Great App. Great Support. Great Content.

Updated review: just to say I love what these folks have done even more, as I progress through month 9 of using DynamicCyclist. Appreciate the responsive customer service too.

Original review: After about 20 years of cycling and the same repetitive motions I was having neck and shoulder pains and my core needed help and my leg muscles were stiff, etc. I gave DynamicCyclist a try and was instantly impressed. I needed more time to figure it into my routines so I contacted support. They were great and worked with me. After a month my body had changed, I could feel the strength gains in my legs and hips and this is an app I actually use and benefit from daily. My yoga son is loving the stretch exercises too and every time I stretch he comes down and joins in. I’ve also recommended DynamicCyclist to my brother as well. He was struggling to get to the gym. Hope it works well for him too.

In a class by itself

This is by far the best app I’ve ever used for this purpose. The content is superior to any other and has been extraordinarily effective at improving my cycling performance through better mobility and injury prevention. If you are finally serious about overcoming some deficiency or imbalance then try this out. I’d pay quadruple the amount for the improvement I’ve seen in a short time.

Just starting

I’m just finished the ramp up week and so far it is great. The instructions are clear and the exercises targeted and short enough that it is easy to fit into my day. I did some of the knee specific exercises as well and found them useful. Great way to introduce someone who doesn’t have a routine to stretching, strengthening and injury prevention.

So so so helpful.

I’ve done the hip rehab program several times and notice significantly less pain when I’m in the program. Then, a few weeks out the pain comes back. I do the program again and it goes away. I might be doing this program for the rest of my life.
Next I’m trying the pelvic tilt program!

Stretching

I started this program to help relieve some very tight muscles and joints. So far I am very pleased. The instructions are clear, they offer options, if you want to make something easier or more difficult, and the on screen count down is helpful. I am admittedly not a yoga or stretching person, but DynamicCyclist is helping me get relief without it being a chore.

Great app for cyclist

If you ever feel that you have reach a threshold in your training and progress became difficult, it is perhaps because your body as is getting stronger it is getting stiffer at the same time.
Dynamic Cyclist is DynamicCyclist that has all the routines you need to become a better cyclist holistically. Being flexible is as important or more than being just strong.

Dynamic cyclist

I subscribed after suffering a groin muscle injury that continued to pester me for some time. After a month of stretching and following the program, it finally disappeared, and I have continued with the program. I feel better, stronger and continue to ride without any pain. After a certain age stretching and strengthening exercises are very important, and this program covers it very nicely.

GAME CHANGER

I injured myself and found the Dynamic Cyclist app. It had everything: stretching and mobility, strengthening, injury, prevention, foam, rolling, training programs so I decided to give it a try.

I absolutely love it. I started as a beginner, and now I am advanced. It blew me away how quickly it happened, but most importantly…I noticed the difference on my bike!! Thank you I will be a lifelong member!! I tell everyone I know about it.

This App Has Changed My Life

Finding a daily routine to follow for mobility, strength, injury prevention was difficult without spending more time than I wanted online. Consistency (and my old body) suffered as a result. I’ve been following Dynamic Cyclist’s routines for 9 months now, always finding a different daily routine to keep me limber, make me a stronger, pain free rider. I am thrilled to have DynamicCyclist by my side every single day.

Love this App

DynamicCyclist is a game-changer for cyclists of all levels. The daily stretching and mobility routines are a fantastic way to enhance flexibility and prevent injuries. The variety of strength programs tailored for cyclists is impressive, allowing for targeted muscle development. What sets DynamicCyclist apart are the specific injury programs, which provide crucial support for common problem areas like Knee, Hip, and Low Back Pain. With well-structured training plans, from beginners to Gran Fondo riders, Dynamic Cyclist truly empowers cyclists to reach their peak performance.

Initial thoughts

I’ve only had DynamicCyclist for about 3 weeks and initially signed on for the stretching and strength programming coming back to cycling (gravel) after leaving it for many years of running. Returning to cycling has helped strengthen my arthritic knees but I found areas where I was lacking and I’ve researched many other apps that are cycling-specific and found this one to have the most bang for the buck.

I’ve had a lot of questions and the response to them is quick and thorough. I’ve yet to get into a training program but there are a handful to choose from and I’m excited to start the one on hill climbing soon.

There is a lot of content to learn from, injury prevention, challenges as well. The stretching and strengthening build as you go and I am already noting a stronger core when on my bike. The stretching is set to great music and you can play your own music in the background for strengthening which I love.

Once I get into the training programs a bit I’ll update my review but the fact that they don’t require any additional equipment (they use rate of perceived exertion) and you get free Training Peaks access is enough for me to want to get into one soon.

Overall, I would give DynamicCyclist all the stars. They’ve done a great job giving you a lot of useful content for the money.

Fantastic Resource

This is a fantastic app. It doesn’t take long for the body to feel better. I originally got it because my sciatica was on fire from mountain biking. But I’m not just using it for that, I’m also using it as a tool to force me to take work breaks from sitting in a chair. My glutes, hip flexors, and hamstrings are suffering from all the sitting. They are starting to love me again. I also feel quite energized after a stretch session. Now I need to start working on strengthening my gluteus medius.

What every Cyclist needs!

I absolutely love riding my bike and being a very simple man that would be the only activity I would ever do. Unfortunately because of that I became imbalanced and developed a partially torn lateral and medial meniscus from the repetitive motion of pedaling. Dynamic Cycling had the perfect elixir for me! A detailed stretching program developed for cyclists that you instructs you to do various stretches that work the opposing muscles! So simple yet so powerful! Because of these exercises I’m back to riding my wheels off my bike as they say!

Simple and effective

After the 7 day on-ramp I was hooked! The sessions are short ~15-20 mins. After a few I didn’t want them to stop and found myself wanting longer lessons but I get it, committing to 15 mins a day is easy and something anyone can do. Any longer than that and it may become a hassle and harder to follow the through with. I’ve been using this for 3 months now and I’m super glad I started. I wasn’t in ‘pain’ riding but I was relatively inflexible. I’m much more flexible now and look forward to what each session brings. Today was ‘spine reset’ day! Loved it!

Good Decision

I kept thinking about using the programs on Dynamic Cyclists but held off for whatever reason. I am 67 and have been using the strength and conditioning programs and the injury prevention programs (lower back) 4-5 times a week since February and I have noticed a big improvement in my strength. I can put out more watts seated that ever before. I like the way each exercise is explained and timed. Before you know it 30 minutes is over. I also find the five and ten minute pre ride videos helpful. I hope to incorporate the daily stretching videos more. There is a lot offered.

I've searched and used many online fitness apps and websites for cycling fitness. I really like this one. I've been doing it for 3 weeks and I miss it when I can't or dont use it.

The programs are great and despite what seems like kind of minimal effort, I've felt improvement on the bike from doing the Strength the Stretching and Mobility together. I'll do one Strength only day, then a Strength Stretch/mobility and its great.

Highly recommend DynamicCyclist. Its worth it during the season. Off season should be intersting and may help in no having to be on Zwift 5 days a week.

Just what I needed!

I had a partial hamstring tear about a year and a half ago from biking. I just biked and didn’t do overall workouts. I had extensive physical therapy for almost 5 months. It was excellent and got me back on the bike and taught me that I needed to strengthen other parts of my body to take the load off the big muscles for biking. . But I was super concerned about keeping up the stretching and strength training needed to protect my hamstrings . This program is exactly that! It has kept me strong and stretched in an overall way which is keeping my whole body strong so I don’t have an overuse injury again. I am very thankful for Dynamic Cyclist!

I love it

I’ve been using this for about a month and love it. I lost balance and agility during two years of reduced activity during long covid. This is helping my return to endurance cycling . Well designed and a consistency in the build up over time . Style of program is nice - not loud and bounce , just a consistent quiet background music that allows you to clearly hear the description of how to perform each exercise. I use daily routine each morning and evening, and add the hip program and ankle strengthening to it. It is a key part of my return to 200+ mile weeks on my bike. At 74 years , it’s critical to balance agility, strength, and balance in my program.

Saved My Training

I love DynamicCyclist! There are a ton of very focused programs. I’ve been doing the stretching/mobility & knee injury prevention for 5 weeks and it has saved my training. My knee issues had reached the point I thought I would have to stop training all together. They now feel better than they have in YEARS after just 5 weeks. This isn’t a big pump up app like Apple+ Fitness (which I find annoying after a while), it’s very focused very efficient and very effective. Alicia runs the programs I’ve been using and her cues are excellent. I look forward to the 2x15 minute sessions every day! Also, I use my iPad and home WiFi and have never had a single issue with DynamicCyclist .

I really enjoy this app

I’ve been using dynamic cyclist for over six months now. And I’ve been using it consistently. There are so many different stretching, exercise exercises, strengthening exercises and other depths that I find it very very useful and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their strength and cycling ability.
