This is the usual formula- they pull you in with some fun looking simple arcade game which they heavily advertise. Once you are in, it is a world builder and pvp. You can have fun building a thing for a bit. Then you hit a wall. You can pass that wall with something like $5, or just play a lot more. At some point, $5 becomes $10, then $20, the $100. If you don’t spend you fall behind. Your games is heavily crippled- you cant build as fast, grow your heroes, but it can still be fun. Then you hit the point where you cant get the heroes or level-ups you want to be competitive without spending more. All the while, engaging graphics and a slow build of your army keeps you in. For a while, you can play as a solo player. But at a certain point, you simply cannot play the game without an alliance. Joining an alliance, of course encourages you to spend more, because everyone else is doing it, and you don’t want yourself or your team to be left behind. What they don’t tell you is that leading the charge are players who will drop $100 to $150 THOUSAND through the course of the game. As a casual player, you will spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars on this game while devoting a significant amount of your time and attention to a game. This whole thing is designed to be an addictive money pit. Save yourself the trouble and dont install.
