I hate this appp. It replaced CapCut?!(!?! All it does is add this app. Can't do anything else!!!!!! Doesn't even work for video with music. Worst replacement ever
Captions was great for about a week. The transcriptions were accurate, the timings were on, and the spelling was perfect.
The only issue I experienced was that in every 60 second video, there was at least one frame where the exported video this app did not match the this app in QuikCap. Therefore, there must be some problem when encoding the video during export.
The reason for the low star rating is that they say Captions is free with the option to purchase a subscription. You can use Captions for free as long as you only have two projects saved within Captions . This was fine because I can simply delete the projects.
However, on the latest update, they do not allow you to delete your project. Anytime you try to delete it it prompts you to purchase a subscription plan.
Basically, Captions no longer allows a free version. You can test it out with two projects, then you have to pay.
When I started using this my social media grew, I definitely recommend it!
Captions is very smooth and offers a ton of customization. It had made video editing super easy for me!
