Not for people who actually want to exercise

I was really looking forward to the diese App app and became a founding member. What I love is that it‘s body neutral - I hate nothing more than fitness trainers telling me to lose weight or to look a certain way. But that‘s about it. The workouts are very short and not challenging at all. For someone who is active on a regular basis I would not recommend it.

Can’t access without subscription

I don’t like how you can’t access the app at all without a subscription (that you have to sign up for externally in your browser)
I understand the app being a paid product, I wouldn’t offer it for free either, but I would’ve loved for there to be a demo area without having to give away your credit card information (even if the first 7 days are free and you can cancel anytime!)

Die Message Mila finde ich super, sie ist nicht zum abnehmen sondern um Kraft zu bekommen und seinen Körper lieben zu lernen. Leider finde ich, dass in den Workouts zu viel geredet wird und sehr viel Zeit nur mit zuhören und schauen von Übungen verbracht wird. Ein große Minuspunkt ist auch, dass eine Anmeldung ausschließlich über die Website möglich ist, wo die Kreditkartendaten eingegeben werden müssen.
Ich glaube mit einfach YouTube-Workouts in verschiedenen Playlists hätte das gleiche auch funktioniert.

I am sure the app is wonderful (just like Julie and camilla 🫶) but for me, I’m a teenager, it’s too expensive, thats a bit disappointing 😕 but I still gave 4 stars because the message is so important and it was made with so much love 💕

the app ist such a safe space and it helped me to move more! I love the Learn sessions & also the way Cam guides though the workouts. I would love to have strength sessions for the back! And longer sessions especially yogaflows. Maybe a longer video on a weelky basis ◡̈
If you are struggling with self sabotage this app ist for you! Camilla will help you rewrite your brain!

Great App with some room for improvement

Love the app, love the content, love the design choices and the variety of exercises/walking/educational content!

However, I would like an option to filter by category, for example only showing the mobility exercises or the strength videos. I would also like to be able to filter out the educational videos (since I’m gonna do them once and don’t need to see them in the overview). That would be very helpful!

But other than that: I really enjoy it! I have already found it quite helpful to do a little every day and I am starting to see a shift in mindset.
I also just want to say thank you! The app and especially Camillas contagious smile have brightened some of the not so good days.

Great Concept, but energy level’s don‘t always fit

I love the idea of just moving your body a little each day instead of trying to do huge workouts and failing. Camillas voice is so motivating and calming anf she is great at capturing my attention and pushing me. I like that you can alter the workouts depending on your fitness level, I notice that sometimes I do the exercises on the „hardest“ level anf sometimes on the „easiest“, depending on the muscle group.
The only thing I noticed that the daily exercises don’t always match up to the energy level I chose. Last week I chose „high energy“ and got 2 talking videos and one 10-minute cardio exercise. Today, I chose „low energy“ and got 30-min fullbody workouts. I would recommend limiting Camilas learning-videos to max. 1 for high energy and have some sort of time-limit for low energy because I just don’t have the energy for 30mins today and are now frustrated that I won’t „finish“ my exercises for the day.

Revolutionary!

What Camilla created with this app is nothing short of revolutionary. Instead of focusing on „no pain no gain“, she created a program that keeps in mind your mental and physical health and focuses on celebrating the small wins. From a professional standpoint (holistic massage therapist) this program is also outstanding. Camilla makes sure people understand as best as they can how to do an exercise. She takes the time to show tips on how to gain a good posture for each one and offers a couple warm up exercises to minimize injuries. The app is also very inclusive, exercises can be done by all body types, she reminds people constantly to take a break or modify exercises if they’re to hard, workouts are short and to the point, but still very effective. The learning videos are eye opening and very motivating, Camilla has now become my personal therapist 😂

Dear Camilla, I don’t know where to start so I’m gonna be prompt : your app is the most fantastic thing that I’ve done for me in a very very long time! I’ve been following yours and Julie‘s start into parenthood since I have given birth to my own child two weeks ahead of yours. So I have had some similar experiences as you both had, within the last six months. Barely any sleep, tears of joy, excitement, and overwhelmed, fright, anxiousness, and all the other feelings one has when being a parent to a newborn. My body was a house for this little new life for more than nine months. It has given birth to, a second child which was born with almost 5 kg. I hoped to get back in my former shape very quickly, but also realised how difficult it is to have a newborn and a three year old. you just need freaking amounts of energy. Taking care of my children was my priority but I realised that if I don’t take care of myself, I won’t be able to. So you hang on to old patterns, old recommendations, which I have learned and internalised over the last two decades. Cut calories to lose weight, workout every single day, but do at least 30 minutes because otherwise it’s not worth it. I quickly realised, that this is not possible, that I don’t have 30 minutes on hand, to do an uninterrupted workout. And so I did, what I also usually do: I gave up on taking care of me to focus primarily on the children. But since I hang out on YouTube for my free time I noticed, that your app was now published. And here I was watching your first introductory video while breastfeeding my newborn. And I realised, that I have it in me too change just a little bit. I knew that I didn’t wanna step on the scale every single day to define my worth. I knew that I wanted to change, but in a way that last even in hard times. And I saw that you are on the verge of giving me the tools I needed. I am now on my second day of the diese App app and I am already at moderate energy level. And I think that the first couple of words you said already motivated me so much, that I am now confident enough to take a couple of minutes a day to shift my focus and do it finally just for me. To take time out of my busy care working day just for me. To take space and energy for me, so that I can be not just enough for my children but also enough for me. Dear Camilla, thank you!

The Concept is great, Camilla is gorgeous, workout are plentiful and adaptable. Only things I would love are more payment methods and some way of sorting options by category for your saved favourites. Love to be a part of the diese App movement!

Ich kenne Camilla von Instagram und mag ihre Inhalte dort sehr! Mit Mila hat sie einen wunderbaren Ort geschaffen, in dem es wirklich um Gesundheit geht. Es geht nicht ums abnehmen oder Diäten und genau das ist so heilsam. Es geht darum, den Körper zu stärken und den Fokus darauf zu legen, was der Körper kann. I was excited ever since the app was announced and I am really loving it so far. I like that you don’t have a million different workouts to choose from and that it’s not just like every basic fitness app. The messages are very supportive and Camilla radiates sooo much energy that it’s hard to not have fun with it.

I like that the videos make sure to encourage you to move your body with a healthy motivation and makes you feel included no matter what.

It’s just the first day of me using the app.. but it instantly was amazing logging in to it and see what kind of app that really is. I love that this app is to focus on yourself and your wellbeing instead of looks 🫶 I’m just amazed by how much effort Camilla put into this app and into helping us to feel better and get good habits going ☺️

I can‘t say too much since it‘s the first day of the app and the first day I‘m seeing it obviously but I just watched the welcome video and I am really impressed and excited. This app seems to be just what I needed to establish a healthier lifestyle without restricting me and telling me my body is not good enough like it is right now.

As a person who has struggled with an ED since 14 years old, I think this is gonna help me big time. Camilla does a great job and her voice is also very calming haha. I always wanted to try working out without falling back into my routine of eating as little as possible and to burn as much calories but every workout app is basically that. So thank you for creating something a little bit healthier for the mental health as well. 🩷🩷🩷
