OTCHealthSolutions has consistently shown the in store shopping credentials that belong to someone else! When I presented the barcode at the CVS register, they told me the account was for someone with an entirely different surname and living in a different state. I did report the issue to CVS via their customer support line, but they showed little interest in addressing this important issue. Waited a few days to see if the issue was just related to an end of year change over, but the issue has persisted.

OTCHealthSolutions is a horribly poor attempt at programming. Not quite sure that they any idea of what is really needed for user input or how the prompts are normally presented in an actual user friendly app. You usually get timed out prior to completion of your product selection. No scanning capability as advertised in the furnished instructions. Should never have been released to the public in this development condition.

Have to login every time I use OTCHealthSolutions . Terrible! No Face ID?!?!? What year was this written? The OTC benefit items are almost exclusively cvs brand items. I’ll probably ditch the Aetna plan next year as this benefit is not worth the hassle.

I placed an order on August 2nd. The confirmation said it would arrive on August 6th. Still no order. All my contact information is correct. Called Customer support, they gave me UPS’s number to contact. It came by USPS two weeks later.
It would be a whole lot easier if I could use my monies for the same product in the store (which is out of pocket) vs ordering it through OTCHealthSolutions.

I just joined Devoted Health Medicare AZ and they’re contracted with CVS OTCHS for OTCHealthSolutions.
What a horrible app!!! Right at the start after setting up the account, whenever you open OTCHealthSolutions , you have to enter your email and login information manually (separate screens). There’s no way to set to use saved email & password login info, let alone Face ID w/iPhone. There’s no logout option from within OTCHealthSolutions either. This alone is reason I gave only one star.
I don’t know how CVS backed app is so crappy. It’s not even offered as a launch point from CVS app, it’s a standalone app only.

Just so annoying to try and install an app and it not only fails but boots you to start from scratch. Gave up after 2 try’s. Phone number provided for support does not provide support but rather takes you to an ordering automated system.

OTCHealthSolutions will not let you ever sign into your account. Keeps saying wrong password. Changed password and still says wrong password. Maybe who ever is programming OTCHealthSolutions will someday get it right. I am deleting OTCHealthSolutions from my phone. Sorry CVS, you are losing money with this non functioning app.

We keep getting app updates, and still OTCHealthSolutions is the WORST pharmacy app of the Health Insurance Companies. Over & over, we work on creating an order, only to get the msg “Oh, oh, something went wrong. Try again.” Or, trying to open OTCHealthSolutions & it freezes in the process of opening! You can’t set OTCHealthSolutions up to open with Face or Touch ID. I could go on with more problems, but I’m getting frustrated just typing this review!

Unable to view my OTC reward information, but I can see Julie Craig lives in Minnesota, and that her OTC rewards card and info are now somehow linked to my profile… hopefully just that.

OTCHealthSolutions is worthless. It’s supposed to allow you to scan an item to see if it’s covered under the program and the scanner is “coming soon”. That tech isn’t hard and is readily available in other apps. The entire OTC program stinks. I tried to buy liquid tears, allergy meds, Kleenex, and everything was not included in their program.

Worthless app. Leave it to CVS to screw things up. The in-store scan feature has been saying “coming soon” since January! It’s now mid-April!
If this is acceptable to Aetna Advantage members, I’ll be switching Advantage Plans at next Medicare enrollment period. 😡

OTCHealthSolutions is buggy and can’t even show basic information linked to insurance benefits. Completely useless and even the FAQ just flashes continually. Looks like they hired someone’s gamer cousin with no IT experience to develop this. Uninstalling as it’s of no service.

I don’t have much time left. Thanks for wasting my entire morning as I patiently tried in vain to get this colossal failure of an app to place a simple order of three items. So frustrating!

Not sure how long OTCHealthSolutions has been around, one of only apps I use that won't remember my password (what a pain in the butt). Wonder how long the bar code scan has been "coming soon"?.
Until I can scan with barcode OTCHealthSolutions is pretty useless, my Atena plan OTC online catalog is so stinking tiny to read on my phone and difficult to match tiny numbers to the matching product on the shelf. Whenever I click on link to shop online OTCHealthSolutions kicks me back to the log in page again🤷🏼‍♀️
My sisters Atena OTC plan has an app that actually scans product and tells her within seconds if it's a plan eligible product. Until I can do the same with OTCHealthSolutions it pretty useless.

App is extremely slow to load even on new iPhone 15 making it useless to use in the store. It won’t remember user name or password. It takes forever to close. It is worthless.

Wth isn’t there an option for a family balance? If you have kids plan on making separate accounts, taking pictures of the bar codes and checking out separately at the store. Stupid. Fix it CVS.

Keeps shutting me out leaving me no time at all to actually look up items and making me log back in with password. Buggy as all get out.

Created an account and started to use it, but OTCHealthSolutions froze. I tried closing OTCHealthSolutions and reopening it, but now everything about my account is blank. Then tried creating an account on another phone, but since I already have an account active, I can’t create an account or login on another phone at all. Does not function.

App does not allow biometric access, nor allow one’s pw to be saved. Feedback option in OTCHealthSolutions errors out. App needs updating!

Downloaded OTCHealthSolutions for the barcode scan feature. It has said "coming soon" for a very long time. Don't advertise a feature that doesn't and never will exist. Gonna delete OTCHealthSolutions.

On an iPhone you must type your email and 10 character password each time you use OTCHealthSolutions . Why can’t they make iPhone store this info in passwords like everyone else? Also the in store barcode should that identifies you for purchases should be allowed to store in wallet. OTCHealthSolutions is cumbersome.

The apps does not have an option to use face recognition to log in.

If you select change password and decided to cancel it, the apps doesn’t give you an option to return to the home menu. You basically have to close the apps and then log back in.

Credentials don’t get stored in iPhone passwords. Have to log in twice every single time. Once I do, Display Activity is broken, shows nothing. The barcode it gives for the store to scan returns an error message on their cash register - they have to type my info in every time. Possibly recode OTCHealthSolutions for the 2020s.

It is the worst app I have ever used it won’t let you login to your account it says wrong email and I have my email for years I hope you read your reviews and fix the problems

I put in my email address it says I have an account, I put in my password and it just comes back and asked for login again. Why does OTCHealthSolutions not remember my email address ? Why does OTCHealthSolutions not present me with the correct keyboard so that I can easily put in the email address?Not a very well-designed app. I called the Support line and there’s no support there.

OTCHealthSolutions is for younger fast people. It has a timeout and if you don’t hit continue fast enough it blocks you if when you get your order complete and go to check out, he gives you an error code and you cannot check out.

OTCHealthSolutions does not allow for user name and password storage in the iPhone keychain. Face ID and Touch ID are not available and the bar code for In store purchase cannot be placed in the wallet function. This may seem like laziness, but why have these functions if you can’t use them?

Can’t edit your phone, email,address,etc on your profile

Scan function states “Coming Soon” and it is already Jan 32, 2023. When will it be available?

First, I tap feedback tab on right side and a continually spinning circle occurs so I have to swipe out of OTCHealthSolutions . Second, I have to login each time I use it. Why can’t Face ID be applied? Third, it seems a little unwieldy for CVS personnel to use at the checkout counter, but I usually am able to complete the transaction after a few minutes. My OTC benefit is with Aetna and, as others have commented, mainly CVS products are covered not brand names. However, I have been able to get a brand-name recently. CVS’ OTC website leaves much to be desired, but this review is about OTCHealthSolutions .

Setting up account, the keyboard stays in alpha for numeric fields. Scanning product bar codes is not implemented.

When will OTCHealthSolutions be upgraded to use FaceID provided by my iPhone to log in? Having to enter my email address and password every time I start OTCHealthSolutions is very inconvenient...

I completely agree with the review written by TelzyA, but want to add that there’s also no way to log out. I shop for both myself and my husband and I needed to log out of my account to log into his and I couldn’t. I had to close OTCHealthSolutions , wait an hour or more until it finally timed out on its own, and then I could log in into the other account. And that’s not even addressing the fact that the only items this wonderful “benefit“ is good on are CVS brand! And items change monthly so it’s impossible trying to keep up.

You should be able to use face recognition to get into OTCHealthSolutions. This takes to long to sign in no app should be that inconvenient to use unless that’s the purpose.

OTCHealthSolutions does not expand to fit an iPad. Worthless on iPad.

I like being able to show the barcode to the pharmacy cashier when I make in-store purchases, and check whether an item is eligible for ORC benefits. But it’s extremely inconvenient that OTCHealthSolutions isn’t coded so iPhone stores my login and password. Passwords these days aren’t easy to remember or type. OTCHealthSolutions needs to stay logged in longer when I have the lock screen on, so I don’t have to walk around the store with OTCHealthSolutions constantly displayed just so I don’t get logged out.

OTCHealthSolutions doesn’t always accept my login credentials even though I very carefully check that I’ve typed them correctly. (I do appreciate that I can at least “show password”, since I have the type it multiple times.)

Fix the login user-unfriendliness and I’ll gladly upgrade my rating for OTCHealthSolutions.

It would be nice to have fingerprint or Face ID sign in like most other apps

We are supposed to get a reload every month ! Yesterday was the 1st and every time I log in nothing shows up after that!

I do like OTCHealthSolutions it does help a lot but I wish they would finish the coding for the scanner to check item on the list

The interface needs some work, and they need an iPad app. But it works.

OTCHealthSolutions was great and really simplified my understanding my OTC benefits and helped me find eligible stores and products so i did not waste time! I love it! It's a must for all Medicare members.
