I’ve had membership for about 4 years and 2 years ago added my wife’s vehicle to my account. At the first of the year my bank account was compromised and had to close my debit card. I finally got things straightened out and Zips was immediately updated with information. We traded my wife’s 2004 Jeep to a 2019 Jeep at the 1st of February, and was able to get a new RFID card sticker about 4-6 weeks ago.
Shortly afterwards, began having trouble having my ID sticker scanned on both vehicles to get a car wash. Attendant at local wash on numerous occasions took down my information to try and update, but was told I had to reapply for a new membership for each vehicle individually. I asked to have the memberships linked on one account, but was told to contact customer service, which I did. I was told that I had to get a Zips app on my phone to “migrate” the 2 accounts into a single one. I got ZIPSCarWash , put in my information and was given message that no account was found for either vehicle. Sent email to customer service for help, but no response to date.
I like the Zips facilities, but I’ve grown tired of how the business is running and inept people I have been in contact with…..

The workers at this car wash praise and talk about get ZIPSCarWash like it's the best thing since slice bread and when you buy a membership you can't and Zips IT department can't migrate your membership to your app. Even though you pay monthly you earn no rewards, your membership is not recognized even though you you plug in all the correct information about your vehicle and personal info. ZIPSCarWash is not designed for members only people who just want to pre-pay for a car wash. That lets me know how under valued they consider their members.

This company is ridiculous when it comes to customer service. They will take your money and leave you for dead. I have paid for a membership only to repeatedly get denied a car wash after driving to the nearest location. It just says “ERROR” and then your sitting there in line looking stupid bcuz you can’t get a wash that you have already paid for. It’s pathetic and I will never make the same mistake again with a Zips membership! SCAM!! SCAM!! SCAM!!

This company has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. 3 months ago I sold a vehicle and called to remove it from the plan, after spending hours on the phone, each time being reassured it’s resolved, I keep being charged for 3 vehicles instead of 2. I’m canceling service after being a customer since this company was called wikiwiki 10 years ago. Shame on you for treating customers with no care!

It seems they have multiple “systems” and ZIPSCarWash “account” is not the same as what you see if you log in online. Nor is it the same as the RFID tag account. I tried adding my RFID account and it hung part way through, I exited and now there seems to be no way to attach an account to my existing vehicle without first deleting the vehicle and starting over. Poor app design, poor overall system design, terrible user experience

I always get a “no win” it should be removed as an option. I was charged twice for my membership last month just because I wanted to attach my account to ZIPSCarWash and it detected it as a new membership. I’ve been coming to this location before I could even drive and it is disappointing how it went from BOOMERANG to ZIPS just so Zips owners can mess it up. You call and no one ever answers. It says they are open from8:30 to 5 but does not specify Monday- Friday or all week. Y’all really need better service!

Absolutely ridiculous! I’ve been trying for 15 days to set up an account. Moved to TX and tried to add 4 vehicles and pay annually. Downloaded app and added cars. Wouldn’t accept my payment. Went to location they couldn’t help me didn’t know how. Told me to call home office. Gave me ma customer service number. I called couldn’t help me told me since it was app related had to email, absolutely no other option! Emailed three times and all response are giving me the run around (it’s my card, it’s not it’s got a ridiculous credit limit) blah blah. I even added another card just in case for some bizarre reason it didn’t like my card, yep still doesn’t work. It’s an error on their side but nobody will fix it and they won’t let me speak to a human so I’m giving up after 15 days and finding a competitor who actually wants my business and money. DO NOT RECOMMEND! Highly disappointed, discouraged and disgusted!

I have and pay for 3 vehicles, it’s a 3 month 50% off plan , for two weeks I haven’t taken my vehicles because app said I did not have membership. After calling the main number , they said I did have a membership. I wasted two weeks because of ZIPSCarWash saying I did not have a membership. After speaking with a rep , they said ZIPSCarWash was going through some transactions but didn’t put that on ZIPSCarWash as a notification. Please update app so customers will know .

barcode would not scan at the kiosk. Of course there was no human available to help. Due to cars behind me I went ahead and swiped My credit card and paid $18 for a car wash, signed up for the basic unlimited on ZIPSCarWash . Pulled around went inside the building to find two teenagers, eating cheeseburgers, unable to help and said yeah ZIPSCarWash just complicates things not sure how to help you. Then found out ZIPSCarWash recorded my daily wash on my monthly program and the $18 wash I just paid for real time….. no customer service to dispute.

Before the stupid RFID (which my location is not equip with) you used to be able to scan the barcode if the License plate reader wasn’t working. Now ZIPSCarWash no longer shows a barcode if you want a wash but gives a dumb message of “use the RFID or LP for your wash” the barcode would’ve been helpful just now when I needed a wash. I pay monthly and yet everytime I go up there…it’s not working. Tonight I tried to call attendant over, lady stared at me 4 times and never can’t over. I was forced to back out as I was not going to pay for a wash since I’m a member. App is a waste.

They make it so difficult to cancel things you have to have four different phone numbers three different apps just to cancel your service.
What happened to the gold all days where you can just go into the store and say I’d like to cancel my account and then you were able to do that this is absolutely absurd that they took that away from the people in the store made it inconvenient for everybody now we have to download another that probably steals data or shares data with the company or God knows who else. And if that fails like ZIPSCarWash does where you can’t link your account you can’t change your account now you have to call customer service and they guilt trip you into trying to keep your service even though all you wanna do is cancel it, three days later, I’m trying to cancel my service!

Told to close my account on line. I was at the place I signed up. On line they want me to open ZIPSCarWash to to merge my account. ZIPSCarWash that I will never use after I close my account. I will have to create an account but won’t let me merge my account because I got a special rate. I’ll drive back to the Zips in Joplin an see if they will close it there. Right now I am not a happy camper. I’m hoping this will be resolved. BA in Joplin

Accessing my Zips account has never been easy online. Initially ZIPSCarWash seemed to be an upgrade. But recently when I upgraded my membership I was charged at the new, more expensive level, I have not been receiving the upgraded wash job. So I am charged for more than I get. Today ZIPSCarWash will not even open. It just spins & shows a little car driving by a Zips car wash. I’m thinking that maybe that’s the best course of action for me too; just end my membership & drive on by to go to another car wash. It’s not like this is the first time Zips has failed. Their billing practices are very suspect.

I don’t see where having ZIPSCarWash is giving me any special privileges. I am a monthly wash member, so I’m getting practically unlimited washes now with no way to take advantage of any perks offered in ZIPSCarWash . When I try migrating my account into ZIPSCarWash it does find me but doesn’t recognize my license plate (which is already registered in ZIPSCarWash ) during migration. ZIPSCarWash just keeps going round in circles.

ZIPSCarWash is not syncing with the computer system at my favorite car was location. I’ve tried 3 times so far to get the tag to work automatically but have to get a person each time.

Had problems with ZIPSCarWash as soon as I signed up. And the was isn’t great either. I got a premier wash and all the lights for the services given didn’t light up so I know I didn’t get everything!!! I have a white car and it’s black all on the front from dirt still there! Not happy so far. Customer service is the only thing good about this

The attendant John was great. He was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. The prices have went up quite a bit since last year and the vacuums are extremely weak. The rate increase certainly isn’t justified. There are too several competitors that offer better vacuums for the same prices or lower. John kicked this review up to a 4.

What a great addition to my monthly subscription…I earn money every month just by paying my bill. Also, winning credits to pay my bill with the spin and win game everyday (not winning everyday, but I spin it everyday).
Glad to be able to bundle my cars again and get a multi-car discount.

I recently moved to the Charlotte area and needed to find a new car wash membership. Drove 12 hours, been here for over 2 weeks, and my car is desperately in need of it (I used to get my car washed back home almost every day). Found Zips close to me and wow ZIPSCarWash has so many features that I enjoyed! Not only is it aesthetically appealing, but sweepstakes and tracking like no other!

The Kingston Pike Zip Car Wash in Bearden is so much improved since Michael arrived. The employees are friendly & ready to help the customers. The car wash is wonderful. The vacuums are powerful & clean the interior of my car completely. No crumb escapes!!
