Firstly, I'd like to say that I'm very happy that Ateez now has a way of communicating with Atiny. My issue is that KQ has completely disregarded International Atiny (a large part of their fanbase) by not adding a translation option for the chat. We pay money to what? See messages in a different language and see the chatroom as well?? It's so stupid. In no way am I expecting them to speak in English, all I want is a google translate button that allows me to understand what they're saying. On top of that, why are lives locked behind a paywall? KQ, are you that desperate for money??? All in all, as an international atiny now I know that KQ does not give a crap about us and is using us as a cash cow. I have uninstalled and deleted TOKTOQ since I can get translations elsewhere. KQ ignoring I-Tiny time and time again is getting on my nerves and I'm considering leaving the fanbase and just listening to the music. This is my last straw with this company.

TOKTOQ is pay for play for a group that needs all the support their international fanbase can give since their native speaking fanbase is nearly non-existent. Yet, you must pay for content that other groups joyfully give freely and if you do pay, you won’t feel a connection to the group since there’s no translation feature. Only a company who’s short sighted, unrealistic and unnecessarily greedy would create a platform that alienates the very lifeblood and revenue stream of its artist. This is one of the most counterproductive platforms I’ve see any company put out and is unimaginably stupid for it concept. You are biting the hand that feeds you KQ, turn back before it’s too late.

-No translations?
-PAY FOR LIVES?? I can understand if maybe for “special lives” but regular lives that people with no money can never see? There’s a disconnect from Ateez and international fans now and it’s not the first time. How are they supposed to become more popular amongst other fans if you just shut everyone out?
-then charging $12 just for people to get more money taken from them? Ur sick KQ..

TOKTOQ is very inaccessible to international fans, and to fans in general. In order to get the most basic of interactions, you have to pay. You have to pay for everything. Lives, chats, pictures, and they don’t have a translation option for anything. The lives also expire, so even if you pay for it, you’ll eventually lose access. TOKTOQ is a money hungry way to bar fans from interacting with their idols unless they pay money every time they turn around. Other companies allow their artists fans to have access to photos and lives for free, but we are not given this privilege on this app. This is a horrible move on the companies part. No new fans will be able to join in and view any content, and even existing fans won’t either. Lives are a big way fans connect with the idols, and TOKTOQ puts a wall between that connection. TOKTOQ is only for Korean fans, and it’s pretty obvious that KQ believes the Korean fanbase is the only one that matters. KQ do better. Your international fanbase is the one keeping that company, and those groups afloat.

It pains me to write this but I hope things can change.
The “Pop” functionality for both artists and fans is painful to use. The chat moves too fast and unlike other artist to fan subscription services, fans cannot message if the artist isn’t online. Also unlike other artist to fan subscription messaging services, there is no rate limit. Meaning trolls are free to spam and flood the chat.
This doesn’t even touch in the lack of translation option which, again, is provided by other subscription messaging apps.
I would be more likely to recommend purchasing a subscription in the future if these fixes were implemented. As it stands, once the free month is up I likely will let my subscription lapse.

I find it so sad that there is a pay wall for people to see their favorite idols live… And the most frustrating thing is the fact that once you go in the live, there are no translation features for text chat. Across TOKTOQ , there are no translation features, but why would you put a pay wall on some thing when people can’t even understand everything knowing that specifically the majority of ATEEZ fans are international.
Also, can we please mention the fact that multiple ATINY got $100-$1000 plus stolen from them when transferring the information? I also noticed that the terms of service on b.stage is the same for this app and I am completely not sure if my data is the same that I shared with b.stage knowing that my account was hacked.
After my friends rent money getting stolen and the fact that I had to replace my card (knowing that I can’t get my medication, pay my bills on time, etc., until I get my new debit card from this data breach), I will never be trusting any Korean company ever again with my information. I don’t like to loop everyone together, but this was way too traumatic.
Also, the fact that there was a little to no transparency from b.stage/this app ABOUT ANY QUESTIONS FANS HAD ABOUT THE DATA TRANSFER, THAT SHOULD SAY EVERYTHING. THEY DIDN’T ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS, AND ONLY KQ ENT MADE A SORRY STATEMENT THAT ADDRESSED ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

I love ateez so much and i was so excited for an app where i could finally have pms but TOKTOQ has been below expectations… firstly there is no translate options and you can’t even copy text to put it into a translator yourself. second a lot of the content is behind a paywall which is not standard to the industry at all. 3rd the pm isn’t even pm more like a live stream chatbox? I really hope they make improvements to TOKTOQ so atinys can have a better experience with ateez!

Look I know this ain’t weverse. But the quality of the live stream is horrible and the streams are deleted without ever uploading subtitles. I’m not Korean but I love watching live in the moment without subtitles, but I like to go back and watch with subtitles so I can go back and match the moments to what was said. I think the most important thing is video quality and subtitles released in a timely matter. I love Ateez so much and I want the best for them but TOKTOQ ain’t it.

I purchased my renewal of ATEEZ ATINY membership and was super excited for the live chat function as it said in the description accessible for members I paid for the membership I would like to use this feature but it’s going to be a monthly subscription change it and make it functioning for everybody who has membership accessibility as it was originally intended
by Kqdobetter
there are no ways to quickly translate messages in TOKTOQ , not even through copy and paste, which severely limits international fans’ ability to comfortably interact with the artists.
livestreams have also become a paid feature, which i don’t believe is a good idea. every other K-POP group has free livestreams. they are a basic tool for interacting with fans and it is not smart to put that behind a paywall.
fans have also stated that they do not enjoy the live chat being visible while the artist is chatting. it is less intimate, and the screen is too large and distracts from what the artist is typing.
please fix this.
by N ♥︎
everything is behind a paywall and while this is normal for private messages having it for livestreams too greatly turned me away from TOKTOQ . there is also no translate feature on TOKTOQ and in private messages this is even worse as you can’t highlight the text for a google translate them either. if these things do not change i will not be renewing my membership or paying for the pop chats as it serves me no purpose to have either as an international fan. i would give this zero stars if i could.
by Adasa1117
It is truly astonishing to me that TOKTOQ makes you pay for every single little thing, including lives? It is genuinely outlandish. On top of all that, there is no translation either and that is also EXTREMELY confusing since there are so many international atiny. This is an exceptionally disappointing app.
by Kimmy Cub
KQent, shame on you for being so greedy and forcing lives, the most basic form of communication an artist can have with fans, be paid content. Having everything be behind a paywall is going to be your company's downfall
by Aavelez89
I get that adding a translation button might take some time, but the fact that we can't even highlight any of the text the members post to copy/paste into a translator on our own is downright absurd.
by SentimentalBunny0
paying for a membership and then paying to see live videos and messages for an additional fee PER MEMBER when TOKTOQ doesn't even send notifs (yes i've checked in-app and in settings to see if notifs are on) so i miss everything that i am literally paying for.
by DisneyCatLady
TOKTOQ itself is decent if you are a member. The notifications are not good. Notifications used to come through and popup on my phone screen like a text would but now they just get sent by email. Email notifications are slower so by the time you get it the love chat or video is over…the push notifications to the phone and Lock Screen need to be brought back.
by Minwhas
it’s exactly like bstage which isn’t bad at all. we still get to message ateez, do live chats with them, see lives of them, buy things from here, and speak to them. although, i really hope things such as translate and free lives will be added. international fans cannot really speak to ateez as much without knowing the context of what they’re talking about! so please add features that will benefit EVERY atiny and not just some!!! 감사합니다!
by Dxtxil
It’s a great app just like B.stage, But the fact that International Atinys cant even get a simple translation button to understand the members is bizarre. Wanting to watch a live stream on this app You Have to have a membership. And if you do have a membership, You can’t record, The chat takes up way too much space, and TOKTOQ sometimes lags. Its unfair to some of us Atinys who can’t pay to even watch live streams on TOKTOQ that’s dedicated to Atinys who want to communicate with ateez to begin with. So please fix this issue, Its very unfair and also unfair to atinys who have payed but cant even get simple translation nor record live streams. Thank you
by HELLO???FRESH??
it’s gotten slightly better since the first time i downloaded it but its very clear the company does not care about making things accessible for fans that aren’t korean. the lack of translations in any language, the fact that lives aren’t saved to watch later if we’ve missed them in real time. it’s obvious that they’re catering to only one part of an ever growing fandom. putting things like lives behind a paywall and making us pay for untranslated content AND we’re paying to miss lives if we don’t live in the same time zone as the boys whenever they are when they’re able to go live… either kp needs to step up their p*ssy UP or make lives free so we aren’t wasting our time and more importantly, our money.
by Aintinifty
I’m glad TOKTOQ exists, but it needs a lot of improvements. The live chat feature gives waaay too much real estate to fan comments when all we want to see is the artist chat. Live comments from fans should either only be visible to the artist, like the old Universe private messaging feature, or should always be collapsible.
The live pop video also does not always work. Sometimes the artist will switch to a live video, but the stream is frozen/silent/etc. The videos also go away after a few days, which honestly makes me really sad. Fans can’t always watch a replay right away, so we’re missing out on content. That’s super disheartening, especially since this is a paid service.
Also, there is no translation, so the live chat is super limited for any fans who do not speak Korean.
by I Loveromwe
Honestly this whole app feels like a scam with a the random payments. I know myself and many other international fans feel quite isolated especially with the lack of any translation features. Kq please do better especially since your groups have a large international fan base 😕
by Ghaya. H
It’s a very nice way to interact with the idols. But unless you have the membership, you can’t participate in live chatting or some of their lives. Even with chatting, there isn’t a translation feature so it’s going to be difficult for International fans.
by Bixings
Its a really great app to connect with ateez but having no translation at all and having to go back and forth through another app to translate what they are saying is annoying. Please add translation in TOKTOQ , this will really make it more enjoyable.
by Hikari Yuu
notifications don’t work for me. b.stage notifications used to work perfectly fine for me & i was notified when the members were online. but now i have no clue when they chat or come by except through the email option which usually only notifies of popchat. which is a bit useless for us non-members. with all these new inclusions of popchat and poplives, for those of us who are non-members, we are getting pretty much nothing. personally i can’t help but feel left out.
by Daniwoojim
TOKTOQ works fine and it is a great way to engage and stay updated with the artists. But for international fans there needs to be improving in the way we can translate the artists comments.
by Chaoskpoppy
TOKTOQ would be so much more improved if we had translations for the pop chat. We can’t even highlight and use translator making it very hard for I-atiny.
by Yoongis Gloss
im of course so happy that there is a app to communicate with my favorite artists but almost everything has to be paid for. I understand paying for just 1 on 1 chats with members but having the live feature also be something that you have to pay for is not beneficial for all the fans that dont have that type of money to pay for it. That should be totally free for all fans to enjoy and watch their favorite artists on live. now also another thing that TOKTOQ lacks is a translation button, obviously the artist speak in korean as they are kpop idols but a big majority of fans can not speak the language and theirs no way for us to quickly translate what they posted and or are saying in chats or on lives. over all there are good things about TOKTOQ but as stated there are a lot of things that need to be fixed and i personally really hope they do get fixed.

improvement options - 1) They need to add an English translate option, preferably from Papago. 2) I noticed the POP! chat can be minimized when there is video playing, but not when it’s just the member typing. so if you can add the ‘collapse chat’ option for the live chat, that would be great. 3) I would like my POP! messages sent to save in the chat after it is over, so I can view what I said. 4) when a member crosses over into another members POP! chat, make their messages above the live chat, so they can see each other. 5) I found that I am able to scroll the live chat but to make it easier, maybe add a double click option to pause the chat before being able to scroll. 6) an option to view and save the profile picture of the members. 7) I understand the POP! live option not being able to save video and having a short time span but please let them be able to send a regular picture / video that we can save to our phones. 8) if a user has missed the POP! live chat, I would like something to let me know which chat that i need to read. you can make a red light on the members’ name so that I know who typed when I was gone.

Most apps like this offer a translation option. Bubble for Stray Kids is easy to do the in app translation. Ateez and Xikers deserve an option for their non-Korean fans to be able to easily translate what they are sharing with their fans. Otherwise, it’s a super easy to use app. Five stars if you add the translation option. Thank you.

the fact that im obligated to have a paid membership to be able to watch ateez livestreams bafflea me and nnot because i think ateez aint worth itb but because i dont think atiny should be charged for the lives
Also the fact tht TOKTOQ makez it so difficult to pay for the membership pisses me off
fix it please i hate that im missing the livez and exclusivemembership content

I’ve been using b.stage and was glad to see that everything moved seamlessly onto this app upon release. The addition of the POP lives and the free 2 week trials are great in theory but in practice it reveals a lot of areas to improve on
1. Translation
This has been an issue since the previous app b.stage where there is no translate button on any member/company posts for ease of use for international fans. And in the context of POP lives, its absence is even more glaring because text cannot be copied out of the chat to be pasted into a translation app. So the only real options are to use a separate device to live translate, or wait for someone else to translate instead
Adding a translate button like that on Twitter would make a massive difference to the international fans and also encourage more people to subscribe once the free trial finishes
2. Collapse/Expand POP Fan Chat
There is already a collapse/expand option for the fan chat during video lives. But during regular POP text chats, not only is this not possible, but the amount of vertical space given to the fan chat is larger than the space given to the members’ chat. This alone makes little sense because fans are here to see what the members have to say, and the fan feed is comparatively less important to us as viewers
3. Scrolling/Report in POP Fan Chat
At this time neither the members nor fans can scroll up in the fan chat. This makes it hard to read what people are saying because it goes by too quickly when there are many people typing. And it contributes to spamming behaviors for people to have a better chance for their message to be read by the idol.
In addition to not being able to scroll, we cannot report users for inappropriate messages in the chat. And because it goes by so quickly, it’s hard to identify who the problematic people are. We need greater moderation capabilities built into TOKTOQ , hopefully as well as a filter for offensive messages if one is not already in place

While I’m glad there’s an app solely for KQ artists now, I hope these issues can be improved for the people who are paying for services to support the artists. Especially for the sake of international fans, who make up a large proportion of the fandoms and would gladly pay for privileges that not only provide them additional content but are also *easy to use*
To KQ and the developers, I hope you can hear our feedback and make appropriate changes. Thank you

I was very excited to see that ATEEZ were getting their own app. It’s nice and I really like the updates I get from the Ateez. The pop feature is fun as well, but it would be nice if the area where you see other people interacting to be minimized somehow since it’s very distracting and I would like to focus more on what the artist is writing. Also I hope that in the future it could have a feature where we can translate the text the artist sends, many international fans use TOKTOQ as well and we understand that the artists main language is Korean and it’s their main target, but by just simply adding a way where international fans can translate the text so they can also understand what’s going on would be very appropriate.
by PinkMoomins
TOKTOQ is better than B-Stage in terms of usage. Yes, they make you pay for content but $12 a year and each month you can renew special subscriptions (which are free atm if you apply it within the few days they give you). This is still way cheaper than when Universe was a thing. It’s not horrible but it’s not accessible for fans who don’t have the money to afford all this.
by Nana Momo
It’s easy to catch up Artists’s latest schedules & updated contents.
If you already have the membership on bstage, you can login with same ID & password so you don’t have to pay membership fee twice.
Also membership includes 1month free pop-talk (PM, voice msg & face cam) experience.
by Lancaeriel
As an international fan there’s sometimes not a lot offered to us. That’s why I love TOKTOQ, I get access to member posts and livestreams and it only cost like $15 for the whole year! More than worth it for me. I have no issues with TOKTOQ , everything works as it should and I always get notifications of when members of my favorite group go live.
