Unable to get Free lifetime access

Last week I downloaded FitbitSynctoAppleHealth with the free lifetime access. Unfortunately, FitbitSynctoAppleHealth was not working appropriately and was not syncing with my Fitbit. So I deleted FitbitSynctoAppleHealth , and when I tried to reinstall it, it would not give me the option for the free lifetime access. It would not even allow me to login. Maybe if I was able to login, it would realize that I have had already the lifetime access and it would go through. And now it wants to charge me.

Won't update steps accurately or in timely way

I downloaded FitbitSynctoAppleHealth to use to update my Fitbit activities with the Health app on my iPhone. I am also using Noom vibes and I wanted to my Fitbit activity. FitbitSynctoAppleHealth will not sync well. It sinks to steps achieved many hours ago, but no matter how many times I ask it to sync or close and reopen FitbitSynctoAppleHealth , it just will not update completely. For instance, today I have over 5000 steps. FitbitSynctoAppleHealth only shows 3345. It has said that for over two hours. The new vibes, you earn points for your activity as long as you can upload that activity. But since I cannot upload that activity until the apps sync to my iPhone, I will not get credit. If the day ends without the steps uploaded accurately, it's a loss. You can't add them later.

What’s the deal?

What did you guys do last update? Sit down and think “our app is working great, how can we screw it up?” I don’t like the new way of syncing, I prefer just being able to push the wheel when I wish, plus it isn’t recording my BMI from my Fitbit app to my Apple Health either, which is weird, because it does still record the weight. I’m using a Fitbit Aria scale which would save my weight to my Fitbit app then I would sync it to apple health with FitbitSynctoAppleHealth. Go back to the way you had it. It was fine.

Almost Perfect

So far FitbitSynctoAppleHealth works great, but there is one important improvement I would like to be made. I wish FitbitSynctoAppleHealth synced data that would help close the activity rings in the Apple Health and Apple Fitness apps. If/When this update or feature is implemented, this would be the perfect app!

Best one

I tried a few syncing apps and this was far and away the most accurate and easiest I’ve tried. Anytime the syncing is off, I find stopping the sync, Apple health, and Fitbit apps (swiping up) and restarting fixes things. I haven’t needed customer service yet, but it seems they are very engaged with FitbitSynctoAppleHealth and willing to help. This is the one to get IMO :). Happy stepping!

Great service!

Was syncing fine then stopped. I emailed and got such great service. Rep kept in constant contact including Friday and all day Saturday. If they asked for something, the minute I sent it they responded. Started up again on Sunday morning and problem was solved.

Edited Review

Just wanted to update my previous review to say that feedback and support from the developers has been beyond excellent and the issues that I encountered are completely fixed. I’ve never received this kind of assistance on FitbitSynctoAppleHealth Store, so bravo!!!

Finally

I was unable to sync my fit bit to my Apple Health app. So I downloaded SyncFit to help me. Unfortunately I was unable to do it and the steps number was wildly off. However. The sync app person helped me figure it all out. Yes. It took determination but we did it. Thanks for hanging in there w me.

Best app for heartrate syncing

I’ve been trying to find an app to sync my resting heartrate to Apple health. Basically just trying to do a one-time export before I switch over to an Apple Watch, and heartrate was the only thing I felt my Fitbit tracked accurately.

FitbitSynctoAppleHealth was the only one I found that could do a one-time heartrate sync for free!

Works and great support

I originally gave FitbitSynctoAppleHealth one star because it did not sync more than a year of data. Developers were quick to contact me and update FitbitSynctoAppleHealth to fix the issue. Now all my data back from 2014 is synced. You may have to do this one data category at a time. The developer says this is a Fitbit limitation.

Really good app, even better customer service!

I was having trouble getting my Fitbit and Apple Health to sync on the first day, so I emailed support. They responded VERY quickly, and then they continued to work with me for several hours through emails to help me get everything working together. We finally were able to solve the problem, and since then, it’s worked great! Incredibly happy with the time and effort they spend to make sure you’re getting what you need. Really love that I finally have a way to keep all of my info synced instead of manually adding data to Health app.

Fantastic support!

FitbitSynctoAppleHealth worked really well and synced years of Fitbit data to apple health including highly detailed fields like heart rate. I ran into a bug syncing workout routes and filed a help request. The team were super responsive and quickly got me onto a beta test build with the fix which managed to sync all of my data. I used the paid subscription but it’s totally worth it IMO!

What I Needed to Export Fitbit Data

I switched my Fitbit to the google account and the data export functionality was terrible. I used this to export Fitbit data to Apple Health, I then used the “Health Export” app to export csv files for my records. It took some manipulation to correct the data. Sleep total start and stop time was correct but sleep events such as rem and awake were all off by 2 hours. After putting some formulas in Excel and then using pivot tables I was able to continue my multiple years tables of Fitbit data. This is the only solution I have found for Googles terrible data tool. Thanks!

Update Fixed

Edit as of Dec 10: the data I requested synced. I have years of data though so it initially hit the hourly limit. Everything is in my Health app now.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to sync any data. I got an error followed by an hourly request limit. I saw a reply that it will be fixed in their next update. Whenever that happens I will adjust my review if it is working.

App works very well, developers are highly responsive

Initially downloaded FitbitSynctoAppleHealth to share workout data with friends (who use apple watch + iphone).

App:

- syncs data to apple health from fitbit (including workout type)
- sync happens pretty quickly and setup is fairly easy
- people i’ve shared my health data with get notifications about my workouts like apple watch users do

I highly recommend FitbitSynctoAppleHealth for my use case. In addition, the developers are highly responsive to feedback. When I initially downloaded FitbitSynctoAppleHealth , workout type did not sync over and friends did not get notifications. I emailed the developers about this and they responded immediately and within about a week rolled out a fix.

I am paying for premium fwiw

Excellent app!

I tried several other apps, this one just works.

I just switched to Apple Watch and wanted to bring more than a decade of Fitbit data into Apple Health.

After installing FitbitSynctoAppleHealth on my iPad, I asked it to sync five data categories. Because of Fitbit limitations, multiple manual syncs were required for some data. It quickly and smoothly sync'd Steps, Sleep and Weight data. Resting Heart rate and Heart Rate data transferred more slowly.

Descent App

New to FitbitSynctoAppleHealth . Directions to sync were pretty easy. Initial difficulty with info syncing (if you have had your FitBit a long time, it takes time to sync and there is a limit per hour).

Reached out to customer service which actually boosted a 4/5 to 5/5. Customer service was almost immediate and walked me through everything to get things to sync appropriately.

There is a fee for usage which is fair but know, it’s not a free app. It’s about $40/year or $60+ for lifetime.

5 stars with a little effort

When I first got FitbitSynctoAppleHealth it didn’t work as I expected - the sync was timing out before it finished and each hour I had to try again. I sent a note to the help email and they were super helpful- they advised an update was coming and instructed me to not try to sync all the data- so I deselected some and set for auto update. After a couple days it was able to fully synch my data- I have had my Fitbit for a long time and there was a lot of data. I am full satisfied now and felt the tech support was awesome!

UPDATED Review

Thank you to Yuri, the problem was is on safari my pop-ups were blocked which is the reason it could not sync. The developer is very responsive when you write a view and they reach out to you. once I was able to sync, everything, all data was passed onto the Health app. Thank you for your help and support ❤️

Previous review: Does not open Fitbit account I was waiting a long time to log in to my Fitbit account and tried to bypass it go through Google Chrome. That worked but went back to FitbitSynctoAppleHealth and still did not work.

Best app when it comes to syncing with Apple health

I’ve tried every app you can think of. Obviously it isn’t ideal that Fitbit doesn’t auto sync with Apple health. With that said, after 2-3 days of all my data syncing from FitbitSynctoAppleHealth, it continues to auto sync with my data many times throughout the day! Great app, highly recommend the yearly subscription or the lifetime subscription!
