It will initially connect and show you your image but then it wants you to pay $30. No thanks - used to be free and how do I know it’s even going to work when I pay for it. Bogus app.

i downloaded this and i saw that even after the upload from my camera to my phone I COULD NOT DO ANYTHING WITH THE PICTURES this is outdated and un-usable. the photos do not show up in your gallery.

This is not the real Sony app. Released by some random corporation from China. Your old camera might tell you to use this app Mobile, but Sony renamed it “Imaging Edge” a long time ago. That’s the right one. Check if PlayMemories is released by Sony before downloading. I wouldn’t trust PlayMemories with my personal pictures at all, although I heard it works.
