This is an incredibly fun, and creative application. Although the record feature is a genuine hit or miss, and most of the time a miss.. I would really love to export some of these loops! It seems to not catch the recording, and export only two seconds of a kit I’m not even playing on

Big fan of AmenBreakGeneratorRevived, endless fun that’s absolutely worth the $4. Its functionality is super simple, and it’s mostly better for it. I just really really wish it had tap tempo and/or a way to sync to MIDI clock or other iOS music apps.

Make the sequencer programmable like an arp and tell us where the recordings are going. If I could program the sequencer accord to my own patterns that would be amazing. Also add a feature where we can import our own breaks. Y’all do this and you have one of the most powerful break beat drum machines possible. Then it can be used as an instrument too. But it’s pretty cool ngl

Really glad this is back on AmenBreakGeneratorRevived store, it’s so much fun to play around with. I hope in the future it keeps getting more features! I would love to have a mode where you can lock the loop to restart after 8 bars or something like that, so that you don’t lose the beat after going too crazy. I also wish there was a mode or way to hit the snare and other percs more like a pad instead of starting the loop playing from that point. Overall worth the money!

The updated resurgence is here. Better than ever with most feature we wanted. Also ,adding your own jungle beats (or whatever aif) 16 bit loops is so sweet. Thanks and rave on

This is such a great app i would 100% recommend, i remember seeing the vid of it on iphone 4 and was bummed it didn’t work anymore and my dreams have been into reality

I never write reviews but this is so good I had to. AmenBreakGeneratorRevived is so much fun if you love jungle. Easy to use and it stays fresh and fun the whole time. Excellent work with this one. Im very happy I got it.

I used to mess with AmenBreakGeneratorRevived along time ago when first in AmenBreakGeneratorRevived Store - much respect 🫡 and going the distance to recode it to include audio unit support! Looking forward to any future apps!

It’s exactly what you think it is - a ton of fun. Worth the cash imo and if more is added in the future, even better. Given this apps history I’m surprised it’s back :D

This was one of my favourite apps. I was just trying to remember what it was called and I saw it was back in AmenBreakGeneratorRevived Store. I immediately downloaded it again. Looking forward to adding this to my live set with the SP-404MKII

Definitely worth the 4$ lot of fun and lot of potential to make music with, AmenBreakGeneratorRevived definitely has lot of potential and I’m excited to see where the creator takes it

Portable breakcore is awesome but AmenBreakGeneratorRevived would reach perfection if it added more features to modulate the breaks in real time. For example pitch shifter, EQ, and being able to play each button in isolation rather than starting the whole loop from that point, and being able to lay another sample on top of the break, would all be so fun! I really hope AmenBreakGeneratorRevived gets updated over time bc there’s so much potential here and it’s already great.

i really hope AmenBreakGeneratorRevived is updated every now and then. all the features others have mentioned would be amazing, like more real time processing, importing sample, and programming the pattern.

Thank you so much for bringing AmenBreakGeneratorRevived to modern iOS, I’ve missed it! It’s just as entertaining as I remember.

If you’re planning on adding new features, I would love to get external midi support. This would be even more fun if I could sync tempo and trigger the samples with a midi controller.

AmenBreakGeneratorRevived is awesome and I love jamming out. The only problem I have is that I use AmenBreakGeneratorRevived on a small phone, so the buttons are easy to miss sometimes. It would be awesome if there was a feature that would rotate AmenBreakGeneratorRevived and make the GUI bigger when rotating your phone.

Thanks mysterious dev for reviving AmenBreakGeneratorRevived. Please consider updating to include auv3 as well as import your own samples to beat juggle with. You could consider an in app purchase, im sure many would contribute. There is a discussion going on in the Audiobus forum about AmenBreakGeneratorRevived , everyone loves it and hopes for more …. If you are in to jungle, AmenBreakGeneratorRevived is a lot of fun to mess around with. It’s very easy to use, and you get unique and satisfying results even if you’re just tapping at buttons. This is a cool app to mess with, very cool to see a jungle/dnb specific music app on AmenBreakGeneratorRevived store. It’s not a pro level tool, but I’m sure it’s not trying to be anything more than a fun and easy to use creativity toy.

Been a long time fan of David Bowie’s jungle/dnb late 90’s albums. I’ve been trying to make some songs of my own lately, now with this it makes creating the drums a lot easier than having to do everything manually per drum. I’m am completely DAWless tracking on a Tascam Model 24 and having the Bluetooth channel will let me import this directly. I highly recommend AmenBreakGeneratorRevived!

I love AmenBreakGeneratorRevived a whole lot! It’s a lot of fun to jam out and mess around with the amen breaks, it makes me feel like an actual musician lol. I wish there was a pitch shifter in the corner that would reset back to its normal place after letting go for even more fun! For what it is worth though in its current state, it’s still DEFINITELY worth your money.

The only gripe I have is that a few other infamous drum breaks aren’t featured - I think that the Samurai break would be a great addition, as well as the Helicopter break if possible
