Stay away! False Advertising! Gambling! Not for ages under 18-21

Not a math game. It’s not a marching game. It’s an alliance focused base building game. I didn’t get a purchase. Reported it and they issued a refund that locked me out until I paid the refund back. Gambling is rigged, it rewards players who spend less money more, while usurping players who regularly spend more, to get them to spend more. It’s rare that any purchases are straight forward. You only get to play the advertise game when you upgrade your headquarters. Headquarters Max out at level 30 and by the time you get into level 20 and above, you’re very rarely ever playing the game you downloaded this for. The game is intentionally addictive and it has gambling. Furthermore, unless you get into the server when it first starts or spend a lot of money, you’ll never be a top player. So there’s constant bullying and a constant waste of resources and troops. There is constant conflict, it is a war game. Customer service is useless, and rarely apologetic. This game is designed to hook people and build relationships so you don’t leave. Then you and the other players that are hooked are feeding off each other, spending more and more money on their ridiculous little events. Not once have I ever spent money on this game and felt like I got fair values in return. they are making tens of millions of dollars a month. They don’t need any new players, they need to be sued.
Endless Money Pit Cycle that has no direction.

I don't mind spending money on games. But the developers of this game are too greedy. I've played many games very similar to this and this is definitely one of the worst pay to advance games. Also, it's like they have no direction. They keep throwing things in to see what sticks, just to remove it shorty after. The chat and alliance communication is horrible. The events favor Korean time. If you live in the west, you'll be asleep when most events happen. Leveling up your heros, troops, aircraft, and base will be ridiculously expensive.
I truly gave this game a real shot as it's addictive. And poured plenty of cash into it. But even for someone like myself who can afford it. The greed is just too much not to eventually become offended and feel like I'm being taken advantage of.
Glitches galore

How often do you find a game that requires 2 or more updates in a day multiple times a week? You get that with this game. It wouldn’t be nearly as bad if you could just open the game after the update, but no, it starts to open, freezes, pops up a message and then forces you to close the game and reopen it. The chats are prone to not translating or it randomly changes to different languages event though the team all speaks English. I had 5 or 6 different languages in my chat, including one that look like the language used in the Predator movies. The game also lags so bad that you make a comment and then it appears 10 minutes later. Yes, I literally mean 10 minutes later. Tomorrow, they’re send an ‘apology gift’ to make up for the ridiculousness which will amount to 100 rubies and a speed up or two. They are going to find themselves in the same boat as Mobile Strike very soon if they don’t figure out exactly how to properly compensate for their incompetence.
Play at your own risk.
Not anything like the advertisement

This is nothing like the ad!!! To be honest it’s more like a cross from game of war or Mobile Strike with puzzles and survivors. It’s an alliance based game just like the 3 i mentioned. I played all 3 and this will not be a free to play game you are going to have to buy packs to get anywhere in this game. Now with that being said if you like games like that and you have money to blow and by what I mean by money to blow I would say you will have to buy at least a couple $100 dollar packs a week to be able to play and hold your own against others in the game. I mean you can probably play without spending money but it’s going to be slow and the game will more of a social game than anything like you will talk to your alliance peeps and maybe in the world chat if you can get in a decent alliance. Most alliances in my experience won’t a certain amount of power and certain lvl of troops so imo unless you want to drop a few thousand dollars in this game don’t waste your time downloading it
I purchased $50 for the VIP package and Package kit. After making the In-App the purchases, the game didn’t load my add-ons. I then reached out to the customer support team and didn’t get a response back until almost 48 hrs later, asking for my proof of receipts. I sent them and didn’t hear back from anyone since. I then decided to reach out to Apple Support for my refund as I didn’t feel comfortable paying $50 for services I didn’t receive. My refund fortunately got processed but then the game moderators blocked my account from accessing gameplay. Advising me that I now have a credit score that’s in the negative, resulting in me no longer having the ability to play the game until I restore a credit score purchase totaling the amount I requested my refund for. Up until this point I was a fan of this game, now I will proceed to officially delete it and won’t support any games from this developer moving forward. It’s shameful to block/limit my gameplay for a game that has had several gameplay patches due to operational errors on their gaming servers. Even with showing proof, I got penalized for something that was out of my control.
My advice is proceed with caution if you’re brave enough to make any in-app purchases, as you may or may not get the services you’re attempting to access & can ultimately be penalized for requested a refund if the in-app purchases do not validate on your in game account.
False advertising b-s

by BostonWs6
Just like every other game that’s advertised now it’s false advertising it’s not what it shows in the advertisement whatsoever. It’s an absolutely awful base building game where you have to build a base and a team and grind or pay to get stronger while only being able to battle like it shows in the advertisement every so often but not even close to the way it shows in the advertisement because it’s not a never-ending assault there’s only so many zombies that come and you have to kill a certain amount to complete the task and unlock a square to make your base area bigger… other players can attack you and kill your troops and steal your stuff you paid for or suffered to get. It’s basically like a game of thrones type game designed by people born after the year 2000. Everything is cheesy and childish looking especially the zombies. Aside from the female characters that are specifically designed to be sexually provocative towards men to keep them interested which definitely do not belong in a game like this.
Toxic players ruin it

by Rockymountainhigh5
Game starts out simple enough as a zombie attack game similar to the ads, and quickly devolves into a base building, resource gathering, alliance drama game. I stuck around as a mostly free player and got to a base of 22 when I finally got tired of the toxicity that seems to be inherent, at least on my server. Everything came down to VS events which is the same thing week in and week out of completing certain tasks for points which contributes to your alliance score in competition with another alliance. Every day is some new threat from your alliance that if you don’t have enough points, don’t locate your base in the correct formation, don’t donate enough, etc you’ll be kicked out. The game is based in china so most events happen at odd times. The straw that broke my back was the top alliance in my server mandated participation in an event that would occur at 5am my time. Non participation meant your base would be burned to the ground by the top players in that alliance. Just all around dumb and a waste of time and money if you’re the type that will spend to win on this kind of stuff.

The game starts off entertaining but quickly becomes a grind. It’s exactly the same as half the other games out there. Level buildings, do research, improve heros and farm rss. The only thing that’s different is the minigames from the ads which again quickly become boring and repetitive. If you’re looking for the exact same game you’ve already played a dozen times then great, this is for you. If you were hoping for something new and different then move along, there’s nothing to see here.
Edit: I played for about 10 days. As I stated previously I’ve played a number of these games, this one is by FAR the worst unless you’re going to be a heavy spender. I spent a few bucks on heros and an additional building queue, was very competitive in events and generally ahead of the curve due to experience. The first kill event came up and I was hit by t7 troops vs my t5s which if you’ve played these games you know is an insurmountable difference. Bubbles are much less readily available and the overall balance of the game is way off. Unless you’re planning to invest heavily in the game avoid this like the plague.
Yet another pay to play
2024-01-23
by DyreLogan
Don’t waste your time. It gets you hooked for about 10-15 minutes until you cannot do anything anymore because you have to wait or pay real money to keep playing. Also, it’s rather unfair. No matter how far you move your soldiers, you still get a lot of them caught in the traps or danger zone and end up losing half of them. The game is a huge scam, just like all these games. And there is a lot going on which leaves you scratching your head wondering what is what. Upgrade this. Fight that. Recruit this. Destroy that. Build this. Tear down that. I mean, just make a game that’s enjoyable and stop making all this nonsense. The reason these games are so popular is because gullible and naive people download them and pay real money from mommy and daddies bank account. Gaming is supposed be fun. LastWar Store is a chess pool of nothing but pay to play nonsense.
The game is very fun and has a lot of potential, but the cash grab make it nearly unplayable. You cannot progress without paying money. When you do spend money, your purchases are time gated and you are SUPPOSED to claim pieces of the purchase on a daily basis. Once you purchase the item you cannot access what you purchased as there is no button anywhere to claim your purchases. Support is essentially non existent.
The game is constantly filled with ads to spend more money. If you truly want to enjoy the entirety of the game you have to spend hundreds of dollars to access everything. There are multiple different monthly, weekly and daily passes, different monthly and weekly hero passes, VIP passes, additional purchases within the passes after purchasing the pass, etc. I have never seen anything like it. Extremely disappointing.

This game has come up on my social media feed constantly, and the allure of the challenge behind facing waves of enemies and upgrading your squad with random items looked like a fun challenge. Therefore, decided to give the game a go. When you initially play this game, you go through a series of levels in which that is your reality of the game, then that ends, and you’re given a base just like many games before it, in which you have to farm for supplies so that you can strengthen your forces. As you begin to level up, the game changes to an automated state for the most part and the scenario changes to the need to pay to play, or you’re gridlocked. Unfortunately this ruined the experience for me, because I will never cave to paying for a mobile game experience that will literally drain hundreds of dollars on the player just for the game to automatically put my squad into play and you’re at the mercy of the game allowing you to progress, which generally requires coin if you dont want to wait an entire week and have to play consistently to just reap resources. The lack luster is done within a week. I gave it a month, and am not sold.
DO NOT PLAY!

The previews and ads of this game are completely FAKE. The real game is NOTHING like you thought it would be. The game itself is ( ok ) but could be A-LOT better. If you are under the age of 13 the online part of the game is ( NOT FOR YOU! ). In the online part of the game you can attack other people and collect resources by mining and etc… but the reason I say the online part of the game isn't for kids under 13 is because there’s a world wide chat with adults ( Men ) that talk about horrific things like ( Ra*ing Women ) , ( Killing People ) and ( Assaulting Women ). I have also seen people type ( Racial Slurs ). Some people also take the game WAY to serious to the point you’ll get cussed out and attacked 24:7 by that person or the clan/team they are in. Let me say this though, if you have a job or are a busy person in general… do not join a team, it’s for your own good. If the leader of your clan wants to attack another team you must be ready that moment or you’ll be kicked. It also takes a LONG time to upgrade your troops and hero’s so you’ll be fighting low power people and enemies for a long time. Over all, i suggest that no women or kids play this game.

if you don’t play this game consistently, this game is not for you you can be attacked by shields if you’ve been gone away for a day if you are a leader of an alliance and you’re off for a day, they will transfer ownership to somebody else without your consent and all you good is an email saying that they are transferring ownership because it’s been away for too long but it’s only been 24 hours. I had real life work to do was going to go because I set a reminder to go after a landmark. I went in before that to check up on everything maybe 2425 hours past from the last time I opened it and now I lost my allegiance and people were blowing up my stuff
Following a building data error within the game they reset four of my season specific buildings back four levels. These buildings farm resources for the season and therefore are extremely important to the game play. The building data error notice also returned some of the season specific resources needed to build/upgrade these buildings BUT nowhere near enough to return to the level at which I had upgraded before the error. After multiple times reaching out to customer service and waiting multiple days for responses they refused to fix the issue. In total they cheated me out of 4,000,000 season specific resources and set me back 3-4 days of gameplay against my peers within a timed season. Their explanation of striving for fairness within the game is ironic given that their handling of the situation only increased the unfairness of the gameplay. Based on their handling of the situation I would never spend real money within LastWar and wouldn’t recommend LastWar to others. Takes them too long to respond and all they give is cookie cutter responses. One of their responses wasn’t even relevant to the complaint. Probably some Chinese person who doesn’t fully understand English. Another issue is that their AI translator in chat doesn’t exactly catch translations perfectly.
Recharge for packs
2024-07-17
by Itsjurboy
This game is fun. However. I did not want to continue playing due to the fact that you plateau in the building process and will at some point need to buy packs in order to continue building your base. I bought 2 packs last week, realized it would cost more then I wanted to spend, so I deleted the game. Yesterday I was charged again for these packs even without having the game downloaded on my phone. No in app purchase password required. That seems very predatory. How did I purchase something on a game that isn’t even downloaded on my phone?
Edit: I have reached out for a refund with no word from the devs. Apple has already refused a refund which I have appealed. The packs I purchased were one time purchases that did not renew on a subscription basis. However they still charged me again a week after the game was deleted. This is either a scam on the developers side or I was double charged. Either way. I want a refund. This is absurd and unethical business practices.
Don’t download it.

Played the game based off what I saw from “advertisements” from TikTok. I’m only writing the review here cause they turned off comments on the TikTok advertisement.
What you see is definitely not what you get. It’s there somewhat, but it’s like watered down version of what you see on the ad. Played the game and it’s a city builder with wait times and pay to win features. Like anything with phone games anymore, it’s all the same junk with different graphics and “stories”.
This review will probably be removed or hidden in the reviews section by a million bot accounts owned by whoever owns this game. But I figured I’d try at least.

when I upgrade everything to max it’s still not enough to get through the levels I have to get through. What’s the point of upgrade everything to max just to not even get past the level still like I can’t do nothing else This game is not that good in my opinion So whoever made this game, you need to fix a lot of stuff about this game because no one is about to play another pay to play game and on top of that no one is about to play a game also on top of that it’s like you cannot move on unless you pay for something like that’s so stupid
Don’t waste your time

You can slide under the radar for a little while, but then someone who is slightly more powerful than you can attack you relentlessly and destroy everything you’ve built. The only way to get around it is to spend a lot of money. If they wanted the game to be fun to play they could limit the amount of times you could be attacked.
Edit: I was asked to elaborate using in app support, but I have no idea how to access that. The game allows other players to attack you over and over until you have nothing left. The troops who survive take twenty four hours to heal at my current level, and thirteen hours to train a few new ones. That’s an awful long time of not being able to play the game. The only way around it is to spend money for speed ups and shields. If people who are several levels above you can so easily end your game play, then what’s the point of playing? If the damage could be minimized, the attacks limited to two a week, an automatic 24hr shield after a few attacks, recovery time minimized, if shields were much cheaper, or any number of other ways to make the game more fun for beginners, it might be worth it. I have no problem spending a few bucks here and there, but keeping up with the game as it currently exists would be a car payment.
It the beginning the game was enjoyable to play but now it’s not so much. How can we compete with people 10-20 lvls higher than you that’s been in the game longer and keeps attacking you on a daily basis. For the last week we just try to recover to our normal state but would get by the “Whales”
Game is fake and uses AI generated images on the character units.

by Shane Bridgedale
I played the game from the advertisement list from other apps and it was quite bad. The game does not follow much entirely from the advertisement which goes against the game’s images and app icon. It’s a build your fortress kind of game much like a clash of clans clone. Although the levels and minigames tried to follow things from the ads but is it really trying to be serious every game apps now a days are so cheap and plain when it comes to lazy development. But that’s not the worse part. The character icons I notice are AI generated. How to I know this Because almost every character looks almost the same and they all almost have these weird AI lighting surfaces. And for the survivors they couldn’t even create or come up with certain ideas and just made generated images without even trying to be original with these characters. There is also some flaws it has like how the eyes of each character does match with the others. You have to peak a little to see these flaws to catch them.
Everything just seems lazy and bad. Not try to be ambitious for an app. But in reality this is the current state of apps right now.
Fraudulent charges from this game
2024-10-01
by SuperSlider
Beware fraud bogus charges from in-app purchases. 1. I checked no subscriptions. 2. I was sleeping at time of charge. 3. No purchase for over 72 hours (dev site says it’s a delayed receipt) but no way to actually communicate with anyone. 4. Didn’t receive anything in app that I could tell. 5. No alliance reward for purchase matching date and time on receipt 6. If your English and communication skills are so good how come your receipts don’t match the names of the packs that they go with. 7. If it was a delayed receipt that was over 72 hours old then you should have a special receipt that says delayed receipt 72 hours because it looks like fraud to the customer when they didn’t buy anything that day or the day before or the day before. SO THE TIME, DATE AND NAME ON THE RECEIPT IS NOT ABLE TO BE RECONCILED (MATCHED) WITH WHAT IS IN GAME. I would have rather lost all items and continue playing, but the game kicked me out so lose customers and money because of poor communication unclear receipt lazy devs. Make receipts to easy visual match and reconcile with what is shown in-app and bill within 48 hours or it’s free. Give user option to return items if dispute. Not auto lockout and booted account. Thanks for saving me all the money I would’ve wasted by playing. Wow I think even the developer responses to reviews are done by AI.

Or whatever other junk this game is about. I just want to play the game in the ad. I don’t understand it. Game makers know that people want these games, that’s why they use them for the ads, it draws people in. But no one ever makes the games from the ad. Why don’t you just make the game that people actually want to play? It literally makes no sense.

So, they initially had this boring money spending city game, then they realized it's boring and they came up with some fake ads. Then they realized that everyone is complaining about this bait-and-switch thing so they added a couple of starting minigames just as an excuse for the game to look like the ads. 🤦🏼🤦🏼 just please create great games, not this crap.
They can access and collect data from your camera, microphone and saved photos. They can share that with anyone they name as an affiliate (which is numerous companies names companies and others that are not named, any of which could literally sell your data outright). They can also share it with anyone who claims to be a prospective investor, and with any government entity (which is a foreign government for most users). This kind of agreement should not even be permitted in LastWar Store.

Not like ad
2024-06-30
by KDWW
I am ok with fighting zombies and building a base. But I didn’t realize it was a war game to fight other cities/bases and not just zombies. At a certain point (level 7), the game will not let you proceed without building the alliance and then joining one. I did not want a game that required more than killing zombies. The game ad shows how there are choices — red or black — in order to pass each ‘block’. I sign in and someone has attacked me. I never intended to spend a lot of time each day playing this game and certainly did not want to participate in this type of game (which is not advertised appropriately). Just understand that you cannot even kill zombies until you create the alliance building and join an alliance. If you want to kill zombies, this is not the game for you as you will eventually stall and cannot go further in the game until you do what the game requires. Plus you will get attacked, which has nothing to do with zombies. Wish the game was as advertised 🤔.

This game interested me because of the fun looking math based battle pictures, but in reality, they game has almost none of this. As somebody who has a serious gambling addiction, I ended up spending over $6,000 on this game, on the upgrades and chance based chest opening. I got sucked into this game, and I feel like I was mislead. Although it is my fault for spending the money, I do feel like the “gambling” aspect of this game is not well represented in the pictures. I have tried explaining my issues to case to the customer support, and have been callously told there is nothing they can do. I can’t even get partially refunded for the items that are still in my account. My wife considers this gambling, and due to my relapse (without telling her), I am now losing my wife, and have to move out of our house since it is in her name. My life is effectively in ruins due to this game. Wish I had known this was a P2W game, with paid chance based objects before I downloaded it. I am a loser.
Big Issues

I don’t understand how many times people have to report some guy and the team support from the game has not yet blocked him access to LastWar as a whole. From issues from other servers people have dealt with this one person in the game still has yet to be completely banned from the game app. From his malicious speech, vulgar language, as well as the the inappropriate language this player has. This player had been going at it for days with this language that so many people have reported him and the support for some reason cannot find any evidence where this player has malicious speech, vulgar language as well as the inappropriate language. He has violent so many rules that he will not stop and the reports are not getting anywhere. The whole entire server of 390 is completely fed up of him and would like him completely banned off the server or LastWar as a whole. I do have evidence in where this person displays this type of behavior.
There’s no strategy or skill or persistence to this game. If you are willing to spend $1k or more per week, you’ll be in the top 10 players. On your server. Which is one of dozens or hundreds. Korean gamers will outspend you, or at least your alliance. You Korean? Great, when they merge servers (a few weeks in), Koreans more willing to spend will destroy you too. Not looking to spend? If you’re on 24/7 you might hit the top 50 on your server. Honestly, this should be outlawed. It’s bizarre politics (in game politics I mean), taking time and learning strategy only to have someone drop $5 and be ahead of the week you just put in. The ones who spend thousands in the first week are where non spenders might be in 5 years.
Also, the part of the game that’s like the ads is maybe 2% of game play. You can’t replay them, even though they’re maybe the most fun part.
STUPID! No instructions!
2024-05-06
by Kidologist
You go through the first 5 easy levels and then you are at some base with absolutely no explanation. You just keep collecting coins and bread and click on everything and nothing tells you what to do or how to keep playing. Wasted 20 minutes trying to figure out what the heck you’re supposed to do. Completely stupid game.
UPDATE AFTER DEV RESPONSE: Not actually true. I did follow the tutorial. Then at the end was just stuck at the end and there was no explanation, no hints, I literally clicked on every single thing and nothing happened. There was no way I could find to advance. Several people told me the same thing happened to them so like me they deleted it after that initial play. If you have a lot of people that never get past that first section - I’m the one who took the time to tell you. Most people just give up and delete it. Good day.
Paying money is the only skill you’ll need for the game
2024-05-06
by Scskyle
Played for around 60 days. I was tricked by the ads. The game starts off front heavy with those running math problems, but then slowly you’re introduced to what the real game is. It becomes an idle game. I will praise the game for 0 ads. It becomes a series of micro transactions. I played for free, I became strangely addicted and liked the challenge of paying no money. I soon realized I wasn’t playing a game. I was just clicking on buttons with no strategy or skill.
I joined an alliance of about 80 people. You can compete against other alliances every week. For a small example you can complete a task every 4 hours for points towards the competition. Alternatively you can spend 3 bucks here and there to complete tasks more frequently to boost your points in the competition. People are spending thousands of dollars every week to chill at the top of the leaderboards.
I’m usually on the mindset of people can do whatever they want with their money. If you’re that rich that’s awesome, but at the same time there’s seriously more fulfilling things to do with your time and money.
If you came here because of the cool ads, you’ll have more fun playing sodoku. If you like idle games and have a strange spending addiction then this game is up your alley.
Game has way too much going on
2024-05-06
by Cchante
I agree with some of the other reviews. When you first start playing it’s fun. It’s clear the developers are money hungry. To do anything literally you need to buy diamonds, or resources, or protection, or speed ups. You’re actually playing the game and going through levels, then you’re raising resources and money to make your base stronger but in the same breath being attacked by people with higher levels than you who attack over and over again. They don’t even set a limit on how many times someone can attack you. I literally got attacked 30 times in one day which was the day I deleted the game. They clearly want you to be forced to pay $20, $40, $100 for a few days of protection. It’s a very dumb concept. You cant grow your base if you’re constantly getting attacked and losing soldiers and resources. So play the game it’ll be fun for about a week.
Made friends but fun is gone

by Brownley11
Don’t waste your money. This game’s developers allow larger alliances to shut down the progress of smaller alliances by letting one alliance ignore/cancel buff requests of smaller less powerful alliances. They turn away from customer service reports of bullying and community uniting requests. They have not figured out a way to allow server transfers so if you are said alliance that is being bullied, you can’t go to a new server and continue to grow with your friends. I wouldn’t drop a dime on this game especially if you are in server 159 because while we are supposed to be growing stronger to fight against other servers at the end of the season, the top alliance is destroying its own server allies because of ego. The devs don’t care about bullies especially if the bullies are spending thousands of dollars on this game to burn the free to play bases or the players that only spent hundreds. Not to mention that I started playing this game to kill zombies…that doesn’t last very long….then it turns into you’ve spent $20 or $200 and now you can’t unshield bc your base will be burned and your resources will be stolen and all of your troops dead. Do better First Fun devs.
This is the usual formula- they pull you in with some fun looking simple arcade game which they heavily advertise. Once you are in, it is a world builder and pvp. You can have fun building a thing for a bit. Then you hit a wall. You can pass that wall with something like $5, or just play a lot more. At some point, $5 becomes $10, then $20, the $100. If you don’t spend you fall behind. Your games is heavily crippled- you cant build as fast, grow your heroes, but it can still be fun. Then you hit the point where you cant get the heroes or level-ups you want to be competitive without spending more. All the while, engaging graphics and a slow build of your army keeps you in. For a while, you can play as a solo player. But at a certain point, you simply cannot play the game without an alliance. Joining an alliance, of course encourages you to spend more, because everyone else is doing it, and you don’t want yourself or your team to be left behind. What they don’t tell you is that leading the charge are players who will drop $100 to $150 THOUSAND through the course of the game. As a casual player, you will spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars on this game while devoting a significant amount of your time and attention to a game. This whole thing is designed to be an addictive money pit. Save yourself the trouble and dont install.

If I could give this game a negative score I would. You can’t even play this mess. It looked like a fun game. Till you try and play it. And it’s not my internet connection so you can stop with that crap. I will now be deleting this waste of space and time.
Fun game if you spend money, horrible customer service
2024-10-07
by Kfan888
The first week or so is fun to play the mini games and build your base. That’s where it ends, people who spend money develop at a fast pace and end up attacking you relentlessly. You are caught either spending money to keep up or frustrated enough to just quit playing. The people who spend hundreds or thousands end up ruling the server and the little fish die off.
Furthermore, the customer service is HORRIBLE! I spent money and the Apple Store billed me twice. I requested a refund and when it was granted by Apple the developer froze my account saying that a refund was detected and would not unlock my account until the funds were put back. By the time customer service answered it was 24 hours later and I had already been attacked and missed a series of events and rewards. There was no apology, just put the money back or don’t play. Just another case of money grab, the developers don’t care about anyone or anything other than their own wallets!
I would give this game a half a star if I could

The game is a pay to play app and while I can understand most games want a chance to make some profit off their game, it’s a different story when you literally have to pay real money to even continue. On top of that it’s nothing like the advertisements it’s almost like clash of clans and you do whats advertised but it’s again not the same at all and the missions almost seem purposely hard or impossible to get through unless and they’ll tell you “you gotta upgrade your troops” well 1 id have to upgrade my barracks then upgrade my upgrade station and then wait for my upgrade station to create the upgrade while I wait for more materials because of all the upgrading I just did and then wait another 3 hours for the upgrade to finish being created oh but wait the missions are still impossible because I have to upgrade my town hall to gain even better upgrades just to be able to continue because if I don’t then no matter how good my math is or my dodging is I won’t be able to move on until I buy more upgrades and wait hours upon hours for them to be finished and that’s all so you’ll pay for their speed ups and gems in order to keep playing so until they make this an actual game I would recommend staying far away. Shame on you homelander
I really want to ask the developers what they were thinking with the Alliance Duels... Having another server fight your bases isn't fun. I was burned down multiple times in the 24 hour period.
This isn't fun This needs to change. I hope the developmers have the guts to reply...

This game seemed pretty fun when J saw the adds but its nothing like them. The game has you build your base in order to upgrade your characters so that you can take on harder levels. Also you need to do this inorder to play certain levels. This was not addressed in the add at all but I would get past this if there weren't wait times. In order to upgrade you main building you have to wait a certain amount of time. In the beginning it starts off as 10-20 seconds. Then it moves up to a couple minutes. But after a playing for a couple days I have to wait several hours in order to upgrade the main building. But also I have to upgrade smaller buildings in order to upgrade the big building so I end up not being able to play more than 3-5 levels each day. I hate when games make you wait in order to play the game as it ruins the point in downloading the game as you end up spending more time waiting to play the actually playing the game all together.
Not Worth Any Investment of Time

I downloaded the game this past weekend and played for a few days. What you see in the commercials is only a very small part of the game. You need to build a base, construct different buildings, upgrade said buildings, gather resources, go to an open world for quests (they aren’t exciting and you basically don’t need to do anything), join a group/clan, and on and on. The main screen is jammed with so many things I can’t figure out what is going on.
Yesterday I got to a part in the game where I couldn’t continue unless I upgraded several buildings (you can only upgrade one building at a time unless you want to spend money). I come back later in the day and several buildings of my base are on fire and I can’t figure out what is going on. At that point I was just frustrated and done with the game, so I deleted it.
In the end this game, like so many, are all about time and money. You can play the game for free, but you’ll be spending a lot of time waiting for things to get done in order to move forward, OR pay money to speed things along.
You know the myriad of Instagram ads you see about this game and others like it? Yeah it’s nothing like what they show. It’s shows a simple lane based gallery shooter, but it’s a base-oriented command-type game. The game is riddled with obvious AI generated art that clearly wants the women to all look “sexy” while maintaining a cartoonish artstyle for the men. The main game simultaneously gives you a lot to do while also withholding all the fun aspects. It’s a frustrating balance that doesn’t seem to resolve. The mechanics seem to bog itself down. The most interesting part of the game (the portion you see on all the ads, in the fashion it’s advertised) takes up probably less than 5% of the actual game which just feels disingenuous. All I wanted was a mindless game to just play for a few minutes at a time, not worry about base attacks and heroes and a weirdly convoluted world exploration system. If that’s your vibe, go for it. But this just all felt nothing like was advertised

Been playing for 100 days now. I do pay to play but I’m definitely not a whale.
Here is the biggest issue I see.
Devs made it to where you can do absolutely nothing to fend off stronger players.
A good idea is that you can remove your defenses from your base so if someone attacks you essentially no one is home so you shouldn’t lose troops… WRONG. You will automatically have troops killed even if your hospitals aren’t full bc they are in your drill ground. Dumbest thing ever.
2. Let’s say you are gathering a resource tile. If someone attacks that tile and loses, they will have troops go to their hospital. This makes no sense at all… how can they go to a hospital when it’s outside their base. All attacks outside the base should die or survive, shouldn’t be able to go to a hospital unless defending your base
Bottom line if you don’t spend tens of thousands of dollars on the game you are done. There is no recourse to protect yourself from higher lvl players bc they have it set up that 1k troops in drill ground will die regardless of what you do. And that is per hit.
Cherry on top is that the lvl 10 rss tiles don’t even give you 1 mil rss after gathering for 9 hours. So how do you get rss to build? Attack others and steal theirs? WRONG!!! After you attack a player more than 5-6 times your loadout gets reduced to only 5% meaning you can attack all day and barely get any rss.
Devs set it up to do anything in this game you have to pay for it.

Clearly developed by the same people that developed Top War, the game has a similar destination I fear. I played that game for months and sunk more money in than I’m proud to admit but much less than others. This game starts out … okay, but it’s still not quite what the ad showed and none of the screenshots shown here are legit which should be the first red flag. The marching battles are just okay, there isn’t much to be gained by moving around on the screen like the ads show and you can basically do them blind and still win. Beyond that though, you have to have some serious time and ADD. The screen is littered with things to click on, at least 6-12 red lights at any time demanding to be addressed making it much more time and concentration intensive than just doing some easy math. Ads are frequent and you’ll find that they don’t want you to play this game for free but you can. Overall I gave up on Top War since there was no way to be competitive without spending hundreds or thousands of dollars and this looks to be headed the same direction.
A mediocre half truth

If you've seen this game from the ads, the gameplay actually is what you see in the ads, for the most part. But that's it, the side to side shooting is the most basic element of this game. Which it would be fun if not for everything this game does that every other mobile games also does that ruins a fun experience.
The artwork looks like it was made by AI, they have sneaky ways of trying to trick you into making purchases, and the game has terrible scaling for resource necessity. By the time you make it to any real challenges, it will be because they rapidly increase the difficulty to force you to go slower to convince you to spend money so you can go as fast as you went in the first section of "gameplay". There's also a summoning system but you still have to spend resources to have heroes catch up with the ones you were already working on. There's a ton of information you should know about the game ahead of time you never see in the advertisements that ultimately undermines the fact that the levels are approximately what you see in the ads, just slightly more complex at times.
If you want to play a fun mobile game, I would advise you go elsewhere because this game is only fun for the first 5 hours you could feasibly get out of it. From there, it's just chores and the constant advertising of their micro transactions.

Game was fun at first. I love games where u have to build a city/town but then you realize what this game actually is a money grab game. I went through this before with the GameOfThrones game. Only people who have money to spend on this game are going to have fun playing this game. You get the two stars though because of the extreme paywall, PVP is unnecessary unless you want to force people to pay in order to win and an alliance system won’t help you from getting wrecked by pay to win players who will pay for the battle pass and the monthly subscription and max out the VIP meter and all the special deals that pop up and unlock all the queues. Which is perfectly fine to do, if I could I would but if your on a budget like I am I would stay way from this game.
Good job with the marketing though Homelander was the reason I tried the game. Amazing graphics also, love the way the town was coming together. If it was just building the community then I could see myself spending some money but PVP kills that.
The game is fun but theres so much locked behind paywalls. Why do i need to pay $10 to access a second tech center? Why cant i just use diamonds(in-game premium currency)? Why are there so many UR heroes only available through purchase? There is a gacha system but you can only get one UR hero from it while the rest are paid for. This game is not friendly to free to play players that are willing to grind. Other gacha games will still reward f2p players through grinding and using the premium game currency, but this game straight up says you have to pay for anything that will help you advance. What even is the point of the premium game currency here if i cant use it the way other games do? I know the developers will probably say you can enjoy this game without paying, but i doubt it. Considering the fun comes from advancing and gaining power, its hard to do so when the heroes, having multiple builders, squads, and tech centers, are locked behind paywalls since the premium currency is useless. Until they fix this aspect of the game and make everything more accessible to f2p players, i cant recommend this game to anyone not willing to spend boat loads of money on a mobile game

I had such high hopes in that the mini game shown in ads is actually what you get to do the moment you start playing. Ok excellent. I only want to play that and pass the time. But oh no.... Actually, in between the games, there's a base with demolished buildings or space to build new ones. And heros or leaders you end up getting when you advance. All too familiar gameplay that ends up being a war game to strengthen base under a time limited shield, only to get attacked by other players as soon as that shield expires. Unless you join an alliance or group or buy shields to stay protected, you will get attacked and most of resources you would need to maintain power gets taken.
I despise games such as these because I have no intentions to play war games or purchase in game content for one. I have consumed and wasted way too much time from other similar games in the past. All this game does is bring back the stressful moments of gaining power, only to get attacked by pay to win bullies who has absurd power in game. This will cause casuals like me to leave game and overall this game doesn't grow organically. Only pay to win players will remain. It's a silly concept and I want no part of it.
I will uninstall the moment I get bored or see the first attack that happens. I will need to find a game that actually has mini games like this one and nothing more.
Honest review to those interested

As someone who’s been playing roughly since release, you do get to play the levels they kind of put out in advertising(somewhat). However, after you clear out around your base from the zombie stages, you realize the zombie fighting gameplay decreases in quality(and overall showing up) and you end up with a typical base building game where you repeat the same tasks and the 2% of zombie stages like the somewhat ads will reach a stop point since power level gained by your base will prevent you from beating the level(also you will never see large balls of zombies or huge mutants coming at you, nor being able to get upgraded guns(like machine guns)or helicopters in those stages like the ads). After I’ve reached my HQ level of 20, I realized the game strongly becomes a pay to win base building game that bombards you with purchase packs(longest amount of X I had to push to finally access my HQ was 7), so much annoying that the only pack I finally got was just to get a hero that wouldn’t leave my display.
In sum, you can be a F2P as I now am, but keep in mind if you seek interest in constant in-app purchase bombardments and being demolished by pay to win players, the game does become stale and will question why you even play in events or things such as Alliance wars.
Can’t play long enough too many updates

by RinkyDinkyDog
I understand updating LastWar to fix bugs but EVERY DAY? Can even get in a good game without LastWar shutting down for updates. Also where are the instructions on what’s what? Tons of instructions and gimmicks to make you buy something at every corner but at least make it clearer what does what. I’m having to learn from other players because the instructions aren’t very clear. I purchased a Super monthly pass and not stuck on something saying Get Now referring to my daily rewards but the only thing there is Go to Garage. When there… crickets. So yeah a bit more info on gameplay and ease up on your marketing. I understand you want to make money but at the very least make the game more playable and not bombarded at every turn with “buy this”. Also the screen grabs you have here are not actual gameplay. I have yet to see any of those screens while playing.
This game was fun

by W00tec
This game is fun but once you get attacked and lose all of your troops. Good luck, because there is only one way to play and that’s buy hundreds of dollars for items to speed up your base healing and recruitment. I was lvl 20 and had to stop because all my troops got wiped out in a war and capital war. You actually meet really fun and interesting people but they all spend a lot of money. I think some people are working with the devs to encourage you to spend more because I have notice that some players always say you have to spend money to become stronger like I am? Very odd and suspicious. Anyhow I spent enough on this game. Unless I get a random 5k gems and some speed ups I won’t be coming back. There should be an option to just grind for players who don’t want to spend 20 to 100 dollars just to be able to fight other high level players. Thanks for your time and fun friends I met briefly.
So it’s extremely level based. You run through maybe 4 multipliers or power ups and then you’re done with the level. Only if you actually make mistakes will you lose.
The ads make it look like it will be an endless road of zombies and multipliers and obstacles and you’re going for a high score but it’s not. You run through a level and then the game has very Clash of Clans style base building. You click and drop your buildings and then must wait a timer for it to be built. I didn’t play long enough to see a building take more than a few minutes but I’m sure it will get to hours and you must use a premium currency to expedite it.
Also, all those instagram ads I see for this game start out “playing games people say are fake part X” where the heck are these guys’ other videos? Is that line fake too??
Fun at first….

by Dhakbsj
This game was a lot of fun for about the first 3-4 weeks. After that it is relentless attacks from opponents which depletes your army and takes several days to rebuild (at my current level) all to be attacked again before your army can even be back to 50% strength. You open LastWar to find you were attacked again, whether it was multiple times the same day or several times throughout a week, for really nothing. Your opponent doesn’t receive any significant resources from these attacks. This takes away from daily tasks you can complete due to lack of personnel/army strength and honestly takes away from enjoying the game.
The only way to get away from this is if you’re willing to pay actual money in order to speed-up training and healing or for shields. This maybe the developers ploy to get someone willing to pay actual money.
The developer needs to significantly improve this aspect of game play other wise I’ll just delete LastWar .
Fun game. Also a scam
2024-01-23
by S24j
I want to be completely honest in my review. The game is really fun. However, this game is a scam. Let me explain… in order to be successful and complete missions you must collect enough resources (gold coins, iron , food) to upgrade your soldiers to continue beating the missions. With that being said, You can have all the resources (and more) to upgrade but when you go to upgrade you have to purchase a “special” builder which is supposed to allow you to “permanently upgrade” for $2.99 smh. After you purchase that you can start upgrading ONLY until you need to eventually upgrade to even a higher level! Then you have to purchase the “unlimited builder” for $9.99 to upgrade EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE ALL THE RESOURCES YOU NEED IN ORDER TO UPGRADE! Talk about scam!! I’m also reporting to Apple themselves. Ripoff game

I really enjoy this game, I play it almost everyday, unfortunately with this new update that just got released almost 30 minutes ago, my account was messed up. The game would load but in the Home Screen there’s something blocking my screen. My level says 99 even tho I’m 12. My vip is back at 1 when I’m 7. And when I go into the storage I don’t see anything. I’m not able to play the gameright now and it’s kinda frustrating. Please help me fix my game. If I could send screenshots some how to show you guys better of what’s going on, let me know how.
A fun game, exactly like Top War their other game. Base survival upgrading game with heroes. Not very developed but overall not a bad game
It’s not a battle game like the ads, it’s a base building game.
2024-07-17
by Ck1dog
I gave this a few days trial. The cool battles like the ads and previews are a small part of the game, it’s actually a base building game. And that means a pay-to-win nightmare. Open the game? “Buy this character” Want to actually play? You need a higher level base, which means waiting or, you guessed it, paying. Notifications on the Home Screen of the game? Some of them are legit, about half of them are just prompts for micro transactions.
At your home base screen, there are various buildings you unlock as your hq levels up. Those buildings then have little icons over them that call you to action. Getting materials, healing characters, building more soldiers - sure. But half of those are just “buy this character” or “buy this pass” or the like. And no, those call to action notifications don’t ever go away.
Same with the top of the gui. You learn to essentially ignore everything except for a couple of icons even though it says that there are alerts, they’re nothing but micro transaction screens. That still say you have an alert/notification no matter what.
The gameplay when it’s as shown in the ads is fun, and I’d love if this game was mostly that. But that wouldn’t be as much of a micro transaction nightmare so I understand why the developers don’t do that.
It’s fun but

by Aqua Sky
It’s fun and so far exactly like the ads BUT my main complaint and what knocked two stars off my rating is it shuts off whatever music or book you’re listening to. You can’t listen to anything and play at the same time which is very annoying for someone like myself who only plays a little before bed while listening to a book. I haven’t found any kind of settings option to try and see if the cut off is something that can be changed or not. This flaw will honestly prevent me from playing the game.
Misleading, not a casual game to play alone.

by ChiroGamer
I’m a Mom of two littles wanting to find a game like in the ads that doesn’t require a large time commitment but was fun to keep coming back to in the short moments I have. The ad content becomes a smaller and smaller portion of the game as you progress when really it’s a time consuming army building game with a huge PVP element that you can’t opt out of. The build times become outrageous so as soon as your garrison gets attacked 24 times by three people in a row(might be less than that but that’s what I entered the game to find) my base was relocated and I literally couldn’t rebuild my army in time before I was attacked again and my resources were depleted and couldn’t rebuild and heal my army fast enough. This game only works long term if you join a large guild. I tried to join 2 different guilds but both required I get a discord and when I said I wanted to use in game chat… I was kicked out. I hate that. So ultimately, it was fun for the week where you go through the ad content in LastWar and then after it’s just another stressful PVP war game with already obnoxiously powered people and no protections in place to keep the newer players from being destroyed so fast they loose motivation to come back. Bye
New user experience needs work
2024-05-06
by Yonnyboy5
This game has a lot of different content for people to do that is pretty enjoyable. However, there are few tutorials which leave a new user lost in what to do. I find myself chasing the red dots not knowing what is actually accomplishing. I cannot find any helpful guides to explain what something is. Example that icon in the blue and red thumb in the tec building. Much of the content like alliance, there isn’t a lot of detail to tell you what it is showing you and what you are supposed to be doing. Does it cost resources to help? If so, what is it costing? How is it helping them? There needs to be a lot more work in explaining guiding new users. Now that the buildings I am upgrading are taking 12 hours, it seems to need some grind feature to keep a player busy and active in the game that doesn’t cost resources. If you run out of energy, you either paid or log off. Not ideal to keep people active
Game is actually fun to play and I would give it 5 stars but, it completely takes over the audio on my phone and I can’t figure out why. I like to listen to music and audiobooks while I play games on my phone but while LastWar is open it simply will not let me play anything. I have all the sounds turned off, the background music, the sound effects, even in my app settings I have sounds turned off for LastWar . This a complete turn off me, I probably won’t spend much more time on it because I’m always listening to a book and I won’t be able to while I play this.
Ads & screenshots are lying
2024-01-23
by DnLxELITE
The ads and screenshots you see about this game are overly exaggerated and probably relates to 1% of the entire game. This is a base building game, with elements of conquest. If youre not in a strong/active alliance, you’ll probably have a hard time progressing. The micro transactions seem a bit dumb, since some of the small initial purchases seem vital to grow your base competitively. Meaning, you probably need to buy the 2$ pack so you can construct two buildings at a time, instead of one. Lame. My alliance helps make this game enjoyable. Hope more UR tier heroes get added to the ticket pool because right now there is only 1 UR unit you can pull with summon tickets.
After a bit, you’re just playing Sim City plus Zombies
2024-06-07
by MBOuser
It starts off better than most freemium games. You’re the mayor-ahem*-commander of bunch of “heroes” and a shelter against zombie attacks. The idea is to your strengthen your heroes and your little town. To strengthen your heroes and little town, you collect resources that strengthen the heroes and the town. You collect resources by fighting monsters and forming an alliance with other players. At first, the building progress is reasonable and the strengthening process is perceptible. Relatively soon, however, inflation hits hard. You will need tons of resources and time in order to advance the level/strength of your heroes and get your building upgrades built. Sure, you can speed things up, but that’ll cost you. If you choose to be patient, you’ll be waiting days just to progress a few a times and to build necessary infrastructure and research to become stronger. So it becomes like sim city - you get online in order to collect some resources and then wait. It gets a bit boring unless you give in and start paying up. The fees aren’t crazy, but they add up - that’s what it’s all about. No outside ads, which is really nice, and there’s always something to click around and look at on the map. It’s not mind blowing, but meant to kill time and get a small shot of dopamine.
Suggestions

by Lmjg2012
I love this game, been playing it daily for like 3 months now. But, it would be helpful to have a more detailed guide for events and how to score on them, or how to earn points.
Second, I’d love to see an improved way of allowing allowance communication. Such as setting markers on other war zones to teleport there such as in alliance VS events or capitol war. I would like to see notifications too about when arms race events start, capitol attack, alliance exercise, or at least allow alliance leaders to be able to send notifications via LastWar (maybe an optional feature).
Third, for terms of organization and entertainment it would be nice to be able to lift everything off your base at once to be able to rearrange. Otherwise, it’s too tedious to lift things one by one. It would be cool to see if we could see other bases and how they look, such as in our alliance members.

It took a couple weeks to completely understand and get my bearings but when I had any questions I reached out to customer service and they got back to me not long after. I do wish they gave out more rewards and made leveling up easier. You’d have to spend thousands of dollars to become strong enough to beat some of their bosses and other players. I usually just buy the battle passes or all of the weekly passes but I still barely level up. I’ve been playing daily for over 2 months and my headquarters is just now level 20. That’s a lot of time and money for not much gain. Overall though it’s a pretty enjoyable time killer, they should just do better with rewards because people get bored of not being able to play or upgrade because they don’t have enough recourses.
No random adds, just one offer when you start up. But it would be great and super helpful to be able to train either more troops or train them faster. It takes over a day to train 500 of them (depending on tier). It can be shaved down a couple hours using the promoting technique, but still I think is way too much, especially if you can’t ask for help from you alliance. My other gripe is similar: it takes about(depending on hero level) 10-12 hours to harvest about 500k of whatever. Which is almost pointless because it takes *millions* to do upgrades past level 15 which can be done in a couple of days. So I think more reasonable times for train and gathering and being able to ask for help-just like you can for literally everything else, would make the game five stars!

Last war advertisements would lead you to believe this is a game just with zombies coming at you, and you either upgrade your guns and troop counts successfully based on your character position. But that is so far from what this game is. You have to build a town, join an alliance, and conquer these weekly and daily events. It is free to play and while it can be fun, they really dangle and tempt things in front of you to purchase. They also have a weekly battle pass that costs an astronomical 20$, I’m not sure why they are so greedy with that. Make it 5$ and many more people would be interested. Anyways, this game is far from what i described in the beginning and more about coordinating with fellow alliance members. Fun nonetheless, just don’t fall in the hole of compulsively paying to become stronger.
Speed ups

To all who read this, This is a Great socially interactive Game. The advertising is showing you the side missions which are as they seem, you just have to grow power to beat and pass them. There is no ads and any in app purchases are strictly if you want to buy. I recommend this game for sure!
To the developers, I am really enjoying playing this game but I have one small thing that urks. Love the one hour speed ups, the 8 hour speed ups and newly added 15 minute speed ups. Was wondering if you could also add a 4 hour speed up, or make it possible to use the 8 hour speed up on 2 different things? Also, the Store turn over is very long, could you possibly add more Speed ups to purchase or make the turnover shorter because after you are in a war, all the progress you made get's lost if you can't replenish to defend what you have won. That's All and thank you for your time.

Plunder cap

I wish you would get rid of the cap for plundering. Or raise it as your hq gets bigger. This is the only part of the game I really hate.
So far loving the game I just don’t understand what the 4 positions under the leader are supposed to do?
Tricked by clickbait, stayed for great gameplay

Title sums it up, I seen an advertisement showing gameplay that was only 10% of the Actual games playability, and ended up staying for the past almost month due to how great this game is for killing some time, it is one of those background type of games, set it up, farm resources etc.. and leave it be.
I do have to say, there aren’t nearly enough free gifts or aid for Free2play people, and the best Pay2play packs are upwards of $100, yet yield Minimal resources for the amount of money being spent.
Overall, it’s worth a play, but I wouldn’t recommend getting tricked into spending any kind of money on it, you could spend $2000 and still be weaker than most of the stronger players.
Just like the ads

Very immersive experience. I can’t put it down. I’ve played the initial download in the distant past and failed to play long enough to let the game develop. But after EXTENDING myself and allowing the experience to develop, I haven’t been able to put it down…even transferring to all my mobile platforms to REMAIN immersed. So interested I had to throw a few dollars to it. Definitely recommend folks
This purchase wasn’t supposed to happen. we weren’t aware you had to pay for this game it didn’t show a price when asking to double click to confirm game download. I deleted the game before it could finish downloading, it happened minutes from this post being posted. How can we go about me getting a refund?
I was expecting less

This game is amazing and is really fun I play a lot of phone games and this has to be one of the best and it actually lets you play a lot of what it shows in the ads unlike other games
Really Great Game

I love this game it the perfect game for multi tasking where as you can do many modes for fighting. The only problem is that you cannot change alliance member permissions and the rank’s perms cannot be changed
This is a fun game and good for the brain in terms of building and organizational skills. Been playing I guess for a month now. The only thing I take issue with is dropping a 2nd tech center in my base that you have to pay for with your own money rather than earning it or saving up diamonds. I did pay for a couple of construction queues which was well worth it. There are people that build power fast by dumping a bunch of money into the game then use it to attack commanders that are trying to build from the ground up organically. I guess that’s the way of the world. People that have money stepping all over people who don’t.
Last War is a captivating game that seamlessly blends engaging gameplay with a variety of activities to keep players immersed. Its diverse sections offer a dynamic gaming experience, ensuring that boredom is never on the horizon. One standout feature is the alliance aspect, adding a layer of social interaction and strategic collaboration. Forming alliances not only enhances the overall gaming experience but also introduces a rewarding teamwork dynamic.
The game's execution is commendable, particularly in its approach to a genre that can often feel overwhelming due to complex mechanics. Last War strikes an excellent balance, making it accessible for players who might not be familiar with the genre's typical format. The inclusion of rewarding elements further incentivizes players to invest time and effort, ensuring that progression feels both satisfying and meaningful. Overall, Last War manages to deliver a fun and rewarding gaming experience, proving that thoughtful execution can elevate a game within a competitive genre.
I should mention that this game isn’t a pay to play. Buying things in it helps but you can enjoy the game with out spending a dime.
It’s everything you’d expect from a modern mobile game but that’s okay

I found this game through an Instagram ad for it, I didn’t expect too much from it at first. I decided to look more into it because the ad didn’t do much justice to it. But after installing it I found it pretty entertaining, with a lot more to boot than I expected it to be. It has your typical mobile game price gouging but outside of that it’s entertaining enough for a decent rating.
Ridiculously Addictive and fun

This game is more than I bargained for! It’s been truly fun and addicting to play. I thought I was just gonna play a simple so desired game with the cute little bonus games but it’s got a whole community building and a great available for every single job you would need to survive in a post apocalyptic zombie era game. It’s like clash of clans in brawl stars are rolled into one if you’re into games like this, I truly truly and highly recommend this one five stars truly earned

I recently played *The War: Survival*, and I have to say, it’s one of the most impressive games I’ve encountered in a long time. Despite the negative reviews claiming it’s nothing like the ad and giving it 1-2 stars, I can assure you that this game truly deserves a solid 5 out of 5 stars.
First off, the gameplay is top-notch. The developers clearly put a lot of effort into creating a rich, immersive experience. The graphics are stunning, and the mechanics are smooth and engaging. It’s clear that the game surpasses the hype of its advertisement in the best possible way.
The negativity from the other reviewers is baffling. It seems like some people might have missed the point or expected something different. *The War: Survival* doesn’t just meet expectations—it exceeds them. The depth of strategy and the variety of challenges make each session exciting and fresh. If you’re a fan of survival games, this is a must-play.
In summary, if you’re on the fence because of the mixed reviews, don’t be. *The War: Survival* is a fantastic game that offers an exceptional experience, far better than advertised. Ignore the naysayers and dive in—you won’t be disappointed!

Games good people are great I guess depending on ur server #, but you can choose to pay but if ur somewhat the least little bit patient not completely necessary until you get in the larger HQ size n ur strong holds different areas that all have to be raised but if you play a decent amount it’s pretty easy to do w:o to much investment or if you so choose any if your willing to play off the basic amenities given as you grow… but its worth it to anyone looking for a game your willing to invest a lot of time to… but you do not have to pay to play long enough t find out so give it a go…. Pretty much a rip off. Without paying, a person gets nowhere in this game. Larger alliances (possibly led by devs? It sure seems like it) can wipe anyone out at any time. Whomever invests the most money to play is going to dominate the game. It basically wanting to build an addiction. If you have a gambling problem, stay away from this one.

This game is a scam!! Once you start playing they will charge you in the in-app purchase. Then when you dispute this fake charge, they hold your game hostage and wont unlock it until you pay. It’s extortion. CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT coming very soon! 2,743 already signed up on reddit and Discord.
