Here are some helpful workarounds that should work whenever Global Entry app keeps crashing or doesn't work as expected on your iPhone 14, 13,12,10,8,7,6, SE,XS,XR.

How to fix Global Entry app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Global Entry app on iPhone
Update Global Entry app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Global Entry iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Global Entry on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Global Entry network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, Goto "Settings" » "General" » "Reset" » "Reset Network Settings".
2. Enter your device passcode. Then confirm "Reset Network Settings".

Fix Global Entry not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Follow these steps to resolve intermittent Global Entry app issues:

Force Stop the Global Entry App
1. On android, goto "Settings" » click Global Entry app. » click "Force Stop".

Update Global Entry to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Global Entry App Cache and Data:
1. On your device, goto "Settings" » click "Apps" » select "Global Entry app" » click "Storage" » click "Clear Data" option. This Clears both data and cache.
2. Relaunch Global Entry.

Fix Global Entry unable to contact server/ Global Entry internet connection errors on Android:

This issue is usually caused by your network. Here is how to fix:

On android, goto "Settings" » "Apps" or "Manage Apps" tab.
Click Global Entry » "Force Stop".
Next, goto "Storage" » "Clear Data".
Again, got Global Entry » "Mobile Data" » "Allow Background Data Usage".
Go back to "Settings" » "Connections" » "Mobile Network" » "Network Mode".
Now, put your network on 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Global Entry on android.

The Global Entry mobile application enables active Global Entry members to report their arrival at any supported airport in the place of a stationary Global Entry portal. Once you’ve successfully submitted, you will receive a receipt of your submission that you must present to a Global Entry officer upon arrival. You must be an active member in the Global Entry program to use GlobalEntry. Note: If you are not enrolled in the Global Entry program, you are not eligible to use this mobile application. GlobalEntry does not enable enrollment for the Global Entry program. Simply choose your arrival airport from list of supported airports and submit a photo of yourself to CBP for verification. Be sure to complete this process while you are physically located within your arrival terminal. Be prepared to offer further travel documentation upon request. You must either proceed with the normal entry process or use the free CBP Mobile Passport Control app.
