The game seems like a lot of fun which is good and it only barely came out global so I understand about some issues. The one thing I have to complain about is a bug that doesn’t let me summon. I go to summon and it kicks me out of the game. It’s infuriating cause i want to play but I can’t. Love the anime and can’t wait to see what happens with the game, it has a lot of potential.

The game looks like it has amazing potential, however I can’t even play. It kicks me from summons after a split second for some reason. If i click the “Summon x1” or “Summon x10” buttons quick enough before it kicks me, i do get the units i pulled. It just really ruins my experience and is such a core component of the game stripped from my playthrough. Hopefully this gets fixed sometime soon and I truly believe this game has vast potential.

It’s just clips from the anime. There is literally no game play besides tapping the screen to continue reading dialogue. You don’t even get to do anything in the battles besides watch chibi sprites of the characters from the anime lazily bump into eachother without any control from the player.

I'm a big fan of Gurren Lagann, so when I saw that there was a mobile game for it, I downloaded it immediately. However, I have a couple of significant issues with the game. Firstly, it doesn't seem to fit well on the screens of the newest iPhone generations, such as my iPhone 14. Some of the game options are halfway off my screen, making them nearly impossible to select. Additionally, I found the tutorial to be a bit slow and lacking in interaction. During the first few fights in the tutorial, I spent a lot of time just watching, which was somewhat frustrating. However, I did like how the game has the opening of the anime playing when you first load it up. It felt so nostalgic. I am looking forward to seeing this game grow.

Just started and it’s true to the show so far, can’t wait to really let loose, crashed a few times on the load up or gets stuck at first loading screen. Usually after changing apps and coming back after the 5 minute limit. Not sure if it’s just me though

As a fan of Gurren Lagann I am enjoying this game, only reason I gave it 4 stars is because we can’t change the ability to fit to screen. I have an iPhone 11 and some of the icons are cut off because my screen is too small, so the option to fit to phone screen would be much appreciated.

This game is so fun more fun than I expected I love the anime & they should definitely make a console game out of this a whole free roam rpg type game

Wow i just started playing the game it already got me excited they kept the same animation and also music it just so cool. I had my doubts it will be a lame game but it not and very happy about that hopefully you guys make more updates of this game this might be my favorite anime game I have ever seen

I want to like this game , but I don’t think it’s gonna happen due to the fact that when I get to the tutorial where it teaches you how to summon . It keeps crashing right after I hit summon and I restarted the game and reinstalled it. The issue is still there . I’ve made two accounts on a different server to see if that works , nope it still crashes. I want to play it but it’s not letting me .

It was a nice game up until I got to the recruiting tutorial, then my game completely crashed. I thought it was a one time thing but every time I reload TengenToppaGurrenLagannEN to that point it just crashes so I can’t continue.

It’s quite a boring and lazily made game. I just don’t see how it would ever be worth it to spend money on the in-game shop, especially sense I’m not sure it’s worth anyones time. I’m giving it a 2 star rating because while I like some of the animations the gunmen have, everything else is incredibly bland.

God this game kicked me right in the nostalgia bone. Having a lot of fun playing it and collecting the different gunmen, only wish you had more control of them for fights

Awesome game there’s a few thing that should be updated for QoL!

Disgusting micro transactions, could be model swapped with any other franchise and nothing would be lost, just ports anime cutscenes/retelling does nothing cool, gross vip pay to win levels, a romance system with nia? Ew ick. Like finally a gurren lagann game and it’s so bad. Like actually nothing fun or redeeming for this.

Seems fun but constant freezing and need to constantly close out and reopen TengenToppaGurrenLagannEN really ruins any fun I thought I could have. Unacceptable amounts of lag and crashes. Can’t even collect the login bonus.

I’m sorry but that long tutorial makes it annoying as a first time experience no matter what oh well

The game is fully automated, no interaction required unless your upgrading, summoning, clicking to the next stage, or spending money. But it’s not fun in the slightest. Waste of time and you should honestly wait for something better that hopes the Gurren Lagann name

Games really great quality. Not something that holds up in a lot of afk games. Stays true to story of the anime, characters depicted excellently, gameplay grinding is a little difficult but definitely rewarding. But there are some minor issues.

Summoning is kinda unforgiving in this game seeing as out of 100 summons im lucky if i see one epic or unique five star so i think that needs a buff surely. Feels like epic drops are at a 0.01 drop rate with all the purples and blues i get.

I also just hit my first annoying bug where the game crashes when i click into the summoning area. Im hoping to see it fixed soon since right now im at a standstill on the 11:40 story chapter. My gunmen need star upgrades.

Also nias intimacy vip setting feels almost impossible to grind further without pouring my half my life savings into this game. I spent a decent amount due to my love for gurren lagann already wanting to power through to More endgame stuff but currently im in a stalemate with the summoning area crash and being stuck at the end of chapter 11.

It’s just the game your looking for it you want a rpg type game it has awesome graphics a good story line and the characters look and do amazing in the game it’s really a good game if your bored and there no games to play i highly recommend this game for now at launch at least

There’s always bugs with the free drills and inject spiral power wheel. The drop rates in the summon pool are very low for anything good and I’ve spent over 200 summons and still havnt seen what I needed to advance. The afk aspect is nice and the game is fun and good quality other than the few bugs. But it is nostalgic if you watched the anime and I would recommend giving it a try.

I loved the show and wanted to like this game too but it is terrible. Riddled with micro transactions and is extremely ptw. You do nothing in this game besides read cutscenes. All “gameplay” is taken out of your hands and is all auto battle. Interface is bad and there is no new story or anything of value added. It would be better to just watch gurren lagann itself. This is a shell of a game.

While I understand most AFK games need a bit of grinding to get better, but this game is on a whole other level to just upgrade past the level cap or breakthrough. I took almost a whole week gaining enough just to do it once after you level them up around 180. I think the pulls need to have a better system to get the gunmen that you do need. Seriously, what is the point of the two stars at this rate. They’re just useless.

I’m a huge fan of Gurren Lagann and would love to be a fan of this game and sing its praises like I have for the original anime. However, every time I attempt to log in I’m met with nothing but a message claiming the server is full. I’m not sure if this a bug or an actual issue with server space but I’d love for it to be fixed so I can play and enjoy this game full of my favorite characters from my favorite fictional world. Will update review once I’m actually able to play.

This game is not great by any means. Everything is a purchase. When there is a weekly event you can’t earn enough of the bonus to get top rewards. You have to make another purchase to get top rewards. Don’t bother getting this game unless you just want to constantly throw money at it.

Download the game because I enjoyed the anime. I have yet to play the game because every time I launch the game all of the servers are full; even though a couple of servers are marked as open/green. I’d love to play the game but can’t even enjoy it, not even at 3AM EST.

I downloaded the game and out of the 27 severs, all of them were full. It was incredibly annoying.

This is one of my favorite anime’s. It doesn’t get enough love, but GOD does it deserve it. TengenToppaGurrenLagannEN feels like a love letter to the fans in a way. Simply fantastic!

The lack of fresh player base due to the sheer greed of this company has red flagged me that it won’t last even a year from its release. No new units since its release, little to no communication on what they’re working on, constant bugs, no incentives or increased chances when doing a 10x roll so you can roll 10x blue units(which happens to many people) just like if you were to do 10 single rolls, the list goes on.
I was #2 in EN-3 up until I quit and I can honestly say don’t spend a dime and don’t waste your time.

I’ve been playing almost since launch and for some inexplicable reason when opening up TengenToppaGurrenLagannEN today I’ve lost all progress and keep being forced to start from the beginning tutorial. Unless there’s some way to fix this I won’t continue any longer. I enjoyed it up until this problem.

You guys more servers they’re all full, so I can’t even try it?

Every server I try to join is full regardless of the color, even the green servers say they’re full. Not changing my review until this is fixed.

Tried to recover when logged out and all they said was “Dear, if you have not log in the game last time over 14 days and did not recharge in game, team will clear the character and progress.”

Even had it linked to Facebook and account id number plus screen shots

I wish I could of played the game ti leave a review but I’ve tried for 3 days now since downloading this game to even get into a server to play it, there’s 2 servers atm that are green showing availability but when I go to join them it loads then says server full, so I’m wondering how often servers are updated or when you add new ones cause at this rate no one’s going to be able to play your game, it’s not possible.

I started playing this game as soon as it came out, and played daily for months until taking a break. Upon coming back, my account(linked to apple ID) was deleted, and I was forced to start from the tutorial again after collecting a huge number of units. Massively disappointing, as this game had been a fun experience of my favorite anime.

Been playing since day one, this game has had zero updates, zero characters, zero progress and now they took away most of the functionalities. PLEASE DO NOT download this game it has been a waste of time and a compelete cash grab.
