This upgrade is a downgrade that removes Alexa support. NiceGO says I can skip the upgrade and continue to use the old app, but the old app keeps forcing me to this new app and will no longer work.
Mighty mule app had its quirks but would work, new NICE GO app will not pair with network and after waiting on hold for hours for two weeks and emails NO response from Help support.
** I finally got tech support and they have no idea how to fix we went through the same steps I been doing for weeks, I see in comments others having same issue with no help as well. I guess we all got taken and wasted our money on this device.
We used NiceGO to open gate for deliveries from work but now unable to since WiFi connection with app doesn’t work and have to drive almost hour to pick them up.
If ONLY the “next” button would highlight after connecting to GTO WiFi we would have this fixed. Hello help developers. Please

NiceGO will not open my gate
App does not connect. Waste of time, go back to other app as it worked well.
We just had to switch from the Mighty Mule app and NiceGO doesn’t communicate with our equipment. NiceGO does not work at all. I would give it 0 stars but it doesn’t allow for that.
Since switching from the Might Mule app to this one, our entry gate opens spontaneous. We get the notification that “gate opened by remote.” It happens several times of day and night, and we have even been fortunate enough to see the notification and catch it opening and closing. We have tried customer support with no luck and had to disconnect WiFi functionality. NiceGO has rendered has rendered useless the WiFi add-on that we purchased. Very disappointing.
It opens the door but always gives an error when you try to close it remotely that the door is blocked. Wall and auto remotes have no issue but NiceGO always does
The fact that the Mighty Mule app is now unsupported is horrible on its own without mentioning that I am being forced to migrate to NiceGO. In terms of functionality there is no way to migrate a user account so now a new account needs to be made and invited for every existing person whom you may want to access your device.
I would not recommend the Mighty Mule products before as it has been nothing but a headache, but after this I am averse to it.
I have a Mighty Mule gate opener that worked great until this atrocious company bought them out and forced me to switch to this absolutely useless trash app. I’ve tried doing their mandatory update a dozen times and it never works. Tried unlinking and re-adding, never works. NiceGO just spins and spins and never tells you anything. Thanks for essentially breaking hundreds of dollars of equipment with your pointless corporate take over. Maybe leave Mighty Mule alone and focus on having the dumbest company name possible whereby people couldn’t find your garbage products even if the wanted to. Had you considered calling your company “the” or maybe “a”. Eye-roll.
I’ve had nothing but issues with NiceGO . Been down since switching fro MM to this. Been on phone numerous times with help desk with no luck. Tried again Saturday and waited on hold for 30 minutes for a tech to answer before giving up. So far, the switch to Nice has not been very nice, but rather has been a nightmare and I can’t use my smartphone system. Glad to see others have not had issues, but I also see some in my same situation. Right now, I give it a 1 star. But I need this fixed asap. It’s been over a month with no luck. Plus, they cut me off from using the MM app weeks ago, even though I got a warning that after 9/1 it was not going to function. It would have been nice to use it up until 9/1, but I couldn’t access the MM app due to the redirect to Nice.
Since the old mighty mule app has changed I have no access to my gate through the phone. I’m sure NiceGO would work fine if I could get logged into it. It is certainly not seamless like was suggested.
Mighty Mule decided to change their Remote app and left me high and dry. my personal information migrated over from the old app to the new app, but my garage door information did not transfer over. I can no longer use my garage door opener remotely. This is a big problem and the company failed to address this issue or teach their support staff how to assist clients who are not at their properties and able to reprogram their garage door openers. I would not do business with this company again based on their customer support.
Follow steps to initiate pairing. Select network starting with “GTO.” WIFI shows ‘no internet connection.’ Going back to NiceGO the ‘next’ button is not highlighted.
No idea of what to do next even with the wifi name and password ready.
Was a royal pain to learn, while on vacation, that my gate is no longer functional remotely. Got home and it took 3 days to get the gate control to even connect to the new useless app. Now that it’s connected, all i get is a note stating “Gate State is Unknown”. Mind you this was working perfectly on the mighty mule app for years before this non-optional upgrade to an unusable app. Fix your garbage. Test it BEFORE you release it on ALL OF YOUR DEVICES. You Dev and QA team need to be fired.
I will not be buying or recommending anything produced from these 2 companies going forward.
We followed instructions and moved to this new app from the Linear app. Have tried for 5 days to NiceGO to connect. It just won’t pair. NICE GO is telling me we need a new wall unit - which makes no sense. NiceGO sees our WiFi and we can see the WiFi from the wall unit. Really stuck right now since we can’t go back to Linear app. Yes - switched WiFi to 2.4ghz too and turned off auto join. VERY FRUSTRATED!
Complete replacement of control board and operator for a MM 371W single gate operator has failed after 1 month. Audible feedback in Troubleshooting says control board or gate operator failure. Gate is stuck open. About to replace the 4th operator in 5 years to see if this fixes it or not. MM customer service is non-existent and don’t even try to get warranty replacements from them- they’re always out of stock and don’t know when they will be back in stock.
Buyer beware!
No notifications access, No light adjustment! This thing is going back to back to the past! Super cheap app!! Waste of time! I’m Going back to the original Linear application! Please y'all crazy!!
I like the new app very simple to use nice and bright, but I have a problem sometimes connecting to the garage door tells me sometimes at the garage is obstructed and it won’t let me open it until I open it from the inside. Is there anyway we can fix that problem but other than that I like it
This definitely works better than the Mighty Mule app. But my biggest issue is that NiceGO won’t allow the Co-Owner to see anything or do anything. I’m listed as a co-owner and I can’t invite anyone or see who’s got access or any entry logs! What’s the point of the co-owner if NiceGO restricts access like a guest? This needs to be changed.
This was supposed to be better. I find it to be about the same. I still have to use the button remote half the time. Restart NiceGO just as much. I also would love it would go. On the Apple Watch like MyQ does for the garage. Or even better add it to Ford SYNC! However, fix the kinks in it. Because it’s just the same. My whole point of buying Mighty Mule for my gate was not to have a remote in my car and I still have to have it.
App functions to open and close just fine. The most important feature that most people will use, especially one migrating from a MyQ garage door, is NiceGO alerting you if the garage has been left open for x amount of minutes.
If you drive away from your house and forget to close the garage you should be able to get a notification saying the garage has been open for say 15 or 20 minutes so you can close it through NiceGO . Without that notification you may not think about it and come home to an open garage.
With that feature added this is an easy 5 star app.
My linear app stopped working and I was forced over to Nice Go. The change over was easy and it worked great until today. I went to open the garage via NiceGO and NiceGO will open then closes immediately. I restarted the phone and reinstalled NiceGO but no luck.
Like NiceGO but opener light stays on after closing door. Have to turn off light manually.
I just installed NiceGO switching over from the Mighty Mule app, and I can’t find the settings to set your GEO fence circle. The only auto function I could find was to have it auto close. I would like it to auto open when my car/phone enters the GEO fence circle. Also no skill shows up on Alexa.
Just switched to NiceGO . So far it is working great. We shall see what the future brings. Other things to add! Wish it was Alexa compatible! Maybe that we will integrate that in soon! Anything is got to be better than what mighty mule had out as an app it never worked and had so many problems.
I want hands free going down the road, almost home “hey, siri, open my gate” for the mighty mule gate systems! There’s really no reason this cant be done when you can buy a third party “remootio” device to make it work with siri. Should not need that. Other than that, NiceGO works WAY BETTER than the original mighty mule app!!! But for the LOVE OF GOD, make it siri integrated!! It be safer driving and no need for remote or get on phone. And my gate be open before i get to the driceway. Its software….
NiceGO is working as intended. It is a cleaner interface than the MM app. I do wish we had the option of “party mode” where you can tell the gate to stay open for x timeframe or just hold open.
I recently switched from using the Linear app to this one. It works well but one of the primary notifications is missing. I want to know if I left my garage door open after x number of minutes. It’s great to get an open/close notification but I need to know more than that!
Wish would pair with Alexa for my mighty mule gate
App works great, can open gates for visitors to get in with no problems from any distance

Since switching from the Mighty Mule gate app the device has not stayed detected in NiceGO . It has no problem initially connecting to both the gate and NiceGO but it doesn’t stay that way. It’s not a WiFi issue as the box continues to show the green light. This lack of continuity makes NiceGO option inoperable.
I have been using linear and mighty mule products for over 5 years. The first app, if anything, very challenging to get connected. This new app is amazing easy to set up and connect. Notifications and activity logs are very insightful.
When comparing this New Nice brand app over the old Mighty Mule and Linear app Nice GO is hands down way better, way more user friendly and infinitely less complicated than its predecessors.

NiceGO is a major improvement on the previous, old, app. No more random opening of the gates at whatever time it decided to open. Good so far.
Automatic close needs reset after every new update on iPhone SE.
Incredibly convenient to open and close my garage door. No kore fumbling with remotes or worrying about forgetting keys!
After being stuck in ‘offline’ mode for the mighty mule app for over a week, I was excited to try this one. Was easy to set up and I have had 0 issues since switching. Load time is faster and I like the interface better. Only complaint is that I can’t figure out how to make my husband an owner instead of a guest so he also has access to the open/close logs and power to change things without me needing to hop on and do it. But if that’s my only complaint I think we’re doing well!
I hated my old garage door opener, let me clarify, turns out NiceGO is what I hated. My garage door opener was probably 3 years old and felt it was mediocre at best, and wasn’t an inexpensive one. About 3 months ago I received a message to update my app (totally new one) and it has been smooth sailing since then. I haven’t had one issues since 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
NiceGO is better than the old one, easier to use and no glitches so far

I purchased a Mighty Mule gate opener system this spring - including the WiFi adapter module…Tried “dozens” of times / all sorts of router port forwarding etc - no joy with the Mighty Mule app….
Get an email today that MM has partnered with NICE G.O. - so not reading any fancy instructions- just downloaded and followed the on-screen instructions: in 5 minutes my gate opener was linked….Awesome!
(Otherwise very satisfied with the MM system - but that WiFi module (MMS100??) - or more specifically NiceGO - was really finicky / complex pairing process etc…This is how it should have been from the get-go)
I tried for hours to get the mighty mule app to work, even after an hour support call, didn’t work. I downloaded this new app and it setup the first time and works as advertised, yea!
NiceGO is so much better. It reacts quick and never fails. The change over was a bit difficult but customer support was very helpful.
Works 100% better than old Linear App. More responsive and always displays current door position,as soon as I open NiceGO . Notifications to apple watch also work.
So excited to be able to actually open and close our gate quickly. We used to waste so much time sitting at the end of our driveway waiting-and waiting-and waiting! We’re finally able to leave w the assurance our home is secured.
Was a little leery about switching over from the mighty mule app, but I’ve had nothing but a great experience so far. NiceGO is so much better than the mighty mule gate app.

Installed this new app and it is much better than the previous one.
I was on the Lanier app and migrated to the Nice G.O. last month. The transition performed as expected. Last week I had to replace my wall station on my garage. Connecting to the new wall station went well. I am pleased with the results.
I’ve been using this since the Mighty Mule break down, But I’m so excited to say that this New improved app has been a life saver and it works flawlessly. Thank You So Much for bringing NiceGO back to life.👌🏼👌🏼
mighty mule app worked pretty flawlessly. This new app NICE GO sucks. DO NOT BUY Mighty mule products if you plan on using remote access from your phone app is inconsistent at best- randomly disconnects for no reason
