Prompted for donation or upgrade to premium. Ok with paying developers, but premium implies it will inventory only up to 99 open/new bottles. I have well over that so it’ll be a huge time waste to log bottles and show inventory entire collection.

Also, when showing a “group” of the same distilled spirit please show something (retailer, notes) in the columns to help distinguish one from another.

In a sea of apps for tracking your collection or your bar inventory, this is one of the better ones

Whiskey Shelf does a great job managing my growing bourbon collection. The interface makes it easy to keep track of what I own, and I’ve found it to be the best option so far compared to other apps I’ve tried. It’s not perfect—there are several features I’d still like to see added—but the core functionality is strong.
One of the standout positives is the tech support. They’ve been very quick to add new bottles when I’ve requested them, which makes the experience feel tailored and responsive. Overall, while there’s room for improvement, Whiskey Shelf remains my go-to tool for organizing and managing my collection.

Excellent app with easy to scan features to add bottles. Easily track your library and simple push of a button to share. Highly recommend it for all whiskey collectors.

This is a great app to keep your whiskey organized. Easy to use. The report writing capability in the premium subscription is invaluable and keeping track of all the details of your whiskey collection.

Very effective for what I was looking for. Excited to see what new features will be added. The email report is nice and worth the small price for a membership. Would definitely recommend.

I use WhiskeyShelf to track my collection - the interface is easy, it is fun to track the bottles I have. The bottles it doesn’t recognize are quickly reconciled and added to my collection. Highly recommend WhiskeyShelf !

What amazes me most about WhiskeyShelf is how responsive the developers are. Whenever I ask something in the support section, I get an email response very quickly. Great app and the subscription is totally worth it.

WhiskeyShelf is incredible! I’ve really gotten into collecting fine whiskies and bourbons, and WhiskeyShelf allows great management of a collection, fun new info, and great support! Nothing but compliments and it keeps getting better and better!

I love WhiskeyShelf for tracking my bourbon, what I paid, etc.. I use it to track my inventory (home and our place up north). It’s outstanding for everything I need. I’ve had a recent need to contact support about a glitch with an update and I really didn’t think I’d get a response. I was way wrong, they not only let me know they were on top of it, but followed up afterwards to make sure everything was working right. I’d HIGHLY recommend Whiskey Shelf. I’ve got over 160 active bottles and it keeps me organized. Thanks Whiskey Shelf!!!

This is the best app I’ve found so far to track my collection. I have a lot of tequila and rum and it tracks that also. Other apps would not approve my unique bottles but these people get back to me in hours and take suggestions I have for WhiskeyShelf .

I’ve typically got anywhere from 60-70 bottles at a time and I’ve relied on WhiskeyShelf to help keep track of my inventory.

So many times Ive been looking at a bottle I might purchase trying to remember if I already have it and now in a few clicks I can see exactly what I’ve got.

Also useful for rating finished bottles to remember if it’s worth buying again. Let’s be honest, when you’ve had hundreds of different expressions you can’t possibly remember them all.

I’ve tried a couple of similar apps but this one is the most efficient.

Great app to keep inventory updated. Just scan the barcode on the bottle and it’s added. Also, there are plenty of fields for notes, purchase price, rating, and bottle location. Can also manually update open bottles with % remaining. Very helpful if your collection is 10+ bottles.

A close friend recently passed away. He had a modest bourbon collection. WhiskeyShelf was recommended to us by a friend as a method to inventory the collection for his wife. The entry process is easy and made inputting over 600 bottles into the database really easy. I can’t recommend WhiskeyShelf more than 5 as it’s the best app ever for documentation and tracking of you precious bourbon collection.

Hello, this is Alex-I have been using this Bourbon inventory tool for several years. This is an incredible tool. It allows you to categorize and rate your Bourbon so that you have a great chronological record of open new bottles with their ratings and your side comments after you have tasted it so others can follow. I highly recommend using this tool.

This is the best customer service I have encountered on ANY app. If you find a barcode that is not linked to a bottle and notify customer service, it is entered into WhiskeyShelf quickly. The only negative thing I can say is that I wish they had higher tier levels for their pro membership. But that is entirely tolerable in exchange for incredible customer service.

WhiskeyShelf continues to come out with more updates making this the best collectors app. The report option with the subscription is really cool with all the different features. Valuation of the collection, diversity, average proof etc. $80/ yr with up to 499 bottles is a decent price. If you consider collectors who spend at least that on one bottle it’s worth it to have the organization of WhiskeyShelf and shareable spreadsheet. Very happy with WhiskeyShelf and excited for new updates with photo option.

Continual updates have improved the UI and my experience. Premium option looks promising, but the free version is powerful!
