For example when search ficus, you have ficus retusa, but not microcarpa.
Suggestion: it would be really cool if you could link BonsaiCareApp with tree forums. Sharing pics, problems, progress, and advice.

BonsaiCareApp looks to well done. They’ve thought of everything that I would want for in an app that is supposed to help keep track on f fertilizing and repotting events. However, if you have more than 5 trees you’ll need to step up to the pro version. The free version only allows 5.

Great app, I like it a lot. Would give 5 stars but there doesn’t appear to be a way to sort, order or group the trees (alphabetically or by multiples of the same species together) in the Tree collection nor the Pots and collectables. Scrolling to find a specific tree or item is tedious and frustrating.

I just bought a year subscription but yesterday I need to use it in a place without any internet connection and it doesn’t work.

Cool app so far. There are minor things I forget so its nice to have an app to keep track for you

I really love BonsaiCareApp a whole lot! There are a few ideas I’d recommend.
1st being able to search your trees so you don’t have to scroll to find them.
2nd being able to put trees into the indoor/outdoor category during specific times of the year.
3rd setting your own personal reminders other than just the water,fertilize, pests, etc.
4th minor bug fixes when every time you click on a reminder check mark it resets the screen and resets you at the top instead of being able to click multiples of them before it resets you at the top.
5th you guys are doing a great job! You made a bonsai app that is super available and affordable for the masses. I recommend BonsaiCareApp to everyone who practices bonsai! I look forward to seeing BonsaiCareApp grow!

I have been exploring Bonsai for the last few years and found BonsaiCareApp to help me keep track of my trees. I love it. Simple to use. Customer Service is excellent. Yesterday (Sunday) I was logged out and was not getting the code sent to my email. I sent an email and it was responded ti with in a few hours. We figured out the code was going to my junk mail, so I added to my contacts, problem solved.

If you have a few trees, or a lot of trees, you need BonsaiCareApp. It also has great info about the trees. All in one app.

Just buy it, you will not regret it.

Finally, a simple and useful bonsai app to keep track of my trees. Love the UX, simple and minimalistic.

Great app! how do I delete trees I made a tree out of curiosity and now I can’t delete it.

Great for storing photos and setting reminders about repotting, fertilizing, etc. The social sharing just started and it’s great!

I just started using BonsaiCareApp and I believe it’ll be very helpful to organize my information over the years. I can’t wait to see the upgrades in 2024.

I’m using BonsaiCareApp to help me remember when to fertilize, prune and wire. It’s also a great place to store photos of the development of the tree.

Worth the money. Just the kind of thing I’ve been looking for.

Requests:

1 it would be great if trees could be in multiple collections and /or we could add searchable tags. I would love to have the same tree in my Native Californian collection and my main collection, or if I could search by native, or by stage of development.

I tried entering the info into various Tree Info fields but only the name and species and custom species seem to be included in the search.

2. A field for a link to more info would be great, esp for species that are not already in the catalog, so I could link over to the site I used for info. If I put it in the Notes field it is visible on the tree info page which is great, but not clickable or even copiable.

Photos are a top priority in my record keeping. It would be nice if BonsaiCareApp didn’t automatically crop them to a square. If that changes, I’d be more likely to use BonsaiCareApp on a yearly subscription.

I absolutely love BonsaiCareApp. I planned to create a spreadsheet to keep track of my growing collection of bonsai trees, but BonsaiCareApp does a far better job and it includes photo progressions. Highly recommend!

This is a an awesome app. Finally one place to look up info and keep track of trees.
I have a suggestion for BonsaiCareApp . It would be neat to be able to merge the account for the learning platform and BonsaiCareApp .

Great app! Just what i have been waiting for, was hesitant at first thinking it will be another clunky app and laborious to use. But after watching Bjorn’s review in youtube I got hooked and after trying it found super easy to use. Looking forward to new improvements and updates.
