I was pleasantly surprised at how well M1 works. The AI’s voice sounds very natural, and when i tested it with a multitude of questions it did great at providing general information to “the customer” even though I hadn’t trained it with that information. I also love that calls are recorded so you can listen to the whole thing later.
For me though, and I think any real business use case, it’s missing two major features. 1. Business Hours. We all hate getting calls outside of our normal hours, and it should allow you to set hours in which it would go straight to the AI and even use a different greeting during those hours. 2. Auto attendant. There should be an option, whether it be a separate system or just part of letting the AI answer and screen the calls, but then forward them to you. This is the feature my current system has that cuts out almost all spam calls, because auto-dialers can’t get past a “press # for customer service”. Having callers dial through to you right away and THEN go to the AI is not gonna work for me since my number is public and I get so many spam calls.
If they add those two features, I’ll definitely return and even be willing to pay more for it. I already pay more for a system that has those features but not AI.
