I never write reviews, but I had to for this

When I first started playing I wasn’t too sure what to think of it, but man did it grow on me fast. It’s absolutely addicting trying to figure out the best strategy at each track and trying to outplay your opponent. I wish you were rewarded more coins for winning races because it makes it very hard to earn enough coins to enter big tournaments like this past Arizona one.

Decent Game but has its issues

I have been asking for a this app Manager game for a while, and I do think this is a good mobile option. The overall racing and management product is well done. As someone who has spent a lot of time on the developers other title F1 Manager, there’s enough that’s different between the two that makes them unique.
However, I cannot give the game higher than 3 stars currently as it isn’t actually a this app game. The only thing this game has is the same tracks that this app races on. It has 0 drivers, 0 teams, no crew chiefs or spotters, the car models are a generic stock car. Essentially there is nothing this app about this game. The only thing that’s this app in the game is the title “this app Manager”.
IF the game can actually get the licensing rights to the drivers and teams like F1 Manager does, this game could easily get 5 stars. Until then, it’s just a normal sim racing manager

Great display that’s all tho

The game looks good gives a good representation on how to play the game but it doesn’t matter how well u play bc the other dueler is always going to outscore u bc they do everything perfectly 10/10 u can have one racer above both of their racers but if that happens ur other racer tanks the race and u lose u can pop boosters like a junkie but it’s still gonna happen u r set up to lose relentless games so that way u r tempted to spend real money to get good this is literally just like f1 hysterically bad if I wanted to play a racing management game that relies on lucky pit stops and against bots that rnt real players that r clearly way better than u bc if u placed someone up against another person races wouldn’t be so difficult to win but since u have no player base u fill it with unfair scripts that absolutely tank a player’s progress forcing them to spend money I won’t do that that’s a waste of hard earned money to be thrown into a pitfall of a game

Briefly fun then annoying

Fun game at first but only really being able to do duels against others gets old. Especially after you play the game a bit and it seems you’re always matched up with opponents slightly better then you. The fact there’s no lag and no one drops out makes me think I’m not even actually racing other people and I’m set up to lose most races. So you lose money on the duels and are forced to spending real money or watching ads, which means this is less a game and more a money trap, aka why I deleted NASCAR after ~1week. Add a career/season mode against competitive/beatable computer opponents and you might get me to download the game back.

Changing to 4stars. Could be more fun.

Update: I have grounded at this for a few hours. Im still on the first two tracks, my drivers are stupid and don’t pass even though I set them to aggressive they just follow the car in front of them when they could go high or low to pass. Im struggling to win head to heads because of these dumb drivers.

I’ve only played this for 30 minutes or so. The one thing I see so far is they could make the cars pit inside the box. Currently my cars pit on the line between the boxes.

Great game!

Really great game, I’ve been waiting for a game like this, the only thing i cant do is exit out of something i clicked on like when i click on a crate for example, i press the x button and its not removing the thing i pressed on so its just a small easy bug to fix i think but overall really great game 5 Stars Already!

Disappointed 😔

I’m a 7 year this app fan who lives in Texas, I’ve been a this app fan pretty much half my life. I’ve been wanting a solid this app manager style game for a year or two now, so when I saw that the game was released I downloaded it immediately. When I first started I noticed the game has NO REAL DRIVERS, NO REAL TEAMS, and THE ONLY REAL CAR MODEL IS CHEVY. I could deal with this, but what settled the fate of this game for me was that YOU CANT DO A RACE LONGER THAN 6 LAPS AT ANY TRACK and THE ONLY MODE IS A DUEL MODE aka who is lucky with pit stops simulator. If you are looking for a Motorsport manager game I recommend playing a different one like F1, which hurts to say as a this app fan but if your looking for stock car simulator good luck. Very disappointed

It’s alright

I know this is a new game in all but you should have settings for graphics and the gas and tires wear too fast. Also not a huge fan of micro transactions or pay to win games. I’m not saying it bad. I’m saying I like the same type of formula that survivaliO has that gives you some pretty good perks to keep playing. I might have this on my phone for like a day. Check out survival io formula I know it’s a different game but check out how much they give you with rewards and upgrades and free coin and “diamonds”

Love it

It’s a great game and it reminds me of F1 Clash (it’s been a while since I’ve played it but I’m pretty sure that’s the name), it has great competition and it involves lots of strategy. My only complaint is the amount you have to pit for fuel, I would understand having to pit often for tires but even then I shouldn’t have to stop every other lap for both. If the races were longer and you had less stops then it would make it 100% better

Great manager for nascar we have waited for!

So couple things with this being so new and already being this good I’m excited for the future, couple things though, 1 the cars merge into eatchother 2 the ai doesn’t really go anywhere expecally in an open space. One thing I hope to see is the drivers make mistakes and mess up and have cautions and both teams have to pay for the mistakes but I love this game there is so much potential!

Not Accessible, But They Probably Don’t Care

I’ve been a this app fan for years, and yet again, they make a game that does not consider whatsoever the fact that the visually impaired or blind community might actually be interested in the sport and playing games. All you Gotta do is make the thing work with voiceover at least on an iPhone, but we can’t even ever do that. I feel failed yet again, because everybody forgets about that side, they just don’t care. Just make it work with voiceover please I actually wanted to play this I guess dumb of me for being excited because I thought I might be able to.

Good game could use upgrade

I like this game but you can’t move the car. I would also love to be able to do paint jobs and different setups for different tracks and cars.i also don’t like how many times you have to pit in one race and I would love to be able to change the name of the driver. But I do love the graphics and how similar the tracks are to actual this app tracks.

By

Solid

A lot of the gameplay is the same as F1 manager same company makes it. Would of been 5 star but main complaint is none of the teams/ drivers are apart the game it’s strictly all generated drivers and card which is disappointing. I expected micro transactions to be apart of it so I’m not surprised. Would of been 5 star but no licensed cars/ drivers is a little bit of a turn off

I enjoy the F1 Clash just as much as I enjoy this!

I can’t wait for the customization option. At this time it says “coming soon” . I hope Hutch is able to add more customization to both this and F1 Clash I’d like to turn my F1 car and this app into my own design, with my own numbers, custom decals, and sponsors, etc. Thanks for the great games!

My thoughts:

Game has potential to be fun but the racing logic needs to improve. I know the drivers you start off with have low ratings but going to tracks such as Daytona and California (at the time of this review it’s still the 2 mile layout) and seeing them lose a lot of time because they were “blocked” by other cars (even by their teammates) despite having more than enough space to overtake looks very ridiculous.

By

Fun

The game is pretty fun for the most of it. We’re not really something I play all the time I say give it a chance try it don’t like it delete it try a new game I’m just doing this review so I can get me some free coins and try to build up a car, but honestly it’s not one of my favorite games

By

Good

So far it’s good. A few things tho. One is that you constantly have to stop for fuel almost every lap and a half. Fuel should last a little longer. You no more get a good position only to lose it to constantly needing fuel. Second the tires do not move while going slower. The car just looks like it’s skating in the road. Other than that, very fun. Thanks!

I LOVE IT!

If you’re just looking to pass the time it’s awesome, lunch break at work, chilling on my console game in between matches. This game is a blast and it’s the a simple near real experience for the least amount of stress and least amount of all the extra stuff such as, tuning, psi, differential, etc… it’s great!!!

By

You can definitely tell it’s new

It’s a fun game so far. The potential for it is for sure there just based off of what F1 Clash is (these same guys who made that game, made this). It definitely needs to have the real drivers from the Cup Series in the game, and maybe a few more tracks (Watkins Glen and Bristol 🙏). It’s definitely nice to see Fontana live on, even if in a phone game. It’s also needs a loootttttt more Dale, Jimmie, and The King in there

Amazing

The racing is just like the formula manager game the graphics are amazing I got to say being a fan of their games this is probably one of the better ones with more experience than the others offered so 10/10 amazing job!

Ruined the game with new update

The update that hit today ruins the game. The game is slow and clunky now. My drivers are so slow now, I put in guys with good qualifying, and they couldn’t pass but they also qualified last, so what was the point. I also played a guy with 60 more team score and he had over 7,700 flags called it’sover in my tournament and my guys rolled around in last or barely higher. My finishing position can no longer be earned by using skillful tactics, and now I don’t even know what is wrong with the game, but it for real has screwed me out of the tournament because of this. Also now at Richmond the drivers basically stop in the corner instead of actually rolling them, so how can you pass you can’t your guy runs into the back bumper over and over then gets a breakdown and then bang hits the wall twice in the turns dead on comes down hits other cars and there is no caution. I was playing this game basically right of start and there were cautions and they actually had use and were great, but where did they go I haven’t seen that in a month I feel. I really loved this game too so this is a bummer and if it stays like this I’m done playing.

What happened

Not sure what you guys did with this last update but the game is not fun anymore. Before the update the racing was great, now not so much. Can’t tell the difference between running hard or normal. Boost seem to be obsolete when you use them. The new road courses was an awesome addition. But the racing itself just isn’t what it was before the update. And what happened to the yellow flags? Have those been removed from the game?

Pay to Win

This game is 100% a scam. I played the recent event and after placing 5th overall out of 100 people, I got a crate with ten packs of zero coins. The update made it far worse too. Upgrades don’t matter, you constantly get passed by slower cars while you’re boosting and they are not. All the crates you get give you stuff that won’t help at all unless you spend real money. The matchmaking is crazy. You get matched with people that have thousands more team score and collected flags. It is an obvious pay to win and they rub it in your face constantly.

Good Game

For anyone struggling to win, find a new strategy. In my opinion it is easy to win races if played correctly. The game overall is very fun and addictive at first. I enjoy the management style and the the graphics a pretty good. It does get repetitive fast. Constantly dropping into matches doing the same thing over and over again. I personally would love to see an option for larger wagers and longer races. Example: I much rather play 5 games of 100 laps instead of 50 games of 10 laps. Could even potentially work in a system for more players this way. Overall headed in the right direction but needs some fine tuning.

Started out great

Starting out it seems to be a great game. That is until you realize the boosters are worthless. Don’t waste your time or money. NPC cars will group up then block you from passing. You go from first to last and they will never let you by. Lead lap? Blocked. Lapped traffic? Blocked. NPC blocking will cost you the race. Driver scores? Just as useless as the boosters. You’ll get 1000s of useless parts and drivers so prepare to sit in the mid to upper 500 range. I’ve attempted to use the blocking boosters and yet my drivers never seem to block. It’s and “alright” game. But until they address the above issues, my playing time will be super limited and I won’t drop another $ into it.

Great Game BUT..

I was qualifying for an event race (which is simulated) when I received an urgent text I had to respond to, i quickly opened the conversation and responded and was back in the game, RACE FORFEITURE! Are you kidding me?! So now that I have a 3 score in that race whats the point of playing out the remaining races? There is no point. Something the dev team has to work on is that when my car is in Drive Hard mode, people behind me that aren’t in that mode shouldn’t be passing me, (this is with fresh tires), just so that I can pass them back and then put 4 secs in between them. This can screw up an entire race if the computer controlled racer is a defender and my racer has poor overtaking. Drafting should be considered in the game, it seems to be completely ignored. The race forfeiting I experienced has persuaded me this game is no longer for me, and I will be deleting the game, hopefully others don’t experience the same frustration.

Fun but not enough

The game has good bones but you can tell that the devs put more time and energy into the F1 Manger game. There are barely any tracks (no Bristol, charlotte, etc.) and there aren’t any real drivers or teams. The customization features for your avatar and car are also turned off which feels like a simple thing to turn on. Also the balancing for npc blocking is crazy. Sometimes I’ll be able to pass 10 cars at once and other times I can’t pass for the whole race. It doesn’t seem like clicking the “go faster” button really does anything to help passing either.

Overall I like playing it but if it was to the level of the F1 version it would make it much more enjoyable.

This game is great! But there are 2 things that I would to be added.

I love playing this game and I like how you added Hendrick Motorsports drivers and paint schemes to the game. But in the future I would like to see more teams added. And one last thing I want to see is a custom paint booth. Because most of the time, when I play people, they have an almost identical paint scheme as me. I would love a paint booth so people can have their own unique paint schemes. Other than that, I really like playing this game. Thank you for taking the time to read this review.

AI Defending is broken

I’m not sure what recent updates you made to the defending but it’s not done yet. It might be worse. As it stands, I routinely watch my level six driver get stuck behind cars in 13th, 15th, 19th, sometimes second to last place, and we’ll just ride there behind their little defense symbol for multiple laps, sometimes that car, which is nowhere near on the pace will weave back-and-forth to keep me behind it, while I’m losing half a lap or more to the rest of field. It especially happens in the last three laps of the race. My car will literally just ride there making no moves, no sign of urgency, and it doesn’t matter if I have fresh tires or no tires, using turbo or not. It’s endlessly frustrating. no real driver whatever do such a thing. And turbo seems to be completely ineffective. As I can also ride on that for a full lap next to a car who’s not using it and never gain a single position, and sometimes even lose them!!!
Unacceptable! please fix this!
