So I just got a Apple Watch SE 2nd gen and trying to get messenger on my watch and every time I try to log in it just says logging in but doesn’t log in or it says browser not supported. I tried to email twice but didn’t get a response back.

After looking around, I’ve seen that a lot of people with iOS 18 or above have not been able to get this to work. It should be removed if it is nonfunctional. From what I have seen, the Developer has not even replied to people that have emailed them so this is a useless app and should be removed from WatchMessage Store

Two reasons:

1: Does not work unless connected to phone which really defeats the purpose of WatchMessage.

2: Alert from FB that you have logged in from Hong Kong. Even when you’re not in Honk Kong. Which I am not. So who knows how your data is being used….

Tried to get my watch to sync with WatchMessage on my phone but it never would. Kept saying I was logged in on my phone and not in the watch. Tried everything and nothing is working. So upset I can’t use FB messenger messages on my watch.

Do not buy waste of money it will not connect no matter what you do. It’s not gonna connect unless they fix it. I’ve tried sending four emails got no response. It will not sync between the phone and the watch no matter what you do.!

Update Feb 2025: No reply from developer. Seems developer has jumped ship and abandoned WatchMessage .

Update Oct 2024: STILL NO CELLULAR. I feel developer has given up. No updates in over 8 months.

Everything is great about it, however it needs to work independently on the Apple Watch through cellular. THEN, it will be flawless. I’m willing to pay for that.

I have purchased WatchMessage twice now trying to get it to work. The first time WatchMessage seemed to work for a day. I forgot about it and receive messages from fb on my phone so I didn’t mind. I purchased WatchMessage again because it said I didn’t have a subscription. Fine. I tried to log in to WatchMessage several times. It logs in but my watch says that it’s not connected. I have emailed several times and received no replies. I am very very unsatisfied.

I can read messages from my watch but without notification of new messages. WatchMessage does not display any notification for messenger calls. I am canceling my trial.

Part of the reason for having messenger on your watch is so you don’t always have to have your phone. If WatchMessage would work independently I will continue my subscription but if not I will have to cancel.

Won’t connect to my watch at all, no matter how many times I log into my Facebook

WatchMessage can't run independently of my phone on my cellular watch, which is the main reason I was interested in the first place.

Couldn't login until I updated my phone to latest version. Doesn't bode well for reliability, but we'll see.

I downloaded WatchMessage yesterday and I thought everything was well and good. I gave it three stars because it did work at first but then today I was going to use Facebook on my phone and I had been logged and locked out of my account due to suspicious activity for logging into WatchMessage. Luckily, I was able to get back into it, but other people may not be so lucky so that is definitely something you want to watch out for.

Love WatchMessage so far I’ve had it for a few days now and everything seems ok just an issue with some names not show up but other then that it’s a great app

My watch wasn’t letting me reply to messages I emailed the email provided got an immediate response helping me with the issue at hand and very friendly customer service

I like WatchMessage , I use it pretty much daily. I had one hiccup after I sprang for the pro version, and emailed the developer, had it fixed in literally one change in the settings. Pretty cool since facebook is cheap and wont make one.

Absolutely wonderful app. Had a problem and it was resolved within a matter of minutes. Extremely quickly response time. Highly recommend WatchMessage

It works well. So happy I found something to work with fb messenger
And can’t beat the price for a YEAR!

I use WatchMessage to contact my daughter who does not have a phone number to text through. Works great on my watch, and tech support was great at fixing when an iPhone update stopped it from working. (Or user error! 😆)
