Let me just start this review off with WOW!! This is best thing since sliced bread my friends! A friend told me to give Frontdoor a try and I’m glad I took the advice! I was having a plumbing issue with the toilet in my guest bathroom. The expert I spoke with named Eric, made the whole process so simple. I was able to figure out what was going on while on the video chat and he instructed me on what parts I need to perform the repair. I went to my local hardware store and purchased everything I needed. this app saved me $100’s on this repair.

Granny needs to call the pros to come. I have a few tools and willing to get a little dirty to save me the $200 trip. In 30min my pro, Maverick, was able to diagnosis my oven issue and tell me which parts I need which are on their way now. Install should be easy but if I need to I can call again so they step me through it. The savings with this app paid almost paid for the part. I’ll be using them again, but hopefully not soon. Great job this app

I am an employee of this app and tried out our product because our shower value was very loose and close to falling off. I wasn’t sure how to resolve it, so I did a video call with an expert. He was extremely knowledgeable, took some pictures and we determined that a Plummer would be able to fix it. After the video call, he sent me local recommended pros and they came out the next day and fixed my shower value!

Had a call with Jamie about my leaking refrigerator. He walked me through the steps of finding the source and diagnosing (pump hairline fracture). Helped me with finding the right part numbers to order also!

Really fast help, really professional and friendly. Highly recommend!

this app seems incredible, so I hate to leave a bad review here, however I tried and can find no other way to contact support about my specific problem. I’ve tried several times — unsuccessfully — to log in to my account. I couldn’t remember my password so I tried several times to reset it. Frontdoor sends me an email link to reset it, but when I click the link it immediately sends me to the FD page in Frontdoor Store. Then, when I click the “open” button, it just returns me to the FD app log in, however there’s no option to reset the password. Essentially, I’m locked out.

i thought its like the next door app that is free and for the community recommendations . but, you gotta signup first for premium account to use. if you’re looking for professional services your best bet is google search and look for their reviews or recommendations from your friends. dont pay for Frontdoor that google can do the same thing. the only difference is you can facetime the professional but knows how long is the facetime or if there’s additional fee for that.

Frontdoor sounded good from reviews. I appreciated that many disclosed they were written by employees.

Unfortunately to use it you have to give them permission to unilaterally record the video sessions and use them however they like. I’m section 11a of their terms of service you must explicitly waive your rights of privacy:

“ the Video Expert may see you via video and (ii) initiate recording the video of that chat session (" Video
Recording"). By using our Video Services, you consent to the Video Recording of any chat session that you have via Video Services and you give your permission to this app to use your likeness and voice in connection with such Video Recordings, and you release this app and anyone acting under its authorization from any claims that any use of the Video Recordings as authorized herein violates any of your rights, including any rights of publicity or privacy.”

I am a this app employee and tried out the new app to see if I could fix my microwave error. The virtual expert experience was so cool and Garrett was incredibly helpful. He meticulously walked me through what to do and made sure I was being safe the whole time. Love having this option in my pocket

Had an issue with the AC and after being on the phone for 20 minutes with a rep, the issue was resolved. The experience was excellent and I highly recommend using this for repairs around the house. This probably saved me about $300!

I am a this app employee and I used Frontdoor as I was having an issue with a faucet. The expert was able to save me money as he was able to assist with the repair. It was nice being able to see the expert as well with the video chat feature!

I had a burned out light in my microwave oven. The expert showed me how to replace it. Super easy and only took a few minutes. I probably would have had to pay a contractor $100 or more to come to my house!

Needed to switch out an exterior light for a Ring camera, the expert talked me through how to do it live and we were done in about 15 minutes.

Cool app to make it easy to talk to someone who knows what they are talking about. Easy to use and very helpful. If you occasionally need some assistance, Frontdoor is a good way to go.

As a new homeowner who is not the most handy, Frontdoor is a lifesaver! Super quick easy and knowledgeable associates, would recommend to anyone! Maverick was the man!

It is amazing to see technology being used like this!!! Very interesting concept!

Very helpful and friendly while on the phone with the experts. Issue comes in when you need to go purchase extra materials. Your first free session expires and you have to upgrade to prime to finish the work. Now my project isn't finished and I have to pay more money.

Kept seeing commercial so I thought I would try it. Created account and then it froze at turn on notifications. Cleared it twice and deleted and tried again. What a waste of time
Still stuck at turn on notifications. Bummer

Like a lot of other people I tried to create an account but clicking on the email link to verify just puts you in a loop back to the login screen. Was never able to create an account. Seemed like a good idea (if only it worked).

On videoooooo

Unable to create an account. After I put in my email address, select a password and then tap CREATE ACCOUNT to proceed nothing happens. It takes me to a blank page. I absolutely hate having my time wasted. Thank you.

Heard about this app on a podcast commercial. Soon after, I had a problem with my fridge and decided to try it out. The this app technician was able to walk me through disassembling, identifying the problem, and ordering a replacement part in the span of 30 minutes on a Sunday afternoon. Huge time and money saver.

My washing machine wasn’t draining and within 30 minutes of front doors help, I had it up and running! I’ve always used service people to do this for me but I didn’t knees to! So easy

I am this app employee and a new homeowner. it gets really tough to spend money for repairs or installations. I had an issue with my refrigerator freezer frosting, expert helped with some tips which fixed the issue. Time and money saved

I was trying to replace a light switch and couldn’t figure out what was going on with the wiring on the old switch. I’d heard about Frontdoor but had never tried it. Used the free call and John answered in less than a minute. He was very patient, professional, knowledgeable, and explained everything so that a non-handy man like me could understand it. He stayed on the call until the switch was replaced and the light was on. Afterward, I immediately decided to upgrade to prime. If every experience is like that one, it will be more than worth the cost!

This is a great service that helps with exactly whatever your questions are. I am excited to continue to use it as I’m working on my basement remodel. Thanks to Micah who was great on the call.

Saved me a lot of money… when other techs was way over charging me to get my microwave fixed…

They walked me through taking the microwave apart and testing different parts… found the part that was fried… they sent me the part number. Ordered the part cost me $15…. Saving me $300 highly recommended a member for life.

I’m am an employee of this app and wanted to try out our new app. I had a terrific experience with the virtual chat with an expert. I had an air conditioner split system that wasn’t properly cooling certain rooms in the house. He gave both a DYI free option and assured us if that didn’t work this is a solvable problem despite being told by our service tech saying it wasn’t . Really exciting and get this, I was connected to him in 1 minute and he attached the video and audio recording in Frontdoor so I could share it with family and friends and refer back to myself!!! Kudos this app for its new product highly recommend you try it out!!

Amazing! Easy to load app! Knowledgeable and friendly service rep who determined problem with our microwave and give us a fix within seconds on a Sunday no less! The whole experience was impressive! I am so glad I saw advertisement yesterday for this app! Thanks from The Hartwick’s.

Chris handled my watching machine repair and my inadequacies like a pro. He walked me through every step and was very patient with me. He was thorough and very helpful with each step! I will definitely use a this app expert again!

Frontdoor (and the wonderful technical professionals on it) have saved us more time and money than I can count. I had a plumbing emergency in our newly purchased home and a plumber showed me where my water shutoff was. Then, when I was told that our hot water heater wouldn’t turn back on and needed to be replaced I decided to walkthrough the reigniting process with someone on this app and voila, it started up and is working just fine. I love Frontdoor!

Frontdoor was given 5 stars for the simple reason the tips and discounts it offers are outstanding. While I am not currently in the market for a contractor or need assistance with any repairs in my home, I checked Frontdoor out.

Had problems with 3 3-way switches, in our house and struggled for a couple of days trying to figure it out. Called “this app” and worked with a tech, Jeremiah, who was a phenomenal… he was patience , articulate and very approachable.
Jeremiah, was very much a professional and knows his trade.
He walked me through a few troubleshooting steps and found the issue, Jeremiah stayed on the phone with me till I checked all the light switches and confirmed proper operations.
This was a great service… I’m upgrading Frontdoor !!!!

He did an amazing job. This is my first time using Frontdoor , and I was connected within five seconds with Drew. He gave directions that we could understand and he was able to diagnose the problem with our washer fairly quickly. I liked that He explained everything as we went along, identifying every part and what it’s purpose was in the machine. I just discovered this service and I was tackling an electrical issue for which I needed guidance so I gave this a try and couldn’t be happier!
A guy named Adam with 25 years of experience as an electrician helped me. It was great, I got a dimmable fixture installed and he helped me not only to have it connected but gave me very useful information along the way! I’m subscribing to the unlimited service now ;)

I did with the man told me I put the camera at the icemaker, and whe as a refrigerator is less than one year old very helpful, and very satisfied n you left ice come out of the refrigerator when you take stop the ice machine water runs down in three or four lines, running all over the floor and fill in the ice The man was very helpful. He told us to call Samsung.

Thought Frontdoor would be the answer to many unsuccessfully projects and breakdowns at the house. Signed up and went to use for a dryer issue. After setup, it read I was being contacted by video to someone to assist. It rang and rang and rang and rang and rang and no one answered to help. I tried 10 minutes, then 30 minutes and then sent emails and waited another 30 minutes with no response to email nor to calls. If you make the first call free, you may want to make a good impression to get a membership from customer.

Amazing experience! Chris resolved my problem quickly and easily. He walked us though all the necessary steps and made sure we were satisfied. He paid special attention to safety issues. My dryer is now working ! Thank you!
