Keepy - Artwork Schoolwork Reviews

I’m so glad I found this app for several reasons:
-I can take a pic & store my children’s artwork, school awards, tests they scored 100’s on, etc. all right in Keepy and categorized neatly by specific child and date.
-Storing this stuff on Keepy means less “clutter” at home and a more organized life.
-this app allows you to share your children’s stuff with other family & friends without showing the ENTIRE world. Keeping it private to only those you want to share with.
-this app can take the Art you upload and create awesome keepsakes to give to family & friends to cherish for years to come. I took my son’s yearbook ad when he graduated from elementary school and enlarged it, then framed it as a gift to him so he could remember all the hard work he put in.

Update: I've just changed to rate Keepy higher because of how responsive they are when there are technical issues and questions. I switched to an earlier iOS software and have far less tech issues now. They resolve issues surprisingly fast and send personal notes to help and update on solution. (I was told an app update submitted to Apple resolved issues with more recent iOS version; however, I have tried.) I'm now recommending this ap to other families.

I thought this was what I was looking for, but the features are very limiting if you are starting with piles of art that have accumulated. You can only upload 5 images at a time... even with paid subscription. I’d deal with that annoyance but Keepy needs work- I’ve wasted HOURS with lots of issues with uploading. App freezes at the last step of upload. Also, app stopped letting me edit photos.i hope they fix Keepy because it has potential. Not sure I can deal with it much longer after a very frustrating day trying to make it work. I checked internet speed and it is fast ~ upload and download. Issues are with Keepy .

I’ve been using the free this app app for years. Just recently I decided I needed to upgrade to the subscriber service (because they limit you to 8 uploads a month, which, for multiple kids, is pretty difficult to limit it to). I was given a free 7 day trial but 3 days in, the server said it was busy and wouldn’t let me upload for two days. Then, when I could finally upload, it pushed me back to the free service and said I had to buy the subscriber service to upload more (it hadn’t even been 7 days of the free trial!). I have emailed them twice about it and both times haven’t heard anything back (the first email to them was 5 days ago). I have enjoyed their app but I’m so disappointed in their customer service. I’m sad that I’m kind of stuck with them at this stage because I have so many pictures saved to their site. But if I had known I couldn’t get in touch with them when I had issues, I would have looked for another art keeping site.

I wrote a critical review a few weeks ago when I discovered that cropping no longer worked properly. After the most recent update, cropping is functioning as it was. I am happy because I was coming back to check and would be discontinuing my subscription. I have enjoyed using Keepy and appreciate that the devs are always fixing bugs - I just didn’t appreciate it when an update actually broke something functional (and integral) to my usage of Keepy . NEVER get rid of the skew crop- it is the best thing about Keepy. Now you’ll have to excuse me while I catch up on weeks of artwork uploads...

Amazing. Memories are the most important thing for me, but aside from being a hoarder it’s impossible to keep everything together. Especially with all the kids art and school projects. Pictures are huge for me too. I used to just upload everything to Facebook but it downgraded the quality so printing the pictures from it ruins them. Also, it didn’t allow for much privacy. Now, I can keep the family in the loop with the most updated stuff of the best quality, and I never have to wonder where a pic is or if there’s a way to retrieve videos. This is the best app I’ve ever invested in.

Love Keepy. Customer service is exceptional. Helps me keep mommy gilt at bay for not physically saving every single art work my children make. I save it all here!!!! 😍
I would love to see a function where I can save sequence work (a small handmade book with few pages) instead of each page being saved independently. Also those pieces of work that are double sided would be nice to have a better way to save them.

App seems ok. UI isn’t top notch. Just started and already had problems connecting Facebook. So I created an account w my email address, and it took a while (on Verizon LTE, and even tried using Verizon Fios WiFi). Finally got it and I added my sons pic etc, and it took a while to save. The button “save” didn’t seem to work. Kept pressing it and nothing happened. So I pressed cancel. Keepy closed (on an iPhone X, 256gig, latest software), and when I reopened it, my sons image and name had finally registered. Because of all the little delays, didn’t really get to look around all of Keepy . Considering keeping it, but I’m gonna go check out Artkive first.

This is a fantastic way to display the proud moments amongst family. It’s like Instagram for grandparents. 😁 But lately every time I post beyond 15 posts a month, it tells me I am out of free posts. Problem is, I have a paid subscription and should be able to post unlimited pics, etc. For a while I was able to “restore purchases” in my account before each additional post, but now it is saying “nothing to restore” and I am unable to post a thing! This isn’t right, especially since I am a paying customer.

Furious with this company. It used to sync my uploads to Dropbox with no problem. It stopped syncing in August 2017. Nothing I created in Keepy in 2018 backed up. I have disconnected and reconnected my (paid) Dropbox account half a dozen times. Nothing works. I have contacted the company five times and each time they say they will look into it and get back to me in a day. They have never gotten back to me and the Dropbox sync has not been fixed. Buyer beware: if you use Keepy and expect it to be backing up your precious files to Dropbox, check that it’s working! As far as I can tell, these files are only on this app. Hope this company never goes under or my memories are gone.

I love Keepy for keeping track of day-to-day activities that aren’t necessarily Facebook-worthy. I stay home with my kids, so I love that my husband can go look at what we’re up to while he’s not here, and grandparents can keep up with the kids as well. The format is easy to use and I love that I’ll always be able to look back on how we spent our days!

I had a question the day I signed up and the founder reached out to me and was so helpful and went above and beyond to reply to my email promptly and help clear up the questions I had. I’ve just started using Keepy and I find it to be a great solution for easy & organized uploads of my child’s projects and artwork! I am so happy I gave it a try!

I loved Keepy from the very first time I used it and that was like maybe 8 or more years ago. I have 13 grand babies and I can save each ones art work, report cards, pics just anything they do like baseball, basketball, soccer games to their own individual folder. I have 1000’s Of pics of them all. I love it. I can’t say enough about it. Sally

Love using my phone to quickly take a photo and then upload the art as soon as it comes home. Allows me to document the progress and fun without accumulating tons of papers waiting for me to have time to upload or send away to be put in.

I’ve tried so many methods of record keeping/journals scrapbooking etc to keep memories for my kiddos. Keepy has been the most user friendly for me personally. It’s pretty easy to upload photos and label them. I do notice sometime my movies don’t end up uploading though. For busy moms and dads that need a great way to keep memories I do recommend Keepy.

I’m a long time user and have collected tons of memories with Keepy. I really appreciate how Keepy separates it by child, age, etc The layout is easy and I like that you can share with fans. Unfortunately since last year I noticed my videos and photos are all mixed and jumbled up and it shows one preview and when you play it, it’s a completely different entry. I contacted customer service and never heard back. I’m not sure I will continue with Keepy since it’s not working properly anymore 😢

this app is great! We use it to share school activities, Projects, achievements and routines with family near and far. It's been a lot of fun for my kids to read and hear comments/praises from loved ones. Keepy is great. I recommend paying the fee and sharing.

Been using Keepy for a few years now with all my kids.
Before Keepy I used to save all the “art” the kids made, couldn't bring myself to throw away.
Now I will have it forever where ever I go. Such a functional and great idea of an app!

Wow what a great option! I get to save all my kids schoolwork, artwork and pics without all the paper! I love that I can look back all their work and see how they grown! I recommend!

While Keepy seems to be working seamlessly at the moment, the whole reason I purchased it and paid for an annual subscription was so that I could easily print photobook; however, when I go to online store they do not have a photobook option. Highly disappointed as photobooks are specifically listed on their marketing :(

Please provide auto-sync options with Google Drive and allow users to add items via the web! Doing it on my phone is so tedious now that I got the premium subscription and am adding more items at a time. Thanks!
