Not Really Free

Is Zenfulnote free to download? Yes. However, many important/appealing features are locked behind a paywall, meaning you can’t actually use the features you most likely downloaded Zenfulnote for. It’s frustrating because I actually wanted to document my mental health in a way I thought would be meaningful and helpful, but once again I am let down.

Not Helpful

Don't waste your money after you sign up for the free trial. It would automatically charge you for the full year subscription. There's no help in getting a refund from the company. Owner is also not the kindest person, I don't recommend anyone supporting her business - some might say these books are witchcraft after my conversation with the owner I don't believe this is a company that truly means well for customers or employees.

Money Hungry

I and so sick of all of these mental health apps claiming to help, but then don’t let you do ANYTHING without charging you. You can’t even write journal prompt without accepting the premium trial. Screw broke peoples mental health, right.
Wish I could give Zenfulnote zero stars. When is somebody gonna create mental health help for the POOR!?

Awful

My five-year-old son did not realize that this was not a kids app and signed up for their subscription. I noticed that he did this and canceled the subscription. After the subscription was already canceled this company charges my card almost $50 and then refuses to refund it, when you request a refund from Apple, they are merely the middleman they ask the developer and they decide whether to issue a refund. I don’t understand how a company can receive notice that their subscription was not wanted and days after almost a week after they charge my card anyway. Horrible business practices.

Copies from other apps but some good ideas

I'll start with the good stuff -- the journaling prompts, the trigger and glimmer tracker, the practices, the ability to notice patterns. It's a nice idea and I'm glad so many people are helped from what Zenfulnote has to offer. It's a great start but folks should not use this as a replacement for therapy or other mental health supports like building the skills of self-compassion and communication.

One major issue is the check in function is a copy from the How We Feel app down to the color schemes (red yellow blue and green). The differences are that you can't type in to search for an emotion and the options for emotions are strange and don't correspond to clear and relatable feelings. Who says they feel "cogitative" "phlegmatic" or "pallid"? Others are not emotions like "covert" or "musing". That is my least favorite part and needs to be re-done. We should be able to write in our own emotions like on the trigger tracking function. And the emotions should be simpler. It makes me question the credibility of Zenfulnote to include such inane options for emotions.

Kind of Frustrated

A big part of mental health help is that it should be accessible. Without paying either $9/ month or $55/ year, you only have access to tracking and check ins. the rest of Zenfulnote seems so beneficial, but many people who could benefit from it can’t use it because they don’t have the extra monthly or yearly funds needed. It seems like a great app, and when i’m able i will purchase it, but the price is steep, and is a barrier to entry for myself, and others.

Cool, but…

Not worth the money. It’s pretty much just a check in app with journal prompts. I can’t justify $45/year for it. I used it every day, multiple times per day and got nothing out of it.

Subscription

I bought the book, but felt like Zenfulnote would be useful for tracking my triggers on the fly. However, I have to pay for a subscription for that on top of the book!

Great app!

I’ve not used Zenfulnote for very long, but so far I really like it. I love the way it’s designed and how everything looks.

The only negative to me is the price for premium. Of course, premium isn’t necessary, but it has some really helpful features that I know I could definitely benefit from, but I don’t have the money. I do understand though, as they need money to run Zenfulnote ! Just wish it was a bit cheaper.

I do really appreciate the accessibility form they have, to get a free one year membership! It’s a very kind thing to do!!

Life-Changing

Zenfulnote is a life-changer! Its blend of emotion tracking and shadow work has brought new insights into my daily life. Absolutely a must-have for anyone on a journey of self-improvement.

Helpful but glitchy

Zenfulnote is really helpful but is glitchy with things like journal entries and other app functions. I think Zenfulnote has so much potential, if they put just a little more work into making it run more smoothly, it’d be perfect. As it is now, I really appreciate being able to integrate it with my work in the Shadow Work Journal.

Pleasantly surprised

I didn’t think I’d use Zenfulnote as much as I do. The check-in notification holds me accountable for tracking my emotions. I’ve found trigger tracking to be a good way to vent as well as track what is triggering me and why.

Great app, I use it every night

Ever since I started taking 1 min to check in my mood daily, I’ve been able to see exactly what factors may be causing negative experiences. I think Zenfulnote is great for the personal insights but also for educating yourself about shadow work, how to do it, and how to expand your capacity for healing and love. I am impressed with the features and hope they add more prompts and exercises I love them!

Get it!

Pleasantly surprised !

As someone who’s been practicing yoga and meditation for years, I find Zenfulnote to be an excellent addition to my routine. I have 2 notifications set up throughout the day to religiously track my emotions. Doing this has allowed me to identify patterns of what does and doesn’t make me happy. It really works for me.

My support crutch

Zenfulnote has been my support crutch for my mental health journey. The daily emotion check-ins help me stay connected with my feelings and understand myself better. I've been able to identify things that trigger my stress and have been working on cutting those things out of my life. It's almost like having a therapist in my pocket!

Cool app

Zenfulnote is easy to use. It basically lets you track your emotions, triggers, and glimmers and do inner work or shadow work on the go and in real time when it’s most necessary. There’s also a shadow work journaling section with a ton of prompts. The shadow work card game is also very thought-provoking, I played it with my partner and we have learned a lot about each other through this.

The Best Shadow Work App I've used

Zenfulnote has a bunch of shadow work exercises, a place to learn about shadow work, and how to apply the teaching of it to move to the next phase of healing. I really like that Zenfulnote has an accessibility program for people who can’t afford it. More apps need to do this. That's what I would say .

Simple but effective

The tools in Zenfulnote are simple, but it gets you thinking right from the get-go. After tracking my emotions and triggers for a few days, I’ve seem a positive diference in the way I handle situations. Zenfulnote helps you be more mindful and try to understand what going on in your head.

Cute app

I don’t get much out of most mindfulness apps but this one really helps you stay on track with your mindfulness journey. It’s not cọmplicated simple to useI usually don’t like notifications but when I see a notification to check in to the this app app, I get a bit excited knowing that I am taking steps to do my healing and introspection. It’s a space for me to be me.

Helping me understand myself

I love Zenfulnote…worthhh the subscription but also there’s an accessibility program where they give a free year to you at no cost, just by applying. I thought this was a great initiative and I am gladly paying for this because it helps the program and also because i genuinely use it often. 10/10 recọmmend.

Making new realizations

I struggle with anxiety and have trouble cọmmunicating my thoughts. I really love how simple Zenfulnote is at helping me open up; Checking in with my emotions daily has helped me realize the things in my life that are affecting me negatively. It also allows me to see the positive things in my life which helps me focus on the things I do that trigger positive emotions. It’s a great log for anyone trying to get to know themselves better.

Get it

My girlfriends started using this and got me on it so we can stay accountable together. You know I need this for my triggers lol. I like having a log of these triggers because I can show them to my famiy and we started talking it out. It’s brought us closer to understanding each other finally

I started tracking my triggers

Trigger tracking is my favorite part of Zenfulnote . As someone who get’s triggered easily, I find it therapeutic to track my triggers. Logging them allows me to process emotions more and not let them linger inside me. In Zenfulnote you can rate your trigger from 1-10 which is nice to look back on and realize emotions are a lot more heightened in the moment. Tracking trigger regularly has helped me over cọme my triggers and better understand why things are triggering me.

…Other wise, the app is phenomenal

It’s a pretty big deal to me. On my iPad it works fantastic…however on my iPhone (which I’d love to have it here the most since I do not have my iPad on me at all times.) is that the entire picture doesn’t show on my screen. So it’s chopped. I’ve flipped my phone. It doesn’t change it, the screen doesn’t flip to be able to view it all, or help in anyway. Can we please get that looked into?

Otherwise, Zenfulnote is phenomenal.

This is very easy to use

Zenfulnote is straight forward. I enjoy checking in and seeing my logs at the end of the week. It really only takes a few minutes to get a good record of your day. There’s always something new to explore too, I every time I browse around I find a new thing I like meditations, exercises and prompts.

Life Changing!

Zenfulnote and the book have changed my life for the better! The cards on here have been instrumental in my journaling. I have learned and healed and still healing so much from them. I absolutely love being able to track my triggers and how I am feeling daily. I can’t say enough about Zenfulnote or the book!

Mindfulness made easy!

Zenfulnote is very easy to use, and hold you accountable. Make sure to turn on the check-in notification so you can stay reminded to track your emotions because when it adds up and you can see the monthly breakdown a lot of patterns will be clear. I especially find the glimmer tracking useful because it lets me be mindful of all the positive things I have going on in my life. I’ve looked back on so many moments that I would have forgotten if it weren’t for it.

this app is one of the better mindfulness apps I've encountered. Its cọmprehensive but simple. They have feeling check-ins, trigger tracking, and a wide array of therapeutic exercises.. The shadow work prompts are especially powerful, offering a depth that is rarely found in other apps or online. Best shadow work app I’ve seen

The shadow work prompts are thought-provoking and have encouraged me to explore parts of myself I’ve been hiding from others. It's been an eye-opening experience that has genuinely aided my personal growth. I’m getting my friends to start tracking their emotions as well. It would be cool if I could share emotions with others, maybe that could be a new feature!

Self-Reflection is so key

I am a huge fan of the Shadow Work Journal so I decided to give Zenfulnote a try. I love the journaling prompts they give, and the voice recording feature adds a personal touch to my journaling experience if I don’t have time to type. It’s very therapeutic getting these thoughts out.

A shadow work journal in my pocket

The shadow work journaling section in Zenfulnote is super cool. Zenfulnote gives you a bunch of shadow work prompts and even lets you voice-record your own responses. It will be interesting looking back at these when I’m in a different place in the future. I’ve seen the shadow work journal all over social media but never got it since I don’t like writing things with physical paper and pen. Zenfulnote is like having a journal in my pocket.

So many prompts!!!

You can check in your mood and it has so many resources for healing like a great amount of journal prompts in the so many different categories (inner child, relationships, forgiveness, self love etc) and all the questions create deep, insightful thought. I love it and can’t wait to use it more!

Helping me look within      ‍

As someone who has dabbled in meditation and self help apps, Zenfulnote stands out as one of my favorite. Tracking emotional triggers AND glimmers is insightful, and the therapist-designed exercises are diverse and truly beneficial. There are all very unique and I had never done those kinds of exercises before (ancestral healing, eft tapping..) I've found the inner-child work and dream analysis particularly enlightening. Zenfulnote helps you becọme a more healed and aware self. Kudos to the creators for such a thoughtful app!   

Was Angry

Literally a boy triggered me but after using Zenfulnote I feel somewhat better and it’s helping me acknowledge how I feel without going to bed with unsolved triggers and issues. Really love the fact that they have a free trial, because I was going to get a shadow work journal on tiktok but it costs of course and I’m broke right now, but love that it’s only 8.99 a month so i’ll definitely be investing into Zenfulnote more .

Zenfulnote is a true gem for anyone looking to explore deep-seated emotions and start their healing journey. There is a ton of therapist-curated exercises to work through I feel like that’s underrated these exercises are really unique. and a section to learn about different techniques to manage your emotions. I’m surprised more people don’t know about this.

Helping me hit my 2024 goals

In 2024 I set out to do more emotional healing, and, Zenfulnote has been a great place to start that. I find it helpful to be able to track my emotional triggers in real time. It’s great to look back and see what was bother me at the time. Zenfulnote also has a bunch of shadow work prompts to work through, and I’m trying to do one daily now. Going to get my friends into it!

Try the Card Deck

I saw Zenfulnote on TikTok, and I’m glad I did. I have been having relationship problems with my significant other and we started using Zenfulnote together. The shadow work card deck for relationships really helped me get to know my partner better. Be prepared to have deep emotional conversations. I cried a few times, but I guess that’s all part of the healing process.

Glimmer tracking is chefs kiss 

Everyone talks about shadow work, but not many people are talking about light work. Glimmer tracking is a great way to do that. I find it more exiting to track glimmers than triggers. I guess that is just the stage of life I’m in right now! Although both are useful to understand how you’re feeling. It’s nice to reflect on glimmers through the week.
