I bought this hoping I could log in to my account on my android tablet through the browser in order to select the colors better with the bigger screen as it is more accessible to my needs, Paid almost $14 and all I got was disappointment.

It freezes. After “successful conversion” of a photo of tree to vector image, resulting in two somewhat similar images one just darker, I tried the eraser but nothing got erased. I tried the pen tool, but it did not make any lines). Basically I was not able to edit anything. (iPad Pro, 5th generation, iPadOS 17.2, 2nd gen Apple Pencil).

Seems scammy

I bought it for 13 and dint even do what I needed it to do waste of money definitely don’t recommend I’ll like refund !

It doesn’t work SvgTraceClassic itself it’s st***d I tried to erase some extra colors and it doesn’t works the svg file came out bad not even clear.

Can’t edit layers because it crashes after a minute and I have to start over. Waste of money.

SVG design is not crisp. I‘ve tried multiple files and the all come out horrible. Also when trying to export, the SVG file does not save to the device. Don’t waste your $6.99 on SvgTraceClassic!!

I was expecting much more out of SvgTraceClassic. I am a graphic designer who prefers to draw my work in procreate then vectorize it. I’ve been using Inkscape for the vectorization process which works perfectly. I found SvgTraceClassic and decided to try it in hopes of not having to transfer my work back and forth between my iPad and computer to vectorize it. The PNG files I start with are of very high quality to ensure the most detail once vectorized, however SvgTraceClassic imports them at an extremely low quality which results in a poor vectorized version. This was a complete waste of money for me. The website version for some reason does better with smaller details. I don’t get it. Looks like I’ll be going back to Inkscape. Wish I could get my money back.

SvgTraceClassic seems to only be good for solid colors. Anything with texture in it or watercolor type images will result in a huge mess. The outlines are not clean and looks scribbled and weird. Wish I could have tried it first before purchasing. I would not trust all of the great reviews.

Evry time you select an image with too many colors it freezes

Sadly SvgTraceClassic version doesn’t work like the website, unable to save an image as svg and upload to design space, it saves as a regular image no layers.

I’m old, but new to this whole vector thing. I wanted to be able to make SVG’s without having to buy them all the time. I’m not a business so I don’t need CANVA or Illustrator. This was the best money spent!! I have been able to convert my images from procreate to SvgTraceClassic, then put it on my cricut! voilà!!! I am able to make anything I want. If it’s not working for you. It’s you! Not SvgTraceClassic .

If you are a crafter who works with SVG files of any sort, SVG Trace is an absolute GEMMMMM. I use this program all the time and wish I discovered it sooner. Extremely user friendly and effective when trying to convert into a SVG file.

I think the reviews underneath are user error. I was able to upload this as an SVG into Design Space. All my layers worked fine.

SvgTraceClassic is a great tool to use! I’ve been using it for a couple of months with no issues- files always load perfectly into DS for me- and I really have very minimal cleanup before saving the file. Very user friendly!

Quite accurate and better than the free online tools. Better yet, you only pay for it once! Swipe reference pictures online and quickly convert it into vector. Saves a lot of time when compared to tracing - Phooweeh!
