Like many other reviews- I downloaded untitled early August with enthusiasm and was pleasantly surprised by [this app]’s abilities. I became an instant fan, sending it to all my music friends, and it was probably my most used app for months.
When the paywall was added I was crushed- at first I didn’t mind being able to just keep the “storage” that was advertised to me, until I realized that because I had uploaded 200+ tracks I’d have to delete 175 or more to upload anything new. I wanted to be a supporter but why push out the demographic that was downloading and supporting your app in the first place? Few independent artists can afford another very expensive subscription every year.
It’s unfortunate but I hope untitled takes the suggestions of their most recent low reviews and makes a tier list as I suggested the same thing- it would make the experience more accessible to more than one financial bracket.
by Axzø
I love the features that untitled gives me, but I think I would be better if it’s a 1 time payment to buy untitled and not a subscription cause me as an artists and many other artists too will be with me when I says that we already pay a lot of subscriptions for other companies like slate digital, Antares, splice, tracklib, etc… and we don’t need to add on more to the list even tho is a good app there should be a way to pay an amount of money to get untitled for lifetime I would honestly pay like $150 or sum like that just to buy it instead of subscribing because it’s very usable but subscription plans are something that’s a lot of people don’t like.
by Pherokit
I’ve been using this app since it dropped on untitled store and it’s been amazing. No issues whatsoever. BUT! Implementing a membership at 8 BUCKS A MONTH turns me off to untitled greatly. Limiting number of tracks you can have behind a paywall immediately ruins the point of an app for storing a bunch of tracks.
This review has nothing to do with the quality of untitled , it is a way to communicate to the devs that this membership is unrealistic. I would pay a couple bucks one time as a purchase, but it doesn’t make any sense to charge that much for key features.
I hope you take this into consideration.

untitled started some thing built perfectly for your unreleased music, but now that they’ve started her subscription plan they are pulling the most corniest to try to trick you into buying their plan. Once they started the payment subscriptions, I had 125 tracks on untitled , they claim since I was an early user I got an extra three tracks without paying for a subscription so I would then be able to upload 128 tracks and theoretically if I were to delete a track I would then have 124 so I could just keep uploading till I hit that 128 mark. But what they do is every time you exit untitled they sneakily take away uploads so now, instead of having 128 free uploads I only have one 116 because they keep taking them away, trying to trick me into running out of space so I can buy their plan. I wouldn’t have had a problem paying for untitled , but trying to do sneaky things like this is the reason I’m not going to, I just move my unreleased music back over to SoundCloud.

What started as an exceptional music related app turned into a nightmare.
I never pay for subscriptions, so that wasn't really my concern, I get it, it is what it is. But telling me that I'm an early user and that I can keep my 200 uploaded tracks and then when I delete some of them to clear space for something more important telling me that I have less space? It’s ridiculous. I’ll still use untitled because it works flawlessly but this fact just pisses me off.

[this app] is easily the best apps of its kind that i’ve tried. love the interface and very easy to upload files to and from untitled . only problems i’ve been having are sometimes untitled will just randomly skip to the next song while i’m playing, and sometimes when playing an uploaded mp3 file it kind of “splices?” it. almost like you hit the fast forward button for a few seconds and then continues playing, completely screws up the whole song. would be cool if we could get a shuffle feature as well we listening to projects.
by Mr.flash12
Firstly, I love untitled. So much so in fact that I’ve recommended untitled since I first found it, I can’t stop talking about how much of a tool this is, even going so far as to reach out to the develops to help with issues that I found to help improve the experience. I say all that to say I am a true fan!
That being said, subscription fatigue is real, and honestly tired of every useful experience I find get retooled for a subscription model it’s out of hand.
While I understand development/server cost please just allow us the option to BUY untitled !
by Spliffinjennings
I love untitled. But sometimes its BEST feature - the ability to play audio files seamlessly one after the other - doesn’t work. Please fix this bug!! Sometimes songs will just skip entirely, this needs to be fixed
by PoBoyGeekBurger
I’ve been an advocate for untitled since I’ve got it back in August of 2023. It’s made storing and managing my music so much easier than using the default apple folder system. When I seen they added a premium barrier behind music storage, it truly broke my heart. My friends and I loved untitled because it was completely free not only to use but to share and consume not only our own media but others as well. Don’t get me wrong, I understand the reason behind the paywall. I just wished it was implemented better and locked other features instead of the main reason for getting untitled in the first place. I believe that if they put the features like recording audio, password protected folders, allowing folder content to be downloadable by others, and their editing service, it would be much better for the average user. Additionally the developers could add more options like theme settings and time limited links (links that stop working after a set time period) which will give users a better reason for purchasing premium. Please remove the track limit for free users.
by Domkennedyfan
Amazing app. Would receive 5 stars if not for one specific bug. When playing songs in a “album” one after another it completely skips a song. The title will say the song that’s supposed to be playing but it’ll be the next song that’s up in the que playing instead. or sometimes it just randomly stops playing music for no reason at all. PLEASE FIX. Other than that I love untitled.
by Vakid215
Really awesome app guys. Easy to organize & listen too without having to stream. Also great for sharing this should be EVERY musician/artist/producer go to app for organizing & creating & sharing they’re work. If i could make a suggestion there should be a comment section where you and other people you share with can comment on the tracks you uploaded. If or when you guys integrate THAT ! untitled is the best app hands down for artist ! #1 and will be everyones go too !
by Juni Cruz
I've used untitled for months and have basically integrated it into my workflow. I use untitled to listen to my demos wherever i go and to write lyrics to instrumentals of mine. The stem separator is very useful for removing vocals when it comes to this purpose. Having a record button that dubs over the pre-existing audio would be amazing. It would let me record new scratch tracks on the fly when I'm away from my recording set up!! I could even export the stems to my DAW to do more stuff with it. Would be very awesome to see :)

untitled is amazing. Very smooth UI, and simple to use. I’ve shared it with friends who are artists as well and they feel the exact same way.
The only thing that would make untitled perfect is allowing multiple people to edit a project. This would truly bridge the gap of collaboration for us artists. Giving us the power to distinguish between “collaborators” and those we just want to listen to the project is something I feel will take untitled to the next level.
Other than that, I have absolutely ZERO issues.
by Ccccccccccubee
I've been using untitled for a long time and have absolutely no complaints. I especially love the UI, it's smooth and really nice to look at. the functionality is great too, i've had no issues with it and it makes uploading music a streamlined and easy process. I was sad to learn that a subscription element would be implemented and unlimited uploads would be paywalled behind it, but i do understand that the developers somehow need to make money off of this and considering the quality of the product, it definitely makes sense.
by Evershedjack
As a music producer finding an easy way to upload and share demos is actually surprisingly difficult. Dropbox and WeTransfer don’t have UI built for it. Soundcloud’s ugly and expensive.
That is until [this app] came alone!
Love the simplicity of the interface and ease of uploading. Love how you can listen offline. I love how you can upload different versions of a demo to an already existing place as you make new and improved versions.
And I LOVE when you share a project to someone they have to unwrap it… I mean cmon. That’s awesome.
Few things though. For one, you should be able to duplicate Projects. I don’t want to have to make an entirely different Project and add all the demos I already uploaded to the previous project just because an A&R isn’t supposed to be hearing song B if that makes sense.
The solution is simple just make sure you can duplicate projects not just individual demos.
Also! There should be a centralized “Library” of all uploaded music. Just in general. So you can organize from a bank of all your music rather than having to flip around a series of projects.
the good news is these are very very easy fixes. untitled has a future!!! I know it. All they have to do is listen to the creators who are using it :)
by JaydinDonte
I wanted to say I love untitled so much. Only thing is sometimes when playing through a series of tracks the music will just stop and I’ll have to refresh untitled . This also happens when I put one song on loop. After the 2nd or 3 loop the music will cease and I’ll have to refresh untitled . If we could fix that, this would be a perfect app!
by Bonsconchas
the best place to store your music. No ads no nothing. No in-app purchases either. Endless storage (from what I’ve experienced so far) and it’s super easy to send the links to other people. The way you store songs makes you flesh out the idea for your project better (imo) THANK YOU TO WHOEVER MADE untitled. BLESS YOU. ONLY THING I ASK IS FOR A SHUTTLE OPTION. I’m making a project and it would be so nice to shuffle and mess with track placement. THANK YOU REGARDLESS <3 MUCH LOVE
by Brennanpp
I would like some minor features, for example: being able to add multiple artist on a song, like say it’s an Album and there is a featured artist. You can type in “feat.” But it doesn’t pop up on the bottom where the main artist is. Also, longer artist names, you can only put like 16 characters or something. Also, explicit tags, being able to add explicit tags within untitled instead of copying and pasting off of google would be cool.
by Antvgnst
Ayo! I’m a fan of untitled, imo it’s a pretty nice app for the average underground music fan/artist, but I have 3 issues with it:
1) every (2 or 3 weeks) untitled automatically logs me out for no reason. (Please fix that 😞😭)
2) (this is a personal one) I’m from the Dominican Republic and for no reason I can’t use my phone number to log in. Right now, I’m using another person’s number. (Please try to use an email registration system or something similar)
3) it would be great if we can have a way to modify our downloaded albums. Cause sometimes, we don’t like a certain song / memo of the album and we prefer to delete the song, instead of just skipping it.
After these 3 issues, I don’t have any problems at all. I like how untitled is going & I hope it can get better :)
by The Encyclopedia355466
Loving untitled . Been using it for a couple months and it makes tracking my progress on multiple EPs a breeze. Only bug I’ve encountered is that once created I cannot delete folders. Please fix this🤝🏾
by Pikachewie.exe
untitled is amazing for listening to unreleased music, the ui is outstanding and one of the best i’ve seen on a music app. one vital thing it lacks is gapless playback which is very inconvenient for compiling an album with seamless transitions.
by Dablob1000
Really no gripes at all so far, love the UI. Would be neat if there was a feature to add lyrics in the future, I think that would really make untitled perfect.
by Justcobain
[this app] is effective as is. Thank you for creating it, having no barrier to enter & the aesthetic.
Some questions
1. How does offline mode work - meaning, do the files have to actually be in my notes, etc. when importing to [this app] or can I upload straight from internet ?
Some beats play when not on data/wifi , others don’t.
2. Will Key detection for files/uploads be added?
by Fathernegroid
Playback is good until you want to click a specific time stamp of a song, and instead brings you to the beginning of the song, the same thing happens when pausing and unpausing a song, it skips to the beginning . Had another error on the desktop site with uploading larger files (30+mins long) and crashing mid-upload.
by 07Scrap
Overall good app everything is nice clean and simple, on problem is when I delete a track it doesn’t delete from the desktop browser which makes it keep coming back.
by Merry Christmaś
Honestly just add shuffle play, an equalizer(kind of like Spotify’s EQ) and possibly the ability to control the speed and pitch of the songs. (Mainly the 1st two) These features would make untitled a 5 star for me. Other than that, great app.
by DMa1o
Thank you to the [this app] team for their continuous effort to enter features that help making seamless user interface for the benefit of artists, producers, and engineers. untitled has been very useful and beneficial and I hope the trajectory of your success reflects such. Check out untitled if you ever want the ability to share any unreleased/private tracks, songs, or beats with a select group of people or individuals.
by AKBez
Easily the most indispensable app for listening to and sharing unreleased music and audio content
by Anthonyiscool12345
Please lower the cost of subscription and add more features. I love untitled though it’s very sleek and not buggy. Good features already but could have more. There’s so much opportunity for untitled to change the game even more. I’m taking more collaborative features for users. I’m not sure exactly what but please keep doing your thing I hope to see this become a major platform amongst indie artists open day.
by CaptianMoseby
as an artist and underground junkie, i needed my unreleased pieces in one place. untitled puts everything together with flying colors. it's as easy as uploading from files to a project or you can RECORD IDEAS...i dead didn't even know you could do that when I saw the ad for it. there's nothing else to say but untitled is perfection for the people who benefit from organization! not to mention, the UI is buttery smooth. seven stars!
by Yoko Chanel
literally the most intuitive, straight to the point system ever. I’ve told all my artist friends, producers, engineers, songwriters, u name to download untitled. Also previewing music is so much more aesthetically pleasing then screen recording a blank file or your notes. like they really didn’t have to snap w untitled, but they did!! … my only suggestion is that I wish I could make a collab folder private, but that’s a mild complaint if you ask me
by Salo5211
As a musician that is always on the go untitled has become an invaluable tool when composing, documenting, collaborating, and sharing new music!!! So dope
by SabirBeats
Don’t usually write reviews, but this is the definitive way for artists to manage their music on a phone. Great app! Would love to see added functionality for adding verses or pictures into our projects, like with a Google Doc / Pinterest plugin.
by TravietheSinger.
I’ve searched untitled Store high and low for apps that can organize and storage my music. Not only does untitled do that, but you can also edit, pull stems, and trim audio to where you feel the song fits more comfortably. But wait! There’s more! Want the option to share what you have to folks for a “pre listen” type of deal? You can. And with style too. untitled also allows you to keep track of how many times a particular song was played!
Want to be able to share a snippet of your work to social media? No problem.
Not only can you share a little preview of your work, you get options. MANY OPTIONS.
The only app I’ve ever used where I don’t care to spend a monthly subscription for it.
by Miguel 606
Love untitled! I’m a working audio engineer and untitled has made sharing demos/mixes/master with my clients 100x easier and better. Being able to listen to different versions seamlessly (as they’d be played on streaming more or less) and easily update with new versions is huge.
Only thing that’s missing for me is the ability for people I share projects with to take notes in untitled . It seems only the author/owner of the projects can write and edit notes. Maybe if there was a selectable “Allow note editing with shared users” button?
Regardless, I am happily paying for premium at the moment.
by Tre RooH
Loving untitled guys! Just have one request. If I send a collaboration link to someone we should be able to both edit & add notes to the project &/or song. As of right now, it only lets who uploaded it contribute to the notes! Very small update but life changing! Other than that I recommend untitled for anyone who was use to sending songs back & forth.
by Wheresfabio
i’ve had untitled for over 6 months now and seeing all the small but impactful changes be implemented over time have really improved the quality of life on there. from the search feature to being able to shuffle and repeat tracks, this app always has improvements coming which is why i use it more than any other music streaming platform now. one small feature that would i and i know others would be ecstatic to see is a queue for tracks. shuffling and being able to rearrange tracks would provide an even greater experience! i wanted to give my thanks to the this app team, please keep the improvements coming!
by Good Sauce
Honestly untitled is really great and the UI is so clean the only criticism I could come up with is when listening to a song with a long title on mobile it’s impossible to see the entire name. Asking for an update that moves the song title like a ticker to allow us to read the entire thing or something like if you tapped on it, it would expand to show the entire name. Thank you!
by Acornfairy
untitled is amazing!! I love that I can import MP3 files FINALLY straight to my phone and play them back smoothly without having to mess around with my computer or iTunes or the files app etc, and I can organize and save them directly on my phone! I also love being able to organize them into albums and quickly share a link with friends
by Lasers76Vik
Been looking for an app like this for years. So easy and intuitive to use, makes it way more fun and easy to share music than using gmail or iMessage.
I only wish I could change the artist name for certain projects as I have certain demos on here with several artists and would be nice to have it in the artist name vs song name

Truly revolutionary technology only comes around every once in a while.

I highly recommend untitled, it comes with all the essentials + features I need. I came from an instagram ad and I honestly really enjoy untitled! I can store all my unreleased in here without using Drive or Dropbox to do so. Another thing that i love about untitled is that it’s user-friendly so I don’t have trouble navigating through anything. 10/10, would recommend.
by Zegry
This is the best app out for music releases – I honestly won't use anything else to release music again. You get to add notes on each track, get insight on # of plays per track or by listener, easily add new tracks on the fly, etc. But, the best feature to me is being able to hot swap different versions of tracks while the project is live – it also timestamps when that track was added so you can see/choose a specific version.
by Lowkeyjd
As a rapper untitled is professional grade storage and organization of the mixing/evolution process of creating music. Easy to store multiple songs/versions of multiple projects. I’m constantly working on 5-10 projects at once over long periods of time and it keeps everything on my radar in one easy to use interface. This is one of my most opened apps on my screen time report. Right next to the notes app and the beatstars app.
by TheLoxSmith
First off, I’m a huge voice memos fan. I record all of my new ideas instantly with untitled , but [this app] is such a better way to quickly start an idea and organize it in a project instantly. The sound quality is great too.
On top of that has made it way easier to share my stems and unreleased songs / ideas to friends to get their thoughts.
It’s pretty crazy that an app that makes sharing music and recording ideas in an organized way hadn’t been created before, but this is it.
by DopeDime
I have been looking for something just like this, so untitled being created has so much of a difference and it’s amazing!
by Camilleqp396
You should make an app for iWatch that you can record any music in the moment if you don’t have your iPhone around you.
by Jordan Cargill
Finally untitled independent artists are looking for!! It’s great that you can organize and share all your tracks individually; npc me thought of a couple ideas that might be cool;
1 maybe if artists were able to share folders?
2 sort by date made/rearrange order
3 view as list as an alternative way of showing projects
Nonetheless untitled is great!
by DF+BH
Very intuitive, practical, and beautiful design. Perfect place to store and work on my projects!
by Glarfenshmart
Works as advertised
by RGo333
Its never been so easy sharing music with my friends and peers!
by RATM101
untitled has been a game changer in my creative process. Super easy to use and inspiring🔥🤘🏻
by Doge69421
Love untitled like it’s genuinely the best music app I’ve ever found BUT one thing I think would be cool is to have widgets yk. Like one that shows the recent projects you’ve played and one you could put on the Lock Screen that has the pic spinning like it does in untitled . Idek if that’s possible but seems like a cool idea😁
by SouloDolo
I've been really enjoying the this app app for keeping my unreleased projects organized. One of the standout features is the ability to share projects for review without having to send MP3 or WAV files directly.
As a producer who sells beats to artists, untitled is a game changer. It allows artists to easily listen to my tracks, get familiar with the beats, write to them, and then decide which ones they want to purchase.
Additional features like audio file replacement, tempo adjustments, notes, and stems add even more versatility, making untitled a much more comprehensive tool compared to others in its category.
by Specflow
I’ve been waiting or an app like this for years. Not only does it work well, it looks dope too.
by Taupehue
really pleased using untitled, the feature development is great, and super smooth throughout, no complaints whatsoever , excited to see what new things come
by Ariela_kaa
untitled is exactly what I needed without even knowing it.

Exactly what I needed

Isaiah Houston leaving his mark cause it’s a W app

Never have I ever wrote a review on an app. But, untitled is well, well deserving of a 5 star review. For a relatively cheap monthly subscription, untitled has every regular music editing feature. And, the best part is, it's not even a music editor. I would consider this to be a music player. Though, I have never seen a music player this versatile. I am writing this review for two reasons. 1. Because I truly love untitled and use it for a good percentage of my music platform listening as well as most of my phone based musical needs. And 2. Because I wanted to write/ offer only one suggestion: If untitled had a built in custom EQ (equalizer), I personally think this would be hands down the best music related app I have ever had in my entire life.
I also don't know if this is the best place to add that suggestion/ request. But, if it is not, please let me know of some other medium I am able to request that on. I wholeheartedly love untitled, and if an EQ was implemented, it would probably be one of my favorite apps.
Thanks!

Myself as a producer finds untitled incredibly useful. Not only can I organize unreleased/scrapped tracks I created, but I can also organize files from my friends or favorite artists! untitled is straightforward and easy to use, and the features are incredible. You can always change titles, covers, folders, and notes, and sharing these files are really easy too! Amazing app : )
by Phill Malone
This music app has helped me tremendously in my music career. I am an artist who deeply cares about piecing together my music seamlessly and untitled makes doing that a fun enjoyable process. I have had untitled for a while and before there was a monthly charge I always told my friends I wouldn’t mind paying for untitled that’s how good it is. Thank you to the untitld team.
by Nalpin
Recording, editing, and sharing audio has never felt this fluid. They nailed it. Love using this to import demos that need to be organized and easily shared with others, as well as quickly capturing an idea and it landing directly into a designated project, instead of getting lost in the sea of Voice Memos.
Thank you for making this tool. I will use it every day.
by A Annoyed Buyer
I’m a big fan of listening to unreleased music, and untitled is easily the most streamlined medium out. Easy to upload music, create “projects,” and presents them like any traditional streaming service.
by Veryunimportantperson22
this is my new fav app. i make too much music to not have a sexy elegant home for it on my phone. makes me even more excited to listen to the music I make.
by Parkermul
Now that I've integrated this app into my workflow, I can't imagine not using it. Being able to sort all my demos and ideas in such a beautiful way has really helped me stay organized and even stay inspired, honestly. Looking at my unreleased music on such an aesthetically pleasing app kind of legitimizes it to myself!
