this app feels less intuitive to use than the original app. the ui seems more cluttered. when i try and post an observation for some reason it tried posting two observations instead of one and then crashed. also i donβt like how you have to wait for one observation to upload in order to upload more observations, it just takes too much time. can someone tell me what features besides ai this app adds over the other one?

I was so excited when I saw the msg about the new version of the iNaturalist app, but got disappointed when I tested it. One of the things I miss the most once I convert to IPhone a couple of years ago, is my Android version of iNaturalist. Photographing and registering nature had become my favorite hobby because of the app. Apple version is awful. Not only the layout but also not being able to edit photos, etc. this current version is for sure better than the previous one, but still not good as the android version and not being able to select more than one photo at once should be fixed also. I still appreciate the platform and the app and hope this one will get close to the android version. β€οΈ

jumping in here immediately from the old inat app + web browser user to upload a picture of a bird i saw in a tree today and i'm immediately swarmed with different options for the tree's ID. I'm sure that it was plenty accurate if i was looking to ID the tree but i just wasn't! i could go back and finagle the ID but i did have to save it with a tree ID first. just a bit too much extra messing around if i wanted to upload something quickly. I do like the new UI changes otherwise though
