I rarely leave a bad review but in this case I felt it was well deserved. I updated my app this morning and was delighted to see one of my favorites had bags available. I went on to select my bag but it wouldn’t let me pay. I decided to go down there in person since there were 5+ bags left. Complete waste of time and gas. You can’t pay in the store and couldn’t pay on GoodieBag . I’m deleting GoodieBag immediately and telling everyone I referred to it. Ok, had to leave one star because GoodieBag Store won’t let you leave no stars.

In the week of me having GoodieBag, it has NEVER loaded. It doesn’t matter if I’m WiFi or data, clicking a notification or just going in randomly- nothing. Both the discover page and the search page just keep buffering. Great idea but can’t work if GoodieBag doesn’t.

The concept is great and was happy when I came across this from a local source in my city in Charlotte. I was off work for over a week and perfect time to test GoodieBag out. I would get the alerts since I had them turned on for GoodieBag . Literally as soon as I would receive notifications, and click on them them,the store is sold out immediately. How is this so if I just received 2 seconds ago and clicked immediately. The pickup times are also weird which I could still deal with. GoodieBag also gets stuck often and takes forever loading. I have had to turn my phone off and restart just to get GoodieBag to work. While this is a great concept, it’s useless and have now deleted.

Great concept but GoodieBag is completely unusable. Not sure if it cannot handle the amount of people who are trying to access timely deals but it is more frustration than anything else.

Usually I love GoodieBag, however lately there is a bug that will not allow me to sign in, create an account, or purchase without an account. Errors all around. I can see goodie bags available near me and when I called the shop they said they realized they hadn’t been getting orders all day. Unsure what to do or how to contact the folks at Goodie Bag.

The concept is great but GoodieBag literally DOES NOT WORK. Every time a notification pops up, I click into GoodieBag and all I get is an error. It sure likes to work when nothing is available but that’s it. So disappointed

GoodieBag is a great concept but you obviously cannot handle the demand. GoodieBag takes forever to load anytime I get a notification. I’ve very rarely been able to purchase anything due to the delay in loading.

Love the concept. Downloaded and was ready give it a try. The first notification came in. Clicked it and app fails to load then gives 404 error. Nothing wrong with Wi-Fi on this end. Seems notifications draw a rush and app can’t handle it. Well I was ready to give this a try. Poor app led to epic fail and loss of user at the onset. Too bad again the concept is great.

The concept behind sustainable food and avoiding food waste is awesome and there are some great deals that Goodie Bag offers BUT....GoodieBag is HORRIBLE. And I mean it's terrible. So bad. It takes forever to load after clicking on a banner nonfiction so by the time I've loaded GoodieBag , the offer I previously clicked on is nonexistent. This happens almost 9 times out of 10 and it's incredibly frustrating for restaurants with higher demand. If you happen to select a goodie bag for a high-demand restaurant before it sells out, the likelihood of actually getting the bag you selected is decreased because Goodie Bag allows for your bag to be taken by another user before checking out. So, with their glitchy app, it's unlikely that you'll actually check out with a Goodie Bag that's desirable. On a week-to-week average, the amount of bags I actually get after clicking on a notification follows an average ratio of 1 to 20, with the issue almost always being GoodieBag failing to load.

This is such a great idea and the demand is there for GoodieBag, so please don't screw it up by failing to fix your apps issues.

I love the concept behind Goodie Bag, and when it works, it’s great! Unfortunately, GoodieBag itself is a major letdown. It crashes constantly, making it nearly impossible to use, and I often get stuck on loading screens. I really want to enjoy the experience, but until they fix GoodieBag ’s performance issues, it’s just too frustrating to recommend.

GoodieBag is a great idea in concept, but the delivery is not good. GoodieBag crashes every single time an order becomes available. I’m assuming it’s because it can’t handle the amount of people fighting over the order. Also not gonna lie, the discounts aren’t even that great. For leftover food that’s about to get thrown away, these businesses are still basically charging almost full price. For example… $12 for a box of donuts that’s about to get thrown out? Kinda a ripoff. My advise is to fix GoodieBag from crashing and bring down the prices.

This is a great concept, but GoodieBag will not reliably connect to the internet. It is also very slow. If they can fix issues with GoodieBag then I’d give it another try!

App is slow to load.

GoodieBag never works! Very frustrating. Can not get past the instructions for GoodieBag . Every time I go on it just goes right back to instructions for GoodieBag .

Maybe it’s bugged but there’s always a huge delay when opening GoodieBag so you rarely get your choice of picks anyway. Deleting.

There are literally 2-3 stores (the same ones ) everyday. Please work on your marketing, there are so many places willing to work with you.

It's only in Colorado, Arizona North Carolina and Ohio. It's not in every part of the state either.

I love the concept of GoodieBag and was able to get one goodie bag, but it’s quite buggy. Every time I try to load the page it always gives me 404 errors, which makes it difficult to secure bags before they run out.

Love the concept, app works pretty well, but it feels dead in Fort Collins for how many restaurants are present in the area. Hope to see more restaurants come online, but right now it’s not very robust and lacks options. Rooting for you, Goody Bag!

I wish there were more merchants in Phoenix. How can I help?

GoodieBag bugs out almost every day. It won’t connect or spends two to three minutes in loading constantly just to tell you your wifi is down. Many times I get a notification that a bag is up but then my app spends over four minutes loading and I know I have no chance.

This has quickly become my favorite app! I’ve literally probably saved upwards of $200 in several months of using it. Also a great way to try a new spot without breaking the bank.

I am such a big fan of this app! Such a great way to combat food waste while providing the ability to try local spots at a discount. Even with GoodieBag launching in Phoenix only a few months ago, there’s a decent selection of vendors to choose from. I’m excited to see the continued expansion across the valley.

I love GoodieBag. Im a big fan of receiving a discount (who isn’t??), but I feel like that’s never been possible. I love that you get perfect quality food for less. Seems like a win win for restaurants and users alike… less food waste and amazing discounts. Love it

Biggest no brainer ever. GoodieBag rocks!

I was one of the early MVP users in Boulder when they launched. Love the deals on food and great restaurants that Goodie Bag offers. It’s a real value, and I think they are helping the environment by reduce food waste a ton! Try it out, you’ll love it.

Just ordered my first goodie bag from a local place I’ve eaten from before and it was the same food but less than half the price

Only improvement would be the notifications had sound!

I use GoodieBag multiple times a week. I just think it’s so great. At one of my more recent pick ups I actually met someone from the this app team and they were super duper nice and it was nice being able to see that the company is run by real people who actually care about it and its customers!!

Easy to navigate app and I love the idea! Goodie Bag for the win! 10/10 recommend

Not only was the food I picked up EXCELLENT, but the concept of limiting food waste is even better. Give this a try and support your local businesses at the same time!
