I would write this zero stars if I could I found this And decided to sign up with it I figured it would be a great way to budget everything out and plan for the future but it won’t there’s a five dollar membership charge before you even get anything done. I was charged membership charge and then denied an account with them there was no reasoning behind it, there is nowhere to dispute the charge besides my bank itself. I can’t cancel the charge anything so they essentially just took five dollars for me and then that’s it there’s I’ve looked for ways to reach out to contact support. If maybe they can fix it even their own website though has nothing for it.

this app is, without a doubt, an absolute scam. You are charged an upfront fee for the most worthless barebones fin-tech app on the market. Envelope offers legitimately no value, customer service is essentially non-existent and most of the positive reviews seem to be internally concocted by this app staff. Do you want to throw away $5 for an app that does absolutely nothing, offers no value and cannot keep your funds safe? Well, sounds like this app is for you. If you value your money and do not enjoy doing business with shady businesses I recommend staying away from this app.

I got into the original this app Money Alpha launch and it’s been such a relief to have Envelope. I check it multiple times a day and it’s just nice to feel on top of my spending.

Since Simple closed, My finances have been in a Chase checking account black hole. The other budgeting neobanks have terrible joint account support so Chase was the only option. Glad to finally have a great joint account experience back.

Thank you for developing a product that helps my wife and I be a successful team with our finances.

The automation helps us budget appropriately without a lot of effort and the new chart visuals help us adjust our budget as needed.

We tried One and Ally prior to joining but each had their weaknesses.

One didn’t support joint accounts and made it difficult for us to track spending together.

Ally had joint accounts but setting up an automated budget was not straightforward and required a lot more manual time and effort to manage.

Now we’re happy to have these issues resolved and look forward to this app’s growth.

I’ve tried tons of other budgeting apps and bank accounts in the past, and I found them all way too cumbersome to use. in the end, I ended up not using them because they were such a pain. But this one eliminates all the hassle. thank you this app!

They build so everyone can do everything, but it makes it unmanageable. this app money is simple in design and allows you to easily manage your finances. I feel like someone finally got it right.

This application and the team behind it are amazing. Throughout initial development, the team was super communicative with future and current users. The application itself runs so smoothly (and bugs are attacked quickly), and the design is top tier. I was a former "Simple" banking fan, and I've been on the search for the best replacement since. This is definitely top of my list.

Just started using this app, but after using traditional banks, YNAB, and Zeta. My wife and I have tried a lot of things and have seen what overly complicated is. The this app app team has made is enjoyable to use, and that's saying something. It's so simple and sleek and has little fun animations in it. I don’t leave reviews but this app deserves a good 10 stars for being so seamless. After simple banks shut down I looked everywhere for a simple this app like banking that’s easy and automated. this app has hit almost every check mark for me for being effortless and easy. I’m finally back to the budgeting style that works best for me without having multiple budgeting apps that complicated it for me even further. I love that the discord page for this app is so interactive, the developers are always updating and communicating features and plans with users that make you feel like your a part of the team. Honestly the only hiccup for me is feeling like it could end like how simple banking was pulled out of nowhere. I’m really excited for the future of this banking and budgeting app that after months of testing out and putting a percentage of paycheck’s this week I’ve fully committed.

When Simple shut down, I had nowhere to go for a bank with powerful budgeting tools. One was ok, but never felt quite right and went down the drain the moment Walmart bought them out. Enter this app. Envelope is SLICK! It feels like the natural evolution of what Simple gave us all those years ago. Simple to use, even simpler to budget. The devs are very active and are adding great features all the time. It’s rare a fintech app gets better and better with time. If you’re looking to move from a traditional bank or your online bank isn’t quite cutting it, this app is the right call!

I'm a former user of Simple Bank - they were amazing, but closed down after a couple years. Then I moved to One Finance - they had features similar to Simple, but after another year or two, One Finance sold out to Walmart and TOTALLY changed. It was awful. Then out of no where, I found this beta project. I've now been with this app since the day they had a public release. I'm part of their discord, and the team is constantly updating, asking opinions, crowdsourcing features, etc. this app is going places, and I REALLY hope they don't sell out like One finance did. Keep up the great work!!

Within 4 days, since transferring my accounts from ONE to this app, I feel a hugeeee weight lifted off my shoulders, and this applies to all areas from budgeting, to bill automation, to simple things such as getting gas. I feel in complete control of my money. This is the financial zen that has been missing, I've been craving, and has been driving me mad, since Simple. I used to avoid/dread going into the ONE app, but now I am constantly looking for excuses to go to the this app app because I love it that much. The catch is everything is so well designed, there is little to do everyday. Ha! Your mission is working!!!I believe you have already matched Simple on the core experience and are continuing to surpass it everyday, as features expand.

The team at this app is incredibly responsive, and their customer service has been outstanding. The features built into the application function, almost identically to what used to be called simple bank. The only real differences that I can identify between this product and that institution are in the names of the different sorts of features, and the fact that some features are not available. For instance, paper checks and support for multiple paychecks (as far as automation, you can absolutely receive the funds even now) would be awesome, but both appear to be on the roadmap! The team is very transparent, and communicates publicly with its entire community through various methods, leaving no room for doubt or concern. I wholeheartedly endorse this platform!

Since the closure of Simple, a moment I'd describe as the most disheartening in my financial journey, my partner and I have been on a quest for the ideal financial management solution. We experimented with One, which was effective but didn’t quite meet my budgeting needs.

Then we discovered this app Money. It's been a revelation. Envelope is user-friendly and robust, making financial management a breeze. The customer support team has been exceptional, providing timely and helpful assistance.

They actively engage on social media, maintaining a close connection with their user base – who might as well be considered fans at this point! I find myself increasingly invested in this app's approach to managing finances. It's almost like experiencing the efficiency of this app budgeting all over again, reminiscent of what I cherished about Simple.

I’m incredibly pleased with this app! They’re incredibly transparent on what they’re working on and what they want to be added in the future. Envelope isn’t perfect yet but it’s getting better every update and I’m so excited for what is to come! Excellent app already and it does exactly what it says!
