to keep going to the end. I have also been suffering from back pain for years, and usually working my back or core makes it feel worse. With Camilla’s clear instructions on form, my back currently has no pain after my first workout! This is the BEST app for at home work outs. I have been using it for a couple weeks and it is so encouraging. I really like how many modifications there are for each exercise, i have usually seen in videos that they give you a movement and then say “if that’s too hard try this” but in these videos they give you the option of a movement and provide options to make it more difficult. This small change has really helped me and pushed me to try the harder movements throughout the rounds of each video. I also love the feature of a new video everyday! It helps so you don’t have to pick what to do it is already chosen for you(and I usually go and do a old favorite after the new one because they are so fun!)

I never write reviews on apps, but this one is an exception. It’s pretty much everything my adhd brain could ask for - not diet focused, not overwhelming, gives positive reinforcement, allows you to do things in bite sized pieces. This is the first time I’ve felt good about myself using an exercise app even on my bad days. The guided walks are beyond the best work out feature I’ve ever found. Best of all, Camilla feels like a friend in all the content. She’s genuine and accessible and makes everything health and fitness related feel possible.

I have been following Camilla’s journey since the beginning, and I’m so excited to try Mila. I was so stored of seeing all these Instagram models sharing “eat this and lose 10 pounds in 3 weeks!” Or obsessing about making their bodies “perfect”. Watching these videos helps me understand that as long as I feel good, I don’t ever have to focus on looking a certain way. I’ve been using Mila for almost 3 weeks now and I absolutely love it. I like picking my energy level and I love that if I miss a day it doesn’t reset the counter. I had some issues with my bank denying the charge because it’s out of country and Cam was super helpful and patient while I got it figured out! I’ve never liked exercising but I’ve found myself looking forward to it after using Mila . I also love the learning videos, they’ve helped me change ny way of thinking!

Honestly, I was fairly pumped for Mila…I love Camilla and her approach to body positivity and focusing on yourself. But I like it even more than I thought. The videos are great. From the start Mila has made me feel comfortable, and I’m actually excited to open it everyday! It’s all about body positivity, and self love. I’ve always struggled with fitness apps as a person trying to recover from eating disorders, but Mila is just lovely! It doesn’t focus on weight loss or trying to look a certain way, but rather puts the emphasis on trying to feel good overall. It’s a great app for those who may be trying to heal their relationship with working out or food, so I would highly recommend Mila for anyone who relates to those :)

I’m a single mama to a Wild Boy. I’ve been out of the gym for years and longing to get back to a healthier version of me for myself and my son. I’ve been following this app and love what she stand for. I was still nervous starting my first exercise. But, it was perfect! I love how she truly explains every step and I love the different variations she gives. I didn’t feel like a failure if I couldn’t do an exercise properly. She have helpful hints so I can take it as my body is capable and was encouraging the whole time.

I stumbled upon Camila and Julie while scrolling through Tik Tok years ago. Cam's infectious charm and energy really motivates me. And for most of us who struggle to develop a habit of movement and carrying for our bodies - Cam challenges me not to "get in shape" but get to know my body. After 7 Days, I can't tell you everything - but I would certainly say if you want to press the big RESET button on your mindset around food and health and body image - the this app app seems to be a sure fire way to get started.
