Huge knockoff of maplestory very obviously, but still a fun game to play… if there werent so many bugs. Was this even beta tested? MapleHeroes keeps closing when i try to do certain things and sometimes it takes forever for screens to load after pressing a button and theres just way too many bugs its obvious this game was prematurely released. Ill be happy to change my rating once these issues are resolved but the UX is so horrendous. The game literally closed out on me 5 times already and after the first 30 minutes of gameplay it gets exceptionally hard to level up unless you pay for items.

As long as the bugs are patched, the game in itself is not too terrible and kind of fun if you like reminiscing on old maplestory characters. I will say though, this game is a little heavy on pay-to-win.

Fix these issues and then ill happily reevaluate. Im giving it some leeway since it only just released today so its a 2-star as opposed to a 1-star.

I wanted to like this game I really did. I grew up with the OG Maple story and played it for over 10 years. Sadly, this game does not hit the mark there’s no 60 FPS option this game is too fast paced to not have a 60 FPS option there is way too many micro transactions. It’s so overwhelming takes you over 45 minutes just to click through everything to make sure you aren’t missing something from some kind of daily task. or made sure you had to open everything so you weren’t missing something navigating through all your bags, inventory storage, etc. should all be placed in one menu not scattered randomly throughout the UI, making it really frustrating

Minor problems but not bad. First problem is that the background music is louder than the narration in the beginning. Second problem is the text when choosing what type of character you want to be is small and hard to read. Gameplay seems smooth past that. Though I do admit to getting bored with it quickly. Also, and this is just a pet peeve, it’s really annoying how the arrow is always tapping on the challenge button. I mean, yeah, I know I need to tap that to fight but let me explore.

It was fun to play. Pretty engaging but continues to keep crashing. Itll say combat data exception and takes all my loot disappears and still uses the limited move. Like for the mythical monster. I’ve earned a whole bunch of items to hatch but after the error I’ve used one of the chances to fight but I’ve received no loot. I keep trying to find the report button on MapleHeroes to report the problem but it continues to crash. It’s been happening since last night. I’m loosing interest quickly.

I started playing this game a couple days ago and I love this game it is so fun I can create my character and I’m a knight because I am a close range fighter and I’ve really enjoyed playing it and I think the pets are really cool for people who haven’t played I do recommend playing!!!!

This is unquestionably one of the most gratifying idle games I've ever experienced. What's more, in the rare event that you encounter a bug, reporting it results in a prompt resolution, typically within the next day. I wholeheartedly give it a 10/10 and plan to continue playing.

Since it's my first day of playing it it possible if you can update it more so if some of the stuff was free I will not be saying this right now

This game is so laggy and unresponsive. I was also promised a Maplestory idle game but it’s not made by Nexon. The artwork is not the like Maplestory at all which was disappointing. It’s a ripoff of Ulala adventure which is not only has cuter artwork but is more stable. Definitely not “idle” either unless you pay for auto-battle passes every month. And the ranger class uses assassin weapons? If you’re going for “Maplestory” at least have the 5 original classes. Only pro is that it is more lightweight than Ulala.

The game launched today and its been really fun so far. Bugs are being fixed extremely fast and you can tell how much work was put into the game by devs. Would recommend.

I use to play maple story with my husband, so it’s nice to have a mobile game. There are so many things to do, but to also have the option to just let it play out. I love it!

Haven’t made it too far but the game seems pretty simple and fun. In the beginning the dialogue wasn’t matched up with the words at a certain point and the volume they talked at was regular and then it would go into a whisper

Best game I ever play so far for maplestory. Im working a lot so this game actually give me some spare time to play while im working. Enjoying the game every single minutes!

Being into the actual game in the past I thought a mobile spinoff would be fun. Definitely a cash grab with limited staff support and very unrefined. Multiple support tickets and their statement about gameplay is they’ll fix it later or it is what it is. Definitely a waste if cash on any of the purchases and very low players per server.

Just started trying to figure out how everything works, game has potential

I pre-downloaded this game hoping it would be a game similar to MapleStory but instead it’s the exact same game as Ulala: Idle Adventure (just look it up if you haven’t played it before). I uninstalled the first day I downloaded it. What was the point in even making this game if it’s just Ulala with different graphics? Disappointing.

Would love to able to make moves during combat instead of just watching it do it on its own. And the automation in the background of the team going up the ground and levels would be so much better as a side game we could play!!!!

This game definitely copied lots of resources from Maple Story including advertisement in SNS, not to mention that almost half of scenes in ad are even not be found in-game screen. They just pretend this game is associated with Nexon’s Maple but actually it isn’t. That’s why tons of people don’t agree with the independent of Hongkong. Hongkong is not a country and it belongs to China.

its really fun if you play the game for 1 hour and making clans or teams so your team will strive

It’s an amazing with many things but why did I rate it a 4 star and not 5 because it has many things that can make p2w or simply just stupid.

Don’t waste your time on this game, it’s not related to MapleStory. It’s a straight pay to win game, you’ll notice along the way you won’t get first in any tournament cause everyone’s paying for stuff. Don’t waste your money or time on this waste of a game. Super upset how y’all advertised you were with MapleStory. It’s even in your name.

The pets are cool, there’s A LOT to do. Like an hour worth of dailys and then you can come back throughout the day. HOWEVER, every event wants you to spend 100s of dollars. And there’s always multiple events. For example there’s the wish altar event going on, if you grind hard you can get a decent amount of free wishes and maybe get a good pull. However to complete all the tasks for the event you would have to buy the $50 event package TWENTY times. That’s right $1000 for a 3 day event. Besides that there’s 6 other events that also want you to spend $15-50 each to get the extra rewards. I’ve been playing for a week and I’m at the point where leveling up is hard because if costs so much gold or food or other resource. I’ll play for a little longer but if everything is this expensive I’ll lose interest real quick

I grew up playing MapleStory and while the actual game in my opinion doesn’t translate well to mobile, this game makes up for it. So much stuff to do and while you are doing one thing, you achieve something elsewhere. It keeps giving so you always have something to do.

Like the title says, it’s actually a really good game, lots to do. But unfortunately, very pay to win, like VERY. There’s a good amount of bosses in the game that you will be stuck on for weeks unless you’re willing to spend money. If the developers made this game less P2W, I think it could be a top playing game in MapleHeroes store.

Was an active player until one day the devs decided to delete my account for no reason. Asked support for help in recovery. Took them a week and they still couldnt figure out how to provide my account back. So pray your hours of gameplay aren’t wasted by the devs randomly deleting your account because they are not going to be able to get it back for you.

I will be glad to edit my review once the bugs get patched, but as it stands, it’s very hard to want to play this game due to the fact that it takes pressing the screen like three or four times to make a selection on the buttons in the game. It’s a cute knock-off of MapleStory, but very frustrating to play due to this issue.

Just downloaded the game and already summoned a few SSR Class characters. Looking forward to future gameplay and updates

Stop forcing me to open character window. Stop forcing me to promote character. Stop forcing me to claim rewards. How do I destroy promotion you shoved down my throat? Stop forcing me to go to skill equip window. How do I unequip all the gear you automatically equipped to my character? Stop forcing me to join a team. Stop forcing me to use auto challenge. Don’t lie to me. Game prevents you from doing anything else until we click on what the stupid tutorial wants us to do. That is forcing us to do it.

i lost 4 XL genes i bought with money when accidentally removing a gene from my main pet. this deleted the pet and all the other genes on the pet.
i did get the monsters and materials i used to star up the scarlet queen pet but not the genes.
talking with support to see if there was anything i could do about it they asked me for $50 for a backtrack of the items????
the ui for extracting genes is confusing and its easy to accidentally click on extract which i have done a few times. but another window pops up so its not that big of a problem. i miss-clicked on yes this last time and my heart sank. i didn't even extract a good gene is was the worst gene the pet had 😭.
i just think asking for an additional $50 for 4 XL genes is absurd.

Love this game and the characters, love the maple story feel while still being a phone game.

Dislike that paying means you get to be ahead of everyone else. Would be nice to find a phone game - or any game really - where you don’t have to buy anything and can just put in hard work to get what you want and need. I’ll never be at the top because others have money to buy stuff for the game 🤷🏻‍♀️

Going back and forth with support for weeks now for them to simply give me rewards I earned and they just continue to say “on my side it shows you got it”. Ummm no I never did which is why I wrote you in the first place.

will never spend anything in this game again and I suggest no one else does either.

The games great and love it. But I think you should be able to have multiple pets on same team instead of having two other people on the team so can just a pet team and you.

I had been playing game for a few months and had spent quite a lot of money on it. Logged in this afternoon to my account deleted and I don’t even know where to begin to get it back. I know it’s dumb to be upset over a phone game but i had put a lot of time and money into it.

Dear maple heroes employees, I just want my mythic back I was extracting a gene from a mythic to put in a better one but I didn’t know how it worked so it deleted the whole hero I was devestated I spent over 10,000 mushrooms to get please just give me a mythic egg please 🙏. 😊Thanks 😊
